Learning Ability: Students will employ skimming and scanning strategies, use mind maps to organize information, and collaborate to solve problems. III. Key and Difficult Points Key Points: Understand the main idea and details of the article; Master the key phrases (at the heart of, a wealth of, make a living by). Difficult Points: Retell the text using key words; Understand the deep meaning of Shenzhen's development.Critically analyze why Shenzhen succeeded and apply this logic to discuss changes in their own hometowns. Step 2: While-reading Skimming: Read the article quickly and match the main ideas with each paragraph. What is one big change? What caused it? (Brief sharing). VI. Homework Read the article aloud fluently. Finish the exercises on Page 10 (Part C) and write a short passage about a city you like. VII.
