Smile at your class. When it comes time to speak, there's nothing that draws your class into
your speech than a good old-fashioned smile.Be happy, because you're about to teach your class
something they didn't know before.Studies have shown that smiles are infections. That means once
you smile,it's hard for everyone else not to smile. So if you want your speech to go off well, smile.

far beyond common translation tools by offering hands-free,screen-free,and real-time interactive
(实时互动)translation.
3The AR Smart Glasses are lightweight and comfortable to wear. They look just like
common glasses, but the 'magic"hidden within them can't be ignored ()
4The coolest feature of the AR Smart Glasses is their special translator. When people talk
with someone, they can just point the glasses'camera at the person they're talking to,and the
translation appears on the screen. When people visit a new city wearing AR Smart Glasses, they can
simply look at any text, and a translation quickly appears in their view.If they get lost and need
directions, the glasses can connect with GPS apps and show them translated directions right in front
of their eyes.Even for language learners,it would be wonderful to practice a new language by
seeing the words they hear being translated simultaneously.Learning a language can become
quicker,easier,and more certain.
5Since translation tools like the AR Smart Glasses help people understand words easily,
some people start to doubt whether it's still necessary to learn English,or,any other foreign
languages. In fact, knowing a new language is more than just that. When you speak a language
fluently, you understand the way people talk, the jokes they make, and the special meanings behind
their words. This helps you connect with people better and make real friends. Also, being able to
speak more than one language makes you smarter. It helps you think in new ways and solve
problems more easily.In a word,leaming a language isn't just about understanding words.More
importantly,it's about real connections with native speakers and a different point of view to see the
world.
6In conclusion,AR Smart Glasses provide super convenient and real-time translation,so
they are a fantastic way for communication and language learning. But the cultural value of learning
languages still matters a lot.

Many people have a fear (害怕) of public speaking. According to a study, it has an influence on 3 in every 4 people. This fact is surprising and worrying, as most jobs require some speaking ability. The following will help you to make a speech better.
Write note cards. Write main ideas on your cards. Don’t write details. Put in some fun facts, questions, and other activities on the cards to share with the class. Don’t look at your note cards for a long time while speaking. If necessary, you’re only going to have a quick look at the card for information, not read every word.
Smile at your class. When it comes time to speak, there’s nothing that draws your class into your speech than a good old-fashioned smile. Be happy, because you’re about to teach your class something they didn’t know before. Studies have shown that smiles are infections. That means once you smile, it’s hard for everyone else not to smile. So if you want your speech to go off well, smile. That will make everyone smile and maybe those smiles will make you actually smile.
Make eye contact. Nothing is more boring than listening to a speaker who looks at the floor or at note cards. Relax. Your class is made up of your friends and you talk to them all the time. Talk the same way now. Have a look at every person in the classroom at least once. That way, everyone will feel like you’re communicating with them. Also, you know you’ll look like what you’re talking about.
Use hand motions. Move your hands along as you talk, using them to express your key points and keep the class interested. It will also lead your nervous energy into a better place.

①Imagine watching a movie in a foreign language or attending a lecture where the speaker talks fast, the subtitles (字幕) appear directly on your glasses. Isn’t that amazing?
②Recently, a magical pair of glasses—the AR Smart Glasses—has hit the market, which goes far beyond common translation tools by offering hands-free, screen-free, and real-time interactive (实时互动) translation.
③The AR Smart Glasses are lightweight and comfortable to wear. They look just like common glasses, but the “magic” hidden within them can’t be ignored (忽视).
④The coolest feature of the AR Smart Glasses is their special translator. When people talk with someone, they can just point the glasses’ camera at the person they’re talking to, and the translation appears on the screen. When people visit a new city wearing AR Smart Glasses, they can simply look at any text, and a translation quickly appears in their view. If they get lost and need directions, the glasses can connect with GPS apps and show them translated directions right in front of their eyes. Even for language learners, it would be wonderful to practice a new language by seeing the words they hear being translated simultaneously. Learning a language can become quicker, easier, and more certain.
⑤Since translation tools like the AR Smart Glasses help people understand words easily, some people start to doubt whether it’s still necessary to learn English, or, any other foreign languages. In fact, knowing a new language is more than just that. When you speak a language fluently, you understand the way people talk, the jokes they make, and the special meanings behind their words. This helps you connect with people better and make real friends. Also, being able to speak more than one language makes you smarter. It helps you think in new ways and solve problems more easily. In a word, learning a language isn’t just about understanding words. More importantly, it’s about real connections with native speakers and a different point of view to see the world.
⑥In conclusion, AR Smart Glasses provide super convenient and real-time translation, so they are a fantastic way for communication and language learning. But the cultural value of learning languages still matters a lot.

32.What does the underlined word “simultaneously” mean?
A.In a careful way. B.In a proper way. C.At the same time. D.At all times.
33.What can’t the AR Smart Glasses do according to the passage?

32.What does the underlined word “simultaneously” mean?
A.In a careful way. B.In a proper way. C.At the same time. D.At all times.
33.What can’t the AR Smart Glasses do according to the passage?
A.Translate when people are talking. B.Translate the text people see.
C.Provide translated directions when people get lost. D.Teach people to speak a foreign language fluently.
34.What’s the best structure of the passage?

My Favourite Photo
In the treasure box of my life, there is a photo that shines like a bright star. Taken at my 12th birthday party at home, the photo shows my family and friends smiling around a big cake with colorful candles. My parents stand behind me, holding a guitar I’d always dreamed of, while my best friend leans in with a big grin.
That day, I was surprised by the guitar—my parents saved money for months to buy it. We sang loudly, and my friend played the piano. The photo captures the warm light of the room and the joy on everyone’s face. Whenever I look at it, I feel the love from my family and the happiness of true friendship. It reminds me that life’s best moments are about sharing with those who care.
This photo isn’t just a picture, it’s a heartwarming reminder of how lucky I am to be surrounded by such warmth.
