一、教材分析
本单元主题是“At One with Nature(与自然和谐共处)”,涉及的主题语境内容是人类与自然和谐相处。本板块的课文为一篇说明文,介绍了英国人饮用水果茶和花草茶的情况及花草茶的功效。通过这一板块的学习,学生能进一步理解人类与自然和谐相处,最终形成亲近自然、崇尚自然、合理利用自然、与自然和谐相处的意识。
二、学情分析
该语篇的阅读对象为高一学生,在本单元 Understanding ideas 部分学生已经接触到了人与自然的话题,学习了关于认识自然、改造自然的文本,本课话题继续延续了人与自然的关系,故能唤起学生的认知兴趣,激发学习动机。但是学生在自身实际生活中对园艺接触较少,缺乏将自然融入自身生活的直接经验。学生已经具备一定的阅读能力并且能够运用所掌握的阅读技巧获取语篇的基本信息,但是缺乏逻辑思维和归纳概括能力,因此,本课将通过找主旨句和支撑信息来培养学生的逻辑思维并让学生用关键词归纳每段大意来培养其归纳概括能力。通过让学生讨论并分享自身热爱自然的经历,提升创新思维能力,熟悉自然与生活的关系。
三、课时目标
1.学生能够理解和把握文章的主旨大意,学会概要写作的方法。
2.学生能够了解英国下午茶文化的相关知识,学习相关的表达
3.学生能够将中国茶介绍给外国友人,让中国文化走向世界。
教学重难点:介绍英国人饮用花草茶和水果茶的情况及花草茶的功效,引导学生写作
四、评价任务
学习理解类:观察学生能否通过阅读获取语篇中与英国下午茶的流行、不寻常的口味和健康益处有关的细节信息。

The Chinese rose can make nice tea. Its flowers become rose tea after careful picking and dealing with.
Making Chinese rose tea is a simple process ,and it mainly involves four steps. First, pick fresh petals . Choose petals that are plump and undamaged. Next , clean the petals. Put them in
clean water and stir gently to wash away dust. After that, throw away broken petals and hard parts .Then, dry the petals. Spread the clean petals evenly on a bamboo sieve or a piece of
breathable cloth. Place them in a cool area. Finally, let the petals dry for 3-5 days until they become crisp. Now your dried rose petals are ready for brewing tea. Today, rose tea is more than a drink. It carries Chinese people’s love for nature. It also carries their wish for a fine life. Many people enjoy drinking Chinese rose during their free time.
