Let's start from the very beginning, my teaching principle.
My teaching principle is mainly from English Curriculum Standards, released in 2017 and revised in 2025. It attaches great importance to cultivate students' subject core competencies.
To cultivate students“ subject core competencies, it advised teachers to adopt English Curriculum Content with Six Components Integrated and Activity-based approach.
So it encourages me to improve students learning through a series of integrated, relevant and practical activities. And these activities also promote the integration of teaching, learning and evaluation.
Teaching-learning-assessment alignment in design and implementation.
Here comes the first part, teaching principles. Based on the English curriculum standards, to cultivate students' core competencies is necessary and English curriculum should contain six interconnected components, which also promotes the development of core competencies.
The activities should be designed integrated, relevant and practical so thatstudents can participate in different tasks from reading and understandingapplying and practicing,and transfer and innovation, thus achieving theirobiectives.

With these principles in mind, let’s come to the …
First, the materials. The whole unit is composed of six parts from opening page to video time,is based on the topic agriculture,introducing agricultural scientists, world hunger problem, organic farming, chemical farming, and so on. It shows how agriculture helps our national construction and world peace, and guide students to combine their personal development and the needs of our country.

Analysis of the teaching material —the teaching text
Here comes the teaching text, The thematic context is man and society,enabling students to explore agriculture by knowing Yuan Longping: The text presents his early life, work experience, achievements, life attitude and versions,through which the author not only tells the stories of the pioneer, but also arouses students" interest and expectations of agriculture.
Writing purpose like creativity, determination, diligence and so on
