一、热身导入(5分钟)
T: Good morning, boys and girls! How are you today?
Ss: Good morning! We are fine, thank you.
T: Great! Last lesson, we talked about being healthy and strong. Who can tell me one way to be healthy?
S1: Always have breakfast!
T: Excellent! Breakfast is good for us. But before breakfast, what should we do? Today we learn Lesson 8: Always Brush Your Teeth! Let's read the title together.
Ss: Always Brush Your Teeth!
二、新知呈现:Before and after(约10分钟)
T: Let's look at Li Ming's morning. What does he do at 7:00?
Ss: He has breakfast.
T: What does he do before breakfast? Let's read.
(Teacher reads: "Li Ming has breakfast at 7:00 in the morning. Before breakfast, he washes his hands and brushes his teeth. After breakfast, he goes to school.")
T: So, before breakfast: he washes his hands and brushes his teeth. After breakfast: he goes to school.
T: Now look at Danny. What does Danny never do?
Ss: He never brushes his teeth after dinner.
T: That's bad for his teeth. So we should always brush our teeth!
三、新知学习:Jenny's week(约15分钟)
T: Let's read about Jenny's week. Who can read the first paragraph?
S2: "Jenny goes to school five times a week, from Monday to Friday. She gets up at 7:00 in the morning. First, she washes her hands and face, and then she brushes her teeth. Next, she has breakfast. Then she goes to school. She works hard at school. Saturday and Sunday are different. Jenny doesn't go to school on those days."
