2. 能够掌握现在进行时的特殊疑问句及回答:
What is the baby/woman doing now?
She's reading the newspaper.
The man behind me is playing cards with his friends.
May I play with the baby, too? Sure!

教学过程
一、热身导入(5分钟)
1. 师生问候
教师用英语和学生打招呼: Hello, boys and girls! Good morning! How are you today? 引导学生回应,营造轻松的课堂氛围。
2. 复习旧知
教师带领学生做“快速反应”游戏,用 Who is...? 提问,学生用 ... is... 回答,复习前几课的现在进行时句型,为新课学习做铺垫。
3. 情境导入
教师说: On the train, many people are doing different things. What are they doing? Let's find out with Li Ming and Jenny! 引出课题 What Are They Doing?,板书并带领学生齐读课题。
二、新知学习(15分钟)
1. 学习动词短语
教师依次出示 read the newspaper, play cards, play with, have fun, find 的图片和短语卡片,慢速范读,强调发音口型,学生跟读、分组读、指名读。
结合动作辅助记忆:如模仿看报纸、打牌、和婴儿玩耍的动作,加深学生记忆。
2. 学习现在进行时特殊疑问句
教师指着图片问: What is the woman doing now? 引导学生回答: She's reading the newspaper. 板书 What is... doing? He/She is... ,讲解现在进行时特殊疑问句结构。
教师依次讲解其他句子:
What is the man doing? He is playing cards with his friends. They're having fun.
What is Danny doing? He's playing with the baby.
May I play with the baby, too? Sure!
教师与多名学生进行示范对话,练习 What is... doing? 和 May I...? 句型。
3. 学习对话内容
播放课文动画,学生观看并理解大意:在火车上,Li Ming和Jenny讨论周围人的活动:一位女士在看报纸,一位男士在和朋友打牌,Danny在和婴儿玩耍,Jenny也想一起玩。
逐句讲解对话,重点讲解:
What is the woman doing now? She's reading the newspaper.
The man behind me is playing cards with his friends. They're having fun.
I can't find Danny! I'm playing with the baby.
May I play with the baby, too? Sure!
三、操练巩固(15分钟)
1. 课文跟读与表演
播放课文录音,学生逐句跟读,模仿语音语调,重点练习特殊疑问句的语调。
邀请几组学生上台扮演Li Ming, Jenny, Danny和其他乘客,表演课文对话,鼓励加入动作和表情,增强趣味性。
2. Make, spin and write练习
教师示范转盘游戏:转动转盘,根据指针指向的人称和动词,组合成现在进行时句子,如 I am drawing. We are eating.
学生两人一组,制作并转动转盘,写出至少4个句子,如:
He is reading a book.
She is singing.
They are swimming.
You are playing ping-pong.
学生独立完成后,小组内互相朗读,巩固现在进行时的结构。
3. Listen and repeat练习
播放单词录音,学生跟读,注意重音和发音: 'chicken, 'doctor, 'trousers, 'subject, 'science, 'welcome, thir'teen, Chi'nese 。
带领学生总结重音规律,强化语音意识。
4. 小组活动
学生分组,一人描述图片中人物的活动,其他人用 What is/are... doing? 提问,巩固现在进行时的特殊疑问句。
四、拓展运用(5分钟)
创设“公园场景”情境,学生上台扮演游客,用英语描述公园里人们的活动,例如:
What is the girl doing? She is flying a kite. What are the men doing? They are playing cards. They're having fun.
鼓励学生大胆表达,培养在真实情境中运用英语的能力。
五、课堂小结(3分钟)
1. 带领学生回顾本节课学习的动词短语、现在进行时特殊疑问句结构和对话内容,齐读短语与对话。
2. 总结:现在进行时的特殊疑问句 What is/are... doing? 用来询问他人正在进行的动作,回答用 He/She/They is/are... 。我们还可以用 May I...? 礼貌地请求参与活动。
3. 表扬表现优秀的小组和个人,鼓励学生在生活中多运用英语。
六、作业布置(2分钟)
1. 跟读课文录音3遍,熟读对话,模仿语音语调。
2. 完成Make, spin and write练习,写出4个现在进行时句子。
3. 用英语写5句话,描述你在公园里看到的人们正在做的事情: What is... doing? ... is...
