Friends can help each other by realizing that they are not alone in their feelings. Talking to parents is important, too. Parents can share their own ways of dealing with bad moods (心情). Teachers are also there to talk with you and make you feel better.
When you are in a bad mood, you can go for a run, play some tennis, ride your bike, or punch a punching bag (打沙袋).
Though it can be hard to find enough time, getting enough rest is very important. Being tired can cause more sadness.
Writing can help you express thoughts and feelings. Don’t worry about grammar or spelling. The important thing is just to write down your thoughts on paper. Do the same thing with painting, music, or other art forms. Put your feelings into your artwork.
There’s nothing wrong with crying. In fact, it often makes a person feel better. If you find that you are sad or bored most of the time, or if you just can’t seem to feel happy, you can have a cry. Crying may help you feel relaxed.
