1.能正确使用本单元“帮助与善意”相关核心词汇(如kindness、donate、raise money、volunteer、rescue、care、charity、disabled、homeless等)及短语(lend a hand、get through、make a difference、carry out、by no means、pass on、in need等);
2.能熟练运用must/may/can表达助人意愿与可能性(如“We must help those in need”),掌握“not only...but also...”结构表达助人的双重意义,正确使用“However...” “As a result...”等衔接表达;
1.体裁:爱心故事类记叙文、善意传递类短文或公益规划类应用文,兼具情感性与实践性;
2.人称:第一人称(分享助人经历、规划行动)或第三人称(讲述他人故事)为主;
○ 内容:覆盖“1个核心助人场景(个人助人/善意接力/公益行动)、2-3个关键细节(助人原因/过程/成果)、1个善意感悟或行动倡议”3个要点;
1.开头:明确引入核心主题(如“五岁女孩利娅用蜡笔为医院带来色彩与温暖” “汶川地震中的善意接力,让爱不断传递” “我计划组织一次为流浪动物送温暖的公益活动”),用简洁句式点明主题核心(如“她用小小的善举,点亮了患病孩子的等待时光” “爱出者爱返,善意终会回到身边” “小小的行动,能为需要的生命带去希望”),用情感化语言引出下文;
2.中间:若讲述助人故事,按“发现需求→克服困难→实现助人”展开,用情态动词描述助人的决心与可能性(如“She thought there must be something she could do”),结合具体事例体现善举的力量;若传递善意接力,聚焦“受助经历→传递善意→形成循环”,描述从被帮助到主动助人的转变(如“汶川地震中被救的女孩,长大后成为护士帮助他人”);若规划公益行动,围绕“帮助对象→行动方案→预期成果”,说明公益活动的具体内容(如捐赠物资、志愿服务),确保规划切实可行;
(Kindness in Crayons)
Small acts of kindness can make a big difference. Five-year-old Leah proved this with her story of helping young patients at Sunshine Hospital.
示例:When Leah was in hospital for her illness, she loved colouring to get through the pain. But she found there were never enough crayons—they had to be thrown away after one use to avoid spreading viruses. She didn’t want other kids to feel disappointed like her.
Leah planned to buy 500 boxes of crayons. However, her pocket money was only enough for 40 boxes. With the help of her family and friends, she held activities to raise money. She stayed in her wheelchair to join every activity, and her story went public. Soon, she collected over 2,600 boxes.
示例:Leah decided to buy crayons for the hospital. But her pocket money was too little, and she couldn’t do chores for money because of her illness. She didn’t give up—with her family’s help, she held fund-raising activities. Word spread fast, and people donated money and crayons. In the end, she collected 2,675 boxes, far more than her goal of 500.
The hospital’s waiting rooms are now filled with brighter pictures and happier kids. Leah’s kindness added colour to their days. This story teaches us that we all can help others, no matter how old we are.
示例:Nurses said Leah “added colour to the hospital”—kids now draw happily while waiting for treatments. Leah’s story shows that kindness has no age limit. Even a little kid can make a big difference. We should always look for ways to help those in need.
(The Circle of Kindness)
Kindness is like a boomerang—it comes back to you. A nurse’s story of being helped and passing on help deeply touches me.
示例:When the Wenchuan earthquake happened, a young girl was saved by soldiers and doctors. She was deeply touched by their courage and hard work, so she made up her mind to become a nurse to help others.
Years later, she graduated from college and became a nurse. When she heard another hospital needed support, she signed up at once. She was surprised to find that the head nurse, Ye Man, was the one who had helped her in Wenchuan 12 years ago.
示例:After graduating, she became a nurse. One day, she volunteered to help at another hospital. The head nurse, Ye Man, was very kind to her. Later, she found out that Ye Man had been a volunteer in Wenchuan 12 years ago and had helped her family! It was a amazing circle of kindness.
Love leads to love. This circle of goodwill shows that helping others is a beautiful tradition. We should pass on the kindness we receive and keep the circle going.
示例:This experience made her realize that kindness is passed from person to person. When we receive help, we should pass it on. The circle of goodwill makes the world warmer. I want to be part of this circle and help others whenever I can.
(Care for Homeless Animals)
Animals are our friends, and many of them need our help. Local animal hospitals are calling for help because more homeless animals are coming, and they don’t have enough supplies.
示例:I’ve learned that local animal hospitals are in trouble—homeless animals are increasing, but they lack workers and supplies. I want to plan a day of help to care for these lovely animals.
First, we will collect donations—money, medicines and pet food. Then, we will go to the hospital to help clean cages and read to the animals (it can calm them down). We will also make posters to ask more people to care for homeless animals.
示例:Our plan has three parts. First, we will collect donations from classmates—pet food, blankets and money. Second, we will volunteer at the animal hospital on Saturday: cleaning cages, feeding animals and playing with them. Third, we will make posters to raise awareness of protecting homeless animals.
This activity will not only help the animals but also teach us to be responsible. We hope more people will join us to care for animals in need. Every small act of kindness can change their lives.
示例:This day of help will bring warmth to homeless animals. It will also let us learn the value of helping others. We may face challenges like collecting enough supplies, but we will try our best. I believe our kindness can make the animals’ lives better, and more people will join us to protect them.
范文
A Small Act of Great Kindness
Leah, a five-year-old girl with a serious illness, did something amazing to help other young patients. Her story shows that kindness has no age limit.
Leah loved colouring during her hospital visits—it helped her get through the pain. But she found the hospital never had enough crayons, as they had to be thrown away after one use. She decided to buy 500 boxes for the hospital. With her family’s help, she held fund-raising activities. Even in a wheelchair, she joined every event. Her story went public, and people donated generously. Finally, she collected 2,675 boxes.
Now, the hospital’s waiting rooms are filled with bright pictures and happy kids. Leah’s small act brought big joy. This teaches me that we all can help others, no matter how young we are. A little kindness can make a big difference—let’s pass on this love!
