二、阅读理解(2025·叙永县三模)
It is good to enjoy food, but sometimes stories about the dangers of eating some things are really terrible. Chips, cookies and ice cream … Many kinds of food we like are ultra⁃processed(超加工的).
What are ultra⁃processed foods(UPFs)? In short, you don’t need to re⁃create them in your kitchen. They are usually made in food factories. They have a lot of additives(添加剂)—some you may never have heard of.
Studies find that UPFs are addictive(使人上瘾的). UPFs lovers are interested in such foods and want to eat them. If they stop eating them, they can feel very sad.
首页
Usually, natural foods are high in either carbohydrates(碳水化合物) or fat. But UPFs are high in both. Our body breaks down the fat from natural foods slowly. However, it breaks down the fat in UPFs quickly. This makes the brain have more dopamine(多巴胺). It makes UPFs lovers feel happy and want to eat more.
Eating too many UPFs causes problems to people’s health around the world. We’d better eat more unprocessed foods, such as fruit, vegetables and fish … After all, we are what we eat!

三、补全语篇(2025·连云港改编)
Cooking, the art and science of preparing food, is far more than daily housework. It’s like a fun classroom where you can learn different subjects all at once! 1
Science is everywhere in cooking. When you make bread, the yeast(酵母) eats sugar and makes bubbles of gas. 2 When you cook meat and it turns brown and smells good, that’s cool chemistry. Also, think about heating water, which shows how heat moves. It is all about physics.

3 You need to follow the instructions when you mix materials, like “adding 1/4 spoon of salt”. Sometimes you have to make some changes to feed more or fewer people. That means doing math. Even buying the required materials with low cost teaches you math.
Food has a lot of history. Pasta didn’t start in Italy—it came from Asia long ago! Spices(香料) were once traded like gold, and this changed how countries talked to each other. 4 In hot places, people grow more different foods than in cold places. Learning about these things helps you understand how the world works.

五、信息摘录
Tanghulu, a beloved traditional Chinese snack, has a fascinating origin(起源). It’s said that during the Song Dynasty, a wife of Emperor Guangzong of Song was seriously ill. A doctor asked her to eat hawthorns(山楂) on bamboo sticks boiled in syrup(糖浆). Surprisingly, the wife got better. This method then spread among the people, giving birth to the tanghulu we know today.
Making tanghulu is an art. First, pick fresh, big and round fruits like hawthorns, strawberries, oranges or grapes. Wash and dry them, then thread(穿成串) them onto bamboo sticks. Next, make the syrup. Finally, dip the fruit⁃strung sticks into the syrup, and put them on a plate to cool.
首页
The taste of tanghulu is truly special. The outer sugar coating is really crispy while the inner fruit is juicy, offering a blend of sweet⁃and⁃sour flavor.
In modern times, tanghulu production has seen some changes. Machine⁃made production makes it easier to make tanghulu in large numbers. Vacuum⁃packing(真空包装) can make it stay fresh longer. Also, there are a lot of new ideas. New tastes like chocolate⁃covered tanghulu or ones with nuts on top have appeared. They are also made into lovely shapes to draw in young buyers.
Let’s look forward to more wonderful creations of this traditional snack in the future.
