1.情态动词的定义(表语气,后接动词原形)

·否定形式:can→can't,must→nustn't,should-→shouldn't→例句:You mustn't park here..(禁止停

知识点二:情态动词的基本用法与语义辨析
1.can/could(能力、许可、可能性)
·表示能力(can=be able to,could为过去式)
结构:主语+can/could+动词原形
例句:
1.She can speak three languages.(现在能力,用can+speak)
2.He could swim when he was five.(过去能力,用could+swim)
·表示许可(can用于口语,could语气更委婉,回答用can)
例句:
1.Can I borrow your pen?(请求许可,用can+boIrow)

·表示可能性(can用于否定/疑问句,could可用于肯定句)
