三、重点语法知识归纳
(一)状语从句
although和though引导的让步状语从句
although和though"尽管;虽然",引导让步状语从句,从句可以放在主句之前,也可以放在主句之后。
易错点: (1)although和though不能与but连用, 但可以和yet连用。
(2)though还可以与even连用构成even though,意为"即使;纵然;虽然",而although不可以这样用。
so...that和such...that引导的结果状语从句
so/such...that "如此……以至于",引导结果状语从句,用来补充说明主句动作发生所带来的结果。
(1)so用来修饰形容词或副词,句型结构为:so + adj./adv.+ that从句。
(2)such修饰名词(短语),其句型结构有以下几种情况:
①such+a(n)+adj.+可数名词单数+that从句
② such+adj.+可数名词复数+that从句
③ such+adj.+不可数名词+that从句
易错点: (1)当名词前有many, much, few, little(少的)等限定词时,只能用so,不能用such。
(2)当单数名词前有形容词修饰时,既可用so,也可用such,但不定冠词和形容词的位置不同。
so that引导的目的状语从句
so that"为了,以便",引导目的状语从句,从句中的谓语常含有can/could,may/might,should,would等情态动词。so that可与in order that互换。
(二)限制性定语从句和关系代词
复合句中,修饰某一名词或代词作定语的从句叫作定语从句。
定语从句所修饰的词叫先行词。定语从句一般用关系词来引导,关系词放在先行词与定语从句之间,起连接作用,同时又在从句中作一定成分。
关系词分为关系代词和关系副词。常见的关系代词有that、which、who、whom、whose等;常见的关系副词有when、where、why等。

Once there was a man who liked to eat mangoes(芒果). One day he decided to get the sweetest mango from the very top of the tree. Mangoes which are exposed to the sun the most are the sweetest.
