Step 2 Pre⁃reading 1.Ask students to review the words and phrases in the box quickly. 2.Let students predict what kind of words or phrases they need to fill in the blanks. Step 3 While⁃reading 1.Ask students to read the students’ personal stories in C quickly and find out the main idea of each story. 2.Ask students to read the stories carefully again and complete the sentences with the correct forms of the words and phrases in the box. 3.Check the answers together. Step 4 Post⁃reading 1.Work on D (1)Ask students to think about the questions in D. (2)Invite some students to read their answers aloud and ask other students to listen carefully and give comments and suggestions.
