◇教学过程◇
Step 1 Leading in
1.Greet the class and review the content of the previous reading class,asking students to recall the sentences with the target grammar structures.
2.Write these sentences on the blackboard and lead to the grammar focus of the day.
Step 2 Work on Activity 5
1.Ask students to read the sentences from the reading passage aloud and observe the usage of the grammar points carefully.
2.Guide students to summarise the grammar rules,such as the formation and function of the imperative sentences.
3.Ask students to find more sentences with the same grammar structures in the reading passage and analyse their structures and meanings.
Step 3 Work on Activity 6
1.Present the instructions with the verbs in brackets and ask students to complete them using the appropriate form of the verbs and “don’t” if necessary.Pay attention to the context and the grammar rules.
2.Walk around the classroom to check students’ answers and provide immediate feedback and correction.
Step 4 Work on Activity 7
1.Show the poster of the Film Magic Club and ask students to read the text carefully.Then ask them to complete the poster with the verbs in the box,using “don’t” appropriately.
2.Check the answers and explain the reasons for each choice,emphasising the importance of understanding the context and the purpose of the text when using the grammar points.
Step 5 Work on Activity 8
1.Pair the students and ask them to talk about the importance of having fun,using the words and expressions from the reading passage and the grammar structures they just learnt.They should give examples and make suggestions.
2.Invite several pairs of students to share their conversations with the class and give positive feedback and suggestions for improvement.
◇教学反思◇
本节课主要是语法的学习。学生对祈使句基本规则有了一定认识,但在实际运用中仍存在较多错误。在口语表达中,部分学生不能准确根据语境选择合适的语法结构。在后续的教学中需增加针对性的练习,设计多样化的语境让学生巩固语法知识。
