◇教学过程◇
Step 1 Leading in
1.Greet the class.
2.Ask students to think about the entertainment activities they and their friends usually do and share some interesting examples to activate their thinking.
Step 2 Brainstorming
1.Divide students into groups and ask them to discuss the content of the survey questions.They should cover aspects such as the types of activities,frequency,reasons for liking,and any problems or challenges faced.
2.Each group makes a draft of the survey and shares it with the class.Then,have a class discussion to improve and finalize the survey questions,ensuring clarity and relevance.
Step 3 Survey and data analysis
1.Guide students to collect and organise the data after the survey.They can use tables or charts to record and summarise the data.
2.Help students analyse the data to find out trends and patterns.For example,identify the most popular and least popular activities,and any differences between genders or age groups.
Step 4 Report writing
1.Provide an outline for the report,including an introduction stating the purpose of the survey,a result section presenting the data and analysis,a conclusion emphasising the importance of having fun,and suggestions for promoting balanced entertainment.
2.Guide students to write the report based on the outline and their data analysis.Encourage them to use the words and expressions learnt in the unit.
3.Ask students to review and revise their reports for grammar errors,spelling mistakes,and logical coherence.
Step 5 Share and present
1.Invite each group to send a representative to present their reports to the class.The representative should introduce the survey background,key findings,and conclusions clearly.
2.After the presentation,ask other students to give comments and suggestions based on the content,data presentation,and presentation skills.Then,conduct a vote to select the best three reports and give awards.
Step 6 Reflection
1.Ask students to think about what they have learnt in this unit.
2.Have students discuss in pairs or small groups about the problems and difficulties they encountered during the learning process.
3.Encourage students to enjoy entertainment activities.
◇教学反思◇
在调查和报告制作环节,学生表现出较高的积极性和创造力,但部分学生在数据分析和报告撰写方面存在一定困难,如数据图表制作不规范、文字表达不够准确。在展示环节,多数学生能够清晰介绍报告内容,但仍有部分学生在应对观众提问时略显紧张。在反思过程中,学生能够认识到自己的一些问题,但对于如何进一步提高还需要更具体的指导。
