◇教学过程◇
Step 1 Leading in
Greet the class and show a glass filled halfway with water.Ask students to describe what they see and how they feel about it.
Step 2 Work on Activity 1
1.Ask students to listen to the radio programme carefully and choose the main idea from the given options.
2.Play the recording again if necessary and check the answer,asking students to explain their choices.
Step 3 Phonetics in use
1.Explain the pronunciation of /əʊ/ and /aʊ/ with examples and play related pronunciation videos for students to watch and practise.
2.Read some words containing these sounds and ask students to repeat,correcting their pronunciation.
Step 4 Work on Activity 2
1.Ask students to listen to the radio programme again and complete the survey report,focusing on the details about the survey process and results.
2.Check the answers and have students discuss the significance of the results,such as what they can tell about people’s attitudes.
Step 5 Work on Activity 3
1.Play Dr Zheng’s the conversation recording and ask students to complete the table about Kate’s and Mike’s problems and Dr Zheng’s advice.
2.Listen again and check the answers,and then ask students to talk about how the speakers describe their problems and give advice.
Step 6 Work on Activity 4
1.Pair the students and ask them to choose a problem in life and give advice to each other,using the expressions and structures learnt in class.
2.Invite some pairs to act out their conversations and encourage other students to listen attentively and give comments.
◇教学反思◇
在听力部分,大部分学生能够听懂主要内容,但在一些细节信息的记录上存在困难,如数字和具体的观点表述。发音练习环节,学生对 /əʊ/ 和 /aʊ/ 的发音有了一定的改进,但仍需加强巩固。口语表达中,学生能够提出一些观点和建议,但语言表达较为简单,逻辑不够严密。后续应增加听力细节训练和口语表达的逻辑指导,提供更多真实语境的练习机会。
