Every year, millions of migratory birds (fly long distances across the world, overcoming difficulties
like storms and hunger to complete their journey. These birds are not only beautiful but also play a key role in
nature, such as controlling insect populations, and connecting different habitats around the world.
However,a 2024 report by the IUCN shows that 30%of migratory bird species have gone down in number and
15%have endangered.
Migratory birds today face serious problems.Climate change is affecting their migration routes and resting
places. For example,Arctic terns (fly from the north to the south of the Earth every year, but now ice
melts earlier. They have less time to raise their young babies. At the same time, the wetlands, places for them to
rest and eat during their journey, are being changed to cities and farms.
Illegal hunting is another danger. In some areas, birds are caught for their feathers, meat,or to be sold as pets.
In 2023,a large illegal hunting group in Southeast Asia was found to have killed more than 10,000 migratory birds
in just half a year.
Thankfully, people around the world are acting to protect these birds. The"Wings of Hope"campaign started
in 2024 to inspire all people and organizations to protect migratory birds.Volunteers have built man-made
wetlands and feeding stations along migration routes. In China, local groups run "bird watching stations"to watch
over the birds.Scientists also use GPS trackers to study their migration routes in order to protect their habitats.

How do people think differently? This has always been unusual. To search an answer,a
scientist named J.P.Guilford started a study of creativity, known as the nine-dot puzzle. He asked
the participants to connect all nine dots using only four straight lines, without lifting(
)their pencils from the paper. Most participants drew lines within the square they imagined.
Only 20 percent succeeded in breaking out of the square and continuing their lines in the white space around the
dots, while the rest of them were blinded by the boundaries()of the square.
Guilford then drew a conclusion:creativity needs you to go outside the box.The idea was widely spread soon.
It was so popular that few thought of checking the facts.
To make sure that Guilford's study is correct, one research team did another experiment. They divided
participants into two groups. The first group was given the same instructions()as the participants in Guilford's
experiment. The second group was told to draw the lines outside the imagined box.Guess what?Only a little more
than 20 percent solved the puzzle, which is no big difference from the result of Guilford's experiment.
Let's look a little more closely at the surprising result.Solving this problem requires people to think outside
the box. However, the clear instructions to "think outside the box"do not help participants improve their
performance. The widely spread idea that out-of-the-box thinking makes people more creative can be dangerous.
After all, with one simple experiment, researchers had proved that the connection between thinking outside the box
and creativity was a misunderstanding.

A.clear instructions influence how people solve problems
B.fewer people performed better with the clear instructions
C.boundaries sometimes make people think less creatively
D.the methods of nine-dot puzzle study need to be improved

65.Which is the best title for the passage?
