At school, students usually learn many subjects in the classroom like English, maths and so on. Now there is a new one in some schools—school gardening. It is an outdoor subject. In the gardening class, teachers teach students different kinds of vegetables and how to grow them. Then students work in groups.
The students really love this subject. Why? Because they can have much fun in this class. They don’t have to sit at their desks in the classroom all day. They can get out, get their hands dirty, do things with their own hands and relax. It’s also fun to get something to eat and see. In some schools, students like to grow carrots and tomatoes. It’s always funny for them to get a carrot or a tomato, wash it and eat it right in the garden. In some schools, students like to grow flowers. When it’s spring, all the flowers come out and they’re really beautiful. Students like to walk and talk in the garden. That’s their favourite thing to do after busy hours of work.
Only fun from the classes? Of course not. Students can learn something too. Keeping a school garden is difficult and all the students in the group need to come and help. This teaches students teamwork (团队协作). Also, some vegetables are easy to grow, but others need a long time. This teaches students they need to wait before they get the things they want.

阅读下面短文,并用英语回答问题 (请注意每小题的词数要求)。
One night, as I was lying on the bed, a light shone through my window. A strange man appeared in my room. “Do you want to take a trip to the future?” he asked. I was so excited and said yes.
Suddenly, we were in 2150. The first thing that caught my eye was the traffic there. There were no cars on the ground, and instead, strange flying machines were everywhere!
We walked into a shopping mall. Without using their phones at all, they just scanned (扫描) their hands to pay for things.
Next, we visited a school. The education was very different. Teachers were using robots to help with teaching.
After that, we went to a hospital. The medical technology was highly developed. Doctors could cure almost all kinds of diseases (疾病) easily.
As the day was coming to an end, the man said it was time for me to go back. I was a little sad because I didn’t want to leave this wonderful future. When I opened my eyes, I found myself back on my bed and the man disappeared. It seemed like a dream.

Appreciate (欣赏) differences. Even people with similar characters have different personal experiences that shape their ideas and opinions. Learning more about people can help you appreciate their differences and change your opinions about them.
Try to understand others’ feelings. When you are in other persons’ shoes, you can naturally understand what they are feeling and their ideas. Try thinking to yourself. For example, you can say to yourself, “If I were her, how would I feel?” It’s important not just to put yourself in the person’s shoes, but to actually imagine yourself as that person.
These are important skills in social life that help you better get along with different types of people.
If you can follow the suggestions above, you will be more sociable in your life.

There may be many other good things about school gardening. But one thing is for sure students really love having outdoor classes.

Nothing is impossible. I believe that one day, all these amazing things in my “dream” will come true.
