To understand the significance of sports. 学习活动 Lead-in Task: Design a Sports Festival for our school Inspire students by stating the task of helping the PE teacher design the Sports Festival, focusing on arranging Sports Events Schedule to kick off the lesson. Pre-listening Task: Brainstorming: 1.What sports events do you know? Let students talk about the sports events they are familiar with to activate their previous knowledge. 2.Do you know some creative sports events? Encourage students to think of creative sports events to make the Sports Festival more wonderful. While-listening Conversation 1 Task1: Listen for the Main Idea Ask students to find the main idea of this conversation and tell them listening skill for main idea. Task2: Listen for Details Play the audio again and ask students to find the stressed words in the conversation, helping them better understand the key information.
