应用文写作：人物介绍类 英语写作中的个人简介主要有两种。一种是单纯的自我介绍， 目的是告知对方一些个人信息；另一种个人简介是作为应用文写作的一部分，通过对个人的介绍来达到某种明确特定的目的，如申请某份工作，加入某个活动等，通常包括应聘信、申请信或个人介绍等，并且以第二种考查居多。对这种文章的写作需从以下几点入手： 1．介绍个人基本情况，主要包括姓名、年龄、爱好等； 2．陈述个人优势(知识面、语言水平、特长爱好等)； 3．提出写信目的，表达期望。 常用表达： 1．开头部分常用表达 I have read in the newspaper that...is wanted in your company. 我在报纸上看到贵公司在招聘…… I am writing to express my keen interest in...and would like to apply for membership/participation. 我写信是为了表达我对……的浓厚兴趣，并希望申请成为会员/参与者。 Here is a brief introduction of me. 下面我将简要地介绍一下自己。 I am writing to make a self-introduction. 我写信来进行自我介绍。 My name is...，a freshman from... 我的名字是……，是来自……的一名新生。 2．主体部分常用表达 The reason why I am suitable for the position is that... 我适合这个职位的原因是…… I have a strong interest in...，which I have been developing through... 我对……有着浓厚的兴趣，并且我一直在通过……来培养这一兴趣。 I enjoy...，and I believe these skills would be beneficial to ... 我喜欢……，并且我相信这些技能对……将是有益的。 I’ve been learning English for/since...，so ... 我已经学英语……年了/我从……就开始学英语，所以…… 3．结尾部分常用表达 My dream/goal is to...and I hope I can...in the future. 我的梦想/目标是……，我希望我将来能够…… I am looking forward to hearing from you soon. 期待早日收到您的来信。 I would be very grateful if you could give me the opportunity. 如果您能给我这个机会，我会非常感激。 分步演练： 假定你是李华，暑假在伦敦学习，得知当地美术馆要举办中国画展。请你写一封信申请做志愿者，内容包括： 1．写信目的； 2．个人优势； 3．能做的事情。 注意：可以适当增加细节，以使行文连贯。 第一步　审题谋篇 审题 1．确定文体：应用文。 2．主体时态：文章应以一般现在时为主。 3．主体人称：由于是个人简历，所以人称应该以第一人称为主。 谋篇 第一段：基本情况介绍(姓名、性别、住址等)，写信目的。 第二段：介绍自己的特长、阅历等。 第三段：表达期望。 第二步　遣词造句 核心词汇： 1．申请apply 2．志愿者volunteer 3．使能够enable 4．性格，气质personality 5．此外in addition 6．有益的，值得的rewarding 7．使与众不同set sb apart 8．方便，便利convenience 连词成句　(含本单元句型) 1．我是来自中国的学生，名叫李华，现在正在伦敦学习。 I am a Chinese student named Li Hua，and I am now studying in London. 2．我得知当地美术馆将举办中国画展，因此我写信申请成为一名志愿者。 I learn that the local art gallery will hold an exhibition of Chinese paintings，so I am writing to apply to be a volunteer. 3．我从小学起就开始每周学习中国画，这让我对中国画有了很好的了解。 I have learnt Chinese painting on a weekly basis since primary school，which enables me to have a good knowledge of it. 4．此外，我性格外向，英语说得很流利。 In addition，I have an outgoing personality and can speak English fluently. 5．说一口流利的英语使我能够与他人很好地沟通。(make＋it＋adj.＋for sb to do) Speaking English fluently makes it possible for me to communicate well with others. 6．真正使我与众不同的是我的强烈责任感。(what引导主语从句) What truly sets me apart is my strong sense of responsibility. 7．我相信这项志愿者工作将是一次有益的经历。 I believe this volunteer work will be a rewarding experience. 8．我期待在您方便的时候尽早收到您的回复。 I’m looking forward to hearing from you at your earliest convenience. 第三步　句式升级 1．把句2升级为现在分词短语作状语的句子。 Learning that the local art gallery will hold an exhibition of Chinese paintings，I am writing to apply to be a volunteer. 2．用分词作状语合并句4和句5。 In addition，I have an outgoing personality and can speak English fluently，making it possible for me to communicate well with others. 第四步　组句成篇 用适当的过渡词语，把以上词汇和句式，再加上联想内容，组成一篇80词左右的英语短文。 参考范文： Dear Sir or Madam， I am a Chinese student named Li Hua，and I am now studying in London.Learning that the local art gallery will hold an exhibition of Chinese paintings，I am writing to apply to be a volunteer.
