I bet you have noticed that all the words we just used are verbs. And they're used to describe actions. But the words we just used describing actions are quite simple and boring. So the story is a little boring and plain. Can we revise the story into a vivid and interesting one by upgrading action description? Of course, we can. Today, I have three strategies for you. Follow me and after class, I believe you can make your action description vivid. Step 2: Strategy presentation and practice Strategy 1.Upgrade vocabulary（呈现第一条技巧，用细节词替换笼统词） 教师：The first strategy is to upgrade words by using specific actions of body parts.（Look at Judy. From head to toe, what actions can she do? Obviously, she can see, talk, cry, walk, run and so on. But these descriptions are quite simple. Why not use the specific actions listed on the right side? By using verbs like glance, shout, whisper, rush to describe actions, Judy has become alive. Strategy 2. Build an action chain .(第二个技巧拆解核心动词，构造动作链) 教师：Look at the picture . What is Judy doing ? Judy is getting on the train. Obviously, with only one action , the description is not as vivid and interesting as the pictures . So, here we use the 2nd strategy -build an action chain for the picture. We can divide a resulting action into several detailed micro actions based on time order and build an action chain . We can divide the action-getting on the train into several detailed actions based on the time order. （呈现Judy上火车的图片，然后分解动作：看见火车进站---朝火车跑去---登上火车）saw the train first, then rushed to the train and last got on the train. So the action could be described as：Judy saw the train arrive, rushed to the train and got on it.（根据时间轴动作流程图）So we can get the first sentence structure: A, B and C. 比如： 2023年新高考1卷 写作比赛，老师，我，颁奖典礼 我看着观众，深吸一口气，说到:“谢谢我的老师。”I glanced at the audience, took a deep breath and said, “Thank my teacher!” 老师：We can use “and” to connect different verbs. Is that the only way？.(提问学生，思考一下除了and连接多个动词，我们还可以怎么办？我们保留核心动词，其他动词按照时间关系采用相对应的非谓语形式。)Of course not, we can use non-finite verb. let’s read the sentence again: Which action happens first? Yes, see, this action happens first, so here we can use having seen to describe the first action. So the original sentence can be described as Having seen the train arrive, Judy rushed to the train and got on it quickly. (发在较早的动作用having done形式，其余动作做并列谓语 If there are more than 2 actions happening at the same time, we can keep one or two main actions as predicate and use ingform to replace the others. For example, Judy sat in the front of the train and she listened to her favourite music. (保留1个或两个核心动词为谓语，其他同步进行的动作用doing形式。) So we can change the original sentence like this: Judy sat in the front of the train, listening to her favourite music. Build an action scene. （第三个技巧构造动作面, 肢体动作加上心理、面部、语言等塑造全面立体的动作画面。） In addition to building an action chain, we can also further upgrade an action chain into an action scene by adding other elements, such as emotion, psychology, and dialogue and facial expressions. How can we achieve this goal?
