Li Meixi, 12, feels worried about her looks---not her face, but her clothes. When she sees fashionable people on the street, she avoids running into them. “I am afraid that they think I am out of style. Ashamed of my common ordinary clothes, I feel like I don’t even deserve (值得)to walk on the same street with them. ” said Li, from Chengdu, Sichuan.
What Li is experiencing is fashion worries. It bothers(困扰) many people today. They are worried about their clothes, afraid of being seen out of style.
A big reasons for fashion worries is fashion bullying, experts said. As fashion magazines, advertisements and idols show off the “latest and greatest” trends(潮流) ,there is a lot of pressure on people, especially teenagers, to follow them, no matter how expensive it might be. “The need to belong in groups is very important to young learners and exclusion(排斥) is something they see as the end of the world,” said Andy Crankarm, a teacher at City of Bristol College, UK.
Another reason some people might have fashion worries is that they don’t have a sense of self-identity (自我认同) ,said The Paper. It looks like we feel worried about our clothes, but actually we are not confident enough. So we care about how fashionable people look at me. We easily worry about or even blame ourselves. The reality is that those people usually don’t notice at all.
Fashion trends come and go, always changing. Instead of rushing to follow a trend, the key is to find your own style. If you’re able to wear something with confidence, you will be the one starting a trend. More importantly, the clothes are just a part of your image. It can’t tell the true you. What also matter is your personality and abilities.

Adults often say things like, “Kid were so young when something terrible happened that they wouldn’t even remember it as an adult.” But childhood trauma(创伤)can have a lifelong influence. According to a study from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, kids who experience trauma have an increased risk of having heart disease(疾病)in their 50s and 60s.

阅读下面短文,根据短文内容回答问题。
With the strong development of Chinese cultures and western cultures, more and more people go to different countries for exchange and learning. As learners, we need to know the cultural differences between Chinese cultures and western cultures. In this way, it can help learners master the second language well. At the same time, it can also help learners make fewer mistakes.
First, western people express themselves directly, while Chinese act oppositely ( 相 反 地 ). We Chinese are implicative (含蓄的) all the time. When Chinese people get angry or unsatisfied, most of them will say nothing. When a Chinese acts like this in front of a foreigner, the foreigner will have no idea about how the Chinese feels and the foreigner just treats the Chinese as if nothing happens. So if you are unsatisfied with a foreigner, you just need to speak it out. Don’t hide your feelings, because he or she can’t understand your thoughts.
Second, the value(价值观念) about things is different between Chinese and western people. We Chinese seem to be more worried about tomorrow, while western people like to spend tomorrow’s money. That is a tradition. Unlike Chinese, western people believe that they should enjoy the moment and tomorrow is another thing. So they enjoy everything they have now, having no clear plans for the future.
But remember, there is no judgement(评判) about which one is better. Every country’s culture has its own special meaning. What we need to know is to respect(尊重) each other’s culture and get along with each other peacefully.
56. Why do learners need to know the cultural differences between Chinese cultures and western cultures?
57. If you are angry with a foreigner, how will you let him or her know that?
58. Do Chinese and western people have the same value about tomorrow?
59. What do we need to do in face of different cultures?
60. What is your value about tomorrow?
