A Brief Biography of Albert Einstein
Albert Einstein was born on March 14,1879,in Ulm,Germany. As a child,he showed little interest
in traditional schooling but developed a deep curiosity for how the world worked. At 16,he imagined
chasing a beam of light,a thought that later shaped his theory of relativity
In 1905,Einstein published four groundbreaking papers, including his*Special Theory of Relativity*
with the famous equation E=me2.This work revolutionized physics by linking energy and mass.In
1915,he expanded this into the*General Theory of Relativity*,proposing that gravity warps spacetime
-a theory later confirmed by observations of solar eclipses.
Einstein fled Nazi Germany in 1933,settling in the U.S.where he worked at Princeton University.Though
he advocated for peace,he signed a letter to President Roosevelt warning of Nazi nuclear weapons,
indirectly contributing to the Manhattan Project. In 1921,he won the Nobel Prize in Physics for his
explanation of the photoelectric effect.
Known for his wit and humility,Einstein once said,"Imagination is more important than knowledge."
He died on April 18,1955,leaving a legacy as one of history's greatest scientific minds, whose ideas
continue to influence modern physics and technology.
