Should robots work in restaurants in the future?
There will be more robots in the future. Some robots can even serve in restaurants like human waiters. Now, more and more restaurants are using robots instead of people to serve customers.
Restaurants in the US have a hard time finding enough cooks and servers. So they begin to use smart robots to take the place of people. In the kitchen, robots can make burgers and salad. Some robots work in the front of the restaurant. Some robot-servers say hello to customers and guide them to their tables, while people take orders. Other robots can take orders by themselves. People often put plates on and take plates off a robot that moves between the kitchen and the dining area. Some people think robots are the future of eating out. But others say taking jobs away from people is a bad idea. Should robots work in restaurants in the future? What do you think?
YES Three reasons robots should work in restaurants
①They solve the problem of not having enough workers. They help restaurants work better and maybe even save money.
②Robots are more dependable (可靠的) than people. They let human workers spend more time with customers.
③A restaurant with robots will draw more customers because robots are interesting and fun.
NO Three reasons robots should not work in restaurants

Dreams are necessary. As students, our dream is to get good grades, have good friends.
Just like others, I also had a dream from an early age. I wanted to be a doctor, but I was not good at talking to people. In public, I chose to keep quiet. I am also a little shy and do not like opening up to everyone.
However, the feelings are bad for health. I always want to shout out loud and keep away from these feelings when no one is around me. Soon I found out that a good way to work out the problem is through writing. I began writing and found out that I am really talented in it. It is hard for me to talk about my feelings, however, it is quite easy for me to write them down.
Writing for me now has become a way of life. I keep writing down all my feelings. I like it and I now want to turn it into my job.
I write down something that happens in my life. I also love writing stories. Now I hope to become a famous writer when I grow up. I want to write articles for magazines and newspapers and stories for children one day. My family is behind me about my job dream.

It’s important for parents to learn to deal with different kinds of situations and here are some ways that can help you.
Situation 1: Your child is bullied (被欺凌).

How to help: Help your child think of ways to protect himself. Tell his teacher because the teacher knows what to do with the situation. In this way, your child can stand up for himself, and can know that you’ll stand up for him if the bullying goes on.
Situation 2: _______
You can’t always keep your child happy. So what should you do when he is sad? If you tell him that that’s just how everything goes and that not everyone is going to like him, he may still feel sad and think his feelings aren’t important.
How to help: Tell your child you know this is difficult for him. Then talk about different kinds of friendships. Ask him what kind of friendship he has with the birthday child. Are they close or are they just school friends? In this way, your child will learn that there are different kinds of friends.

My Unforgettable Mountain Getaway
Last summer, I needed a real vacation. City life felt exhausting, so I decided to hike in the Blue Ridge Mountains. My best friend, Leo, who is incredibly forgetful, promised to join me. “Remind me to pack my hiking boots tomorrow!” he said the night before. I knew I had to remind him about several things.
We arrived at the campsite under bright sunshine. The air smelled fresh, and everything felt peaceful. While setting up the tent, I realized Leo hadn’t packed his sleeping bag! “Someone must have moved it from my room,” he mumbled, looking embarrassed. I sighed; nothing ever seemed easy with Leo. I lent him my spare blanket—anything was better than nothing on a cool mountain night.
The next morning, we started our hike. The views were breathtaking; everybody we passed smiled and said hello. We saw something amazing near the summit—a family of deer grazing quietly. Nobody made a sound, respecting their space. It was magical. Later, as we cooked dinner, Leo finally remembered his boots...left neatly by his front door! We laughed until our sides hurt. Everything about his forgetfulness suddenly seemed funny under the stars.
That trip taught me something important. True relaxation doesn’t mean perfect planning. Anything unexpected can become a wonderful memory. Sharing that blanket under the stars? That was nothing like I’d imagined, yet everything I needed. The mountains reminded me to appreciate simple moments and friends—even forgetful ones!
