A.回答问题(本题共5小题,每小题2分,共10分)
请阅读下面短文,根据所提供的信息,回答5个问题。要求所写答案语法正确、语义完整切题。
Recently, I started to use an app to keep a record of my running. For each running every day, I’ve set a goal. That is to go farther, run faster and burn more calories (卡路里). Last night I finished an 8.3 km run in 46 minutes and burnt 468 calories. In comparison, my run two days ago was 8.6 km in 46 minutes with 483 calories burnt. The numbers showed little progress and it made me feel disappointed.
The attention to numbers kept me away from the main purpose of exercise. We should exercise for the purpose of building our confidence. But confidence building comes with feeling good to do better in our daily life, experiencing less pain and achieving more freedom. Exercise should help us improve our quality of life with an excellent condition. Exercise should not just go for the purpose of the success in App numbers.
When we take physical exercise, what comforts us most should be firstly considered. Sometimes what comforts us is coming back home and doing a light exercise, like going on a short cycling. Sometimes what comforts us is simply going to sleep before 10 p.m. instead of forcing ourselves into an exercise. Apps of this kind are a great way for us to keep an eye on our health. But don’t pay too much attention to the numbers on the Apps. So my advice is: when you do physical exercise, make sure you feel good about yourself. Forget the numbers on Apps.
46.What goal has the writer set after using an app to keep a record of running?
47.Why did the writer feel disappointed?
48.From the writer’s point of view, what should be our purpose of doing exercise?
49.How many things does confidence building come with?
50.What suggestion does the writer give us when we do physical exercise?
