Cheng Yuyan, 25, the founder of the “We Love Strolling (散步) in the Park” interest group on Douban, never expected that the interest group would now have 100,000 members. Park lovers from both home and abroad share their park experiences, post photos taken in parks, and give likes and reviews of parks. Within this group, there is an idea called “20 minutes for parks”. It suggests that spending just 20 minutes in a park each day can help lower stress, no matter how you choose to spend that time.
Huang Bingbing, a Shenzhen-based practitioner (实践者) of this idea, began visiting the small park downstairs from her company office during her weekday lunch breaks over three years ago. “On that piece of grass, I could connect with living plants and animals. It allowed me to get away from the stress of work and refresh my mind,” Huang explained.
Huang believes that parks are private spaces. She considers herself a shy person, and parks serve as the perfect place for her. She often spends time alone in parks, free from worrying about the social communication.
At the same time, parks also work as public spaces. Cheng believes people can further deepen their connection with parks by developing a sense of ownership. She recalls her experiences of visiting parks in Japan. She noticed that park benches (长椅), given away by local people, had their givers’ nameplates. She plans to encourage members of her Douban group to have similar responsibilities. “I hope this group shows more social responsibility. Each of us can become a protecter and contributor (贡献者) to the parks and our city,” she said.
29. Why do more and more people take walks in parks?
A. To make friends. B. To take photos.
C. To cut the stress. D. To study plants.
30. Which italic (斜体) word has the same meaning as the underlined word “serve” in Paragragh 3?
A. I want to find a job to serve the community.
B. The sofa will serve as a bed for a night or two.
C. The waiter smiled when he served the customers.
D. In America, people serve food on plates, not in bowls.
31. What aspect (方面) of the Japanese parks made Cheng realize the social responsibility?
A. The culture of the benches. B. The kinds of the plants.
C. The activities at the parks. D. The number of the parks.
32. Which is the best title for the passage?
A. As simple as a walk in parks B. An enjoyable trip to Japan
C. As little as 20 minutes of walking D. A 20-minute break in the office

①We can see circles, squares and triangles everywhere in our daily life. Have you thought about their meanings in films? Much like colors, different shapes can show different features of characters in the scenes.
② Circles represent things that are soft and natural. The round shape reminds us of things that appear in nature, like the sun, raindrops and so on. We can also connect circles with beautiful eyes, babies’ round faces… All these things make us feel happy and warm. This is why so many cartoon characters’ bodies—heroes, good people—are round in shape, because circles represent goodness, happiness and friendliness.
③ Squares show things that are unnatural or man-made, or things that are boring or old-fashioned. In the cartoon film Up, Carl has a square face and wears square glasses, while Russell, an 8-year-old boy with a round face, always wears round medals. These shapes show the characters’ personalities. Carl is stubborn (固执的) and lonely, while Russell is lovely and full of energy.
④ The angriest shape is the triangle. Every kid who draws a monster with sharp teeth draws a row of triangles, don’t they? That’s because the shape represents fear, distrust and doubt in some way. Look at the bad guys in cartoons—they are all drawn with plenty of points and triangles, like Shengongbao in Ne Zha. And triangles are stable (稳固的) and don’t easily fall down. In films, this feature makes bad people difficult to deal with.
⑤ Not only in cartoons, but also in other kinds of films, different shapes are used for the same purpose. So, try to find the hidden shapes and you will know what the characters are like.
33. How does the writer explain the relationship between squares and characters’ personalities?
A. By telling a story. B. By listing numbers.
C. By raising a question. D. By giving an example.
34. Which picture does the underlined word “triangle” refer to?
A. B. C. D.
35. Which of the following is the structure of the article?(①=Para 1,②=Para 2……)
A. B. C. D.
36. What is the text mainly about?
A. Why different shapes represent different things.
B. What makes kids fascinated by heroes in films.
C. What different shapes represent in different films.
D. How cartoons make different colors and shapes
四、任务型阅读(共8分)
根据短文内容,回答下列各题。
Chinese traditional painting and dance are two important parts of the art world. But what about when they meet each other?
This year, a dance drama called Poetic Dance: The Journey of a Legendary Landscape Painting (《只此青绿》) was shown on CCTV’s Spring Festival Gala. It became popular overnight.
According to CCTV, this poetic dance got the idea from the 900-year-old Chinese painting A Panorama of Rivers and Mountains (《千里江山图》). Created by Song Dynasty painter Wang Ximeng at about 18, the painting is amazing in its sweeping size, rich coloration and expressive details. It shows a Chinese blue-green landscape: “mountains and groupings of endless rise and fall between cloudless sky and rippling water”.
The dance shows the Chinese traditional beauty of the painting. The dancers each had a different hairstyle, which looked like a mountain rock. The clothes that they wore were shades of green and blue, which is also poetic show of the mountains and rivers. When the dancers swayed beautifully, the audience seemed to be looking at the moving mountains and rivers. Huge mountains and rivers are coming to life! More than a thousand years later, green mountains and rivers still wow people as they did long ago.
In recent years, more and more modern shows highlight Chinese traditional culture and have received warm welcome, especially among young people. They show interest in Chinese culture and are proud of it.

At the same time parks also work as public spaces.
