教材分析

PronunciationStep 6
1. Work on 1.
(1) Listen and conclude.
Play the pronunciation of the following words: she, these, bed, pet and let students repeat. T: What pronunciation does“e”have in these words?
Ss: /i:/ and /e/.
T: Great. Now, add one more word to the two groups.
Conclude the pronunciations of“ea”,“ee”, and“ear”in the same way.
(2) Practise.
Show the pictures of the words: she, these, bed, pet, please, sheep, bread, hear, bear, pear, dead, dear and let students say out their pronunciation quickly. The teacher can divide students into two groups and the faster group wins the game.
2. Work on 2.
Listen and repeat. Notice how the stressed words are pronounced. Find out the rules.
