活动1 Listening

Step 2: 教师要求学生读2a中所列的Maria可能犯的错误。
Step 3: 学生听录音,在Maria犯的错误前打勾。
Step 4: 核对答案,初步了解参加聚会时的不恰当举止。
活动2 Roleplay
Step 1: 提供一个真实语境的口头范例,导入话题,引导学生运用目标语言进行正确表达。
教师导入话题语境:John went to the welcome party for foreign students last night. He made some new friends. But something funny happened.
引出问题:What funny thing happened last night?
Step 2: 阅读对话,回答下列问题。

(二)语法突破设计
1. be supposed/expected to do的用法
【观察】
You are supposed to arrive at 6:00.
He is expected to do well in the test.
【讲解】
(1)be supposed to do意为“应该……;预料”。主语是物时,意为“本应;本该”,指“某事本应该发生却没有发生”。
(2)be expected to do意为“被期望……”,表示一种可能性,表达“被期许(预期)会做某事”。
2. It is+adj.+ to do的用法
【观察】
It is kind of you to help me.
【讲解】
it作形式主语,真正的主语是动词不定式。
