第六课时　Project & Reflecting ◇目标导航◇ 类别 课时要点 重点句型 All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.只工作不玩耍,聪明孩子也变傻。 教学重点 1.Guide students to conduct a survey on popular free⁃time activities,developing their teamwork and data collection skills. 2.Help students create a chart based on the survey results and present it to the class,improving their oral presentation skills. 教学难点 1.Help students design the survey reasonably and collect effective information. 2.Guide students to analyze the survey results and explain them clearly and logically in the presentation. 3.Encourage students to conduct in⁃depth reflection on their language learning and application. ◇教学过程◇ Step 1 Leading in 1.Greet the class and review:“What are the benefits of free⁃time activities?How do you usually spend your free time?” 2.Introduce the project:“Today we will do a survey on popular free⁃time activities in our group.We will collect information,make a chart,and present our findings.” Step 2 Work on 4a-4b 1.Divide students into groups of 4 or 5.Explain the survey tasks:Each group member asks others in the group the two questions in 4a and notes down the answers in the table. 2.After collecting the answers,each group organizes the data and creates a chart like the example in 4b to show the results. 3.Walk around the classroom to monitor the groups’ progress and offer help if needed. Step 3 Work on 4c 1.Ask each group to send a representative to present their chart to the class.The representative should explain the most popular free⁃time activities in the group and give the reasons. 2.After all groups finish the presentation,summarize the overall results of the class survey.
