第四部分写作(共40分)
第一节(满分15分)0 ne Possible Version:
Dear Lost.
Thank you for sharing your feelings. It's quite common for teenagers to feel stressed by high
expectations from parents, and you're not alone.
Parents often push hard because they care about your future, but sometimes their ways may
make you feel too stressed. Why not try writing down your thoughts to help them understand your
need for some free time? Also, you had better choose a calm moment to talk-start by thanking
them for their love, then explain how too much pressure affects you.Perhaps you could share your
own study plan with them to build trust.
Remember, good communication takes time.I am sure things will improve.
Yours,
Li Hua
第二节(满分25分)0 ne Possible Version:
Ms.Reynolds listened carefully,her expression thoughtful and kind."You know,"she said
softly, darkness can feel less scary if you fill it with light from within."She suggested a simple but
powerful idea:each night before sleep,Emma could whisper three things she was grateful for from
that day."It could be anything-a kind word,a good meal,a moment of laughter. This 'gratitude
practice'builds a coat of positive thoughts around you."She also gently encouraged Emma to share
this with her roommates.Emma nodded,a ray of hope lighting up inside her.
Following Ms.Reynolds'advice,Emma bega the "gratitude practice"that very night.Lying
in the dark, she whispered,"I'm grateful for my comfortable bed,for my roommate lending me her
notes, and for the stars I saw tonight."To her surprise, focusing on these good things made the heavy
fear a little lighter.Night after night, she continued. When she shyly invited her roommates to join,
they warmly agreed, sharing their own worries.Emma discovered she wasn't the only one feeling
uneasy at night. The shame she had felt began to be replaced by a sense of shared understanding.
She learned that courage wasn't the absence of fear, but the choice to find light-and that she didn't
have to find it alone

Text 1
W:Hi Justin, what do you think of life at senior high school?
M:Oh,hi Maggie.Well,it's OK,I guess. The one problem is that I just don't seem to have enough
time for everything. There are football games, the debate club, the school party...
Text 2
W:I'm going to buy something to eat from the restaurant downstairs.Would you like something to
eat?
M:Oh,yes, please.Could you order me some dim sum?
W:What kind of food is that?
M:It's a kind of traditional Chinese food from South China, including dumplings, spring rolls,
meatballs and so on.
Text 3
M:Hello,Betty.Jeff just called me.He said he broke his leg and couldn't make our trip to China
this week.
W:What a shame! He's been looking forward to it for ages. Why don't we wait until he's better?
M:He said we should go without him.It will take quite a while for him to get well again. He doesn't
want us to give up our holiday because of him.
Text 4
M:Madam, what can I do for you?
W:I'm trying to eat more healthily,so I'll just have a salad to start.
M:Sure. What kind of dressing would you like on that?
W:I won't have any dressing.
Text 5
W:Hey,Sawyer!Did you manage to get tickets for the film Zootopia 2?
M:Hi,Fangfang,I'm glad you phoned. You won't believe how lucky I was-the ticket was sold
out in thirty minutes!Yet I got tickets for both of us.
W:Amazing!When does it start?
M:It starts next Wednesday,November,26th and lasts for ten days.
Text 6
M:Learning a language takes work.Language learning apps can help motivate you.
W:Yeah, here in this program,Anderson and I will introduce you to several apps that help you learn
by building a regular habit.
M:Very right.Duolingo-The best language learning app for most people. Its generous free version
features engaging lessons that cover a variety of topics.
W:But no single language learning app is ideal for everyone.Babbel Live-This app puts a
textbook-like emphasis on grammar and offers one key feature that Duolingo doesn't:classes
with human instructors.
Text 7
W:William,what are your short-term and long-term goals?
M:Well,my short-term goal is to complete an online course in digital marketing by the end of this
year. It'll help me get a better job.
W:Nice!I'm planning to save enough money to travel to Paris next year. For the long term,I want
to start my own business in sustainable fashion.
3
M:Wow,sustainable fashion. How do you plan to achieve that?
W:I'm taking a business course and networking with industry professionals.I also want to gain
more experience by working in a related field first.
M:Great idea! For my long-term goal,I want to write a book.I'm starting by setting aside time
each day to write and joining a local writing group for feedback.
W:That's a solid plan.I think breaking down big goals into smaller steps makes them more
manageable.Good luck with your writing!
M:Thanks! And good luck with your trip and business.
Text 8
M:(Sadly)Hey,it's me...
W:Nathan?What's wrong?You sound upset.
M:I knew it...
W:Oh,no!I forgot,didn't I?Your concert was today,and I missed it!
M:It wasn't a concert.It was the school play.And yes,you missed it.
W:Nathan,I'm so sorry!I was really busy with work.Someone was off sick,so I had to do his
work
M:Couldn't you have asked someone else to do it?Iknow work is very important to you;it's just...
Everyone said I was really good in the play.I wanted you to see it,too.
W:I'm sorry I didn't make it,dear.You worked so hard on your part,and I'm so proud of you.I
should have been there.I promise I'll never do it again! Can you forgive me?
M:It's all right.I understand you're very busy.But you've worked somuchrecently.You need some
time off to relax.I don't like seeing you being so tired and pale.
W:I know, dear.Perhaps next week I could take a day off,and we could go to the countryside.
M:That sounds wonderful! We can go camping and have a picnic in the hills.
W:And we can really talk and catch up!
M:I'd love that!
W:OK,I'll talk to my manager about it.Bye for now!
M:Bye!Love you!
Text 9
W:Hey Leo,did you enjoy the zoo trip yesterday?
M:Yeah,it was fun!I loved seeing the tigers up close. The guide said their zoo has a specialprogram
to save them. That's really important, don't you think?
W:Hmm,I'm not so sure about that.I've read that animals in those programs can become too
dependent on humans.Sometimes they can't even survive if they're returned to the wild.
M:Well, you have to admit some programs do work. And besides, zoos are great for teaching people
about animals. It's like...killing two birds with one stone.
W:Oh,I totally agree we need to learn about animals! We share the planet with them, after all
M:Exactly! And in zoos,we can see them in places that look a lot like their natural homes.
W:Sorry, but I disagree. No zoo can be as good as the real wild.Think about elephants-they need
enormous space to be truly happy.Honestly,I sometimes feel zoos do more for our enjoyment
than for the animals'well-being.
M:That's a fair point...It's a really complicated issue,isn't it?
W:It really is.We all want to protect animals and learn about them. But maybe we need to think
about the best way to do that.

Text 10
W:My name's Marly.I'm from an Inuit village in the far north of Canada. Our lives are closely
connected to the natural world of the Arctic.Although we live in regular houses,we stay in
temporary shelters called"igloos"when we go hunting.Igloos are made of snow or ice.On the
one hand, they are quite warm inside and the building materials can be found everywhere. But
on the other, they can only be kept for around 50 days.We get our food from the nearby sea.
Eating a lot of fish and meat keeps our bodies strong so that we can fight the cold. But the
downside is that the cold weather makes it difficult for us to grow enough vegetables and fruit.
It's completely dark here for three months of the year, which is a period called"polar night".So,
life can sometimes be boring! But the good thing is,during that time the elders tell us stories
about our people. It gives us more time to be with our family and friends.Nowadays, ships bring
tourists to the Arctic. The advantage to this is that it brings more money and job opportunities,
but the disadvantage is that our environment is being polluted. One thing is for sure, though:no
matter how things change, our traditions will remain an important part of our lives.

Isn't IT really is we all want to protect the animals and learn about them, but maybe we need to think about the best way to do that. 听下面一段独白,回答第17至第24个小题。现在你有20秒钟的时间阅读这四个小题。My name is marley. I am from an innovate village in the far north of canada. Our lives are closely connected to the natural world of the arctic. Although we live in regular houses, we stay in temporary shelters called eagles. When we go hunting, equals are made of snow or ice. On the one hand, they are quite warm inside, and the building materials can be found everywhere, but on the other, they can only be kept for around fifty days. We get our food from the nearby sea. Eating a lot effient meat keeps our body strong so that we can fight the cold. But the downside is that the cold weather makes IT difficult for us to grow in our vegetables and fruit. It's completely dark here for three months of the year, which is a period called polar night. So life can sometimes be boring, but the good thing is, during that time, the elders tell us stories about our people. IT gives us more time to be with our family and friends. Nowadays, ships spring tourists to the arctic. The advantage to this is that IT brings more money and job opportunities, but the disadvantage is that our environment is being polluted. One thing is for sure, though, no matter how things change, our traditions will remain an important part of our lives. My name is marley. I am from an innovate village in the far north of canada. Cities in Africa Perfect for Solo Travel
Adventurous travelers usually have africa on their travel list. But as the second-largest
continent, unclear dreams of traveling to Africa won't cut it.You need to know which region
you're heading to,and how to get the most out of your trip.
Desert dreams:Merzouga,Morocco
You can easily explore the desert from Merzouga, which offers a range of deals for travelers
of all budgets. From Merzouga, you can day trip into the Sahara or go on a multi-day tour. Many
tours also allow you easy access to Berber camps-and Berber culture is incredibly charming.
Safari central:Kasane,Botswana
If safaris(观兽旅行)are you focus, head to Kasane,Botswana. This city is located on the
Four Corners',which makes it a great starting point for all of your safari adventures. And
because Kasane is in the center, you can easily expand your adventures into neighboring
countries and hit other landmarks, including the famous Victoria Falls.
Beachy atmospheres:Zanzibar,Tanzania
Zanzibar is the first location on my travel list.Over the last decade, the island has slowly
become a more popular tourist destination, which means you'll have plenty of familiar
construction, from bars to nightclubs. That being said,Zanzibar is also an ancient island. It's
been occupied for centuries by diverse forces, which have all left their cultural print.
Ancient history:Lalibela,Ethiopia
When it comes to ancient history,Egypt's ancient pyramids and Mali's Timbuktu are hard
to beat. But I'm a culture and history addict, which means Ethiopia's Lalibela is my official pick
for exploring history in Africa.

Alya Mono entered my life many years ago while living in Delhi. Our fathers were close
friends, and by some quiet magic,we became friends too.We spent much time together,
exchanging thoughts on culture, politics, education, and everything in between. Before she left
for Kyrgyzstan,we-Gen Z kids-didn't know when we'd meet next.
Two years passed without contact Then,by pure chance and surprise,I visited her in the
summer of 2025.Bishkek greeted me with fresh air and familiar warmth, but the day I spent with
Alya transformed the place from just another destination to something more. Our families had
first reunited in the mountains, where Alya and I shared an exciting horse-riding experience-

one day of open-hearted exchange. The landscape outside mirrored what I felt inside:unfamiliar,
but grounding.

In the era of globalization,Western fast food and processed food have swept the world, and
many traditional cuisines are facing the risk of being forgotten. Some people believe that
traditional food is outdated and cannot adapt to the fast-paced modern life, but in fact, traditional
food is not only a kind of nutrition but also a carrier of memories and culture, which is
irreplaceable for people and society.
Traditional food is closely linked to people's emotional memories. For settlers living abroad,
a bowl of hometown noodles or a plate of traditional cakes can relieve homesickness and make
them feel connected to their roots. For the elderly, the taste of traditional food reminds them of
their youth and family gatherings. These emotional connections cannot be replaced by fast food.
Moreover, traditional food contains the wisdom of ancestors in adapting to the local
environment. For example, the spicy cuisine in Sichuan,China, helps people get rid of dampness,
which is a dietary solution formed by people over a long period of time.
In addition, traditional food plays a primary role in inheriting()culturalheritage.Every
traditional dish has its own production techniques and cultural meanings.Making dumplings
during the Spring Festival in China and making mooncakes during the Mid-Autumn Festival
both carry unique cultural meanings. These dietary customs strengthen people's sense of identity
and belonging to their own culture. When people pass on the production methods of traditional
food to the next generation, they are also passing on cultural traditions and values.
To protect traditional food, governments can support local inheritors, schools can carry out
food culture courses, and media can promote traditional cuisines. In the process of seeking a
modern life,we should not desert traditional food.Instead,we should mix it into daily life,so
that it can continue to pass on and shine with new energy.
32.What is the author's main argument about traditional food?
A.It has been forgotten due to globalization.
B.It holds necessary value beyond nutrition.
C.It has been well received across the world.
D.It needs to be updated for modern lifestyles.
33.What's the deeper significance of passing on food-making skills?
A.It delivers cultural customs and ideals.
B.It improves family's cooking efficiency.
C.It is a way to teach healthy eating habits.
D.It helps people adapt to local environments.
34.What is the author's attitude towards the future of traditional food?
A.Critical
B.Doubtful.
C.Favorable.
D.Tolerant.
35.How does the text develop?
A.Phenomenon-Analysis-Summary
B.Explanation-Exploration-Expectation
C.Introduction-Function-Suggestion
D.Classification-Discussion-Conclusion

Eye movement registration,or eye tracking,records where a person looks during a task.As
it works in real time,it can show details of learners'attention and mental processing while they
perform tasks.36 The real-time data from eye tracking has become very useful in the
field of instructed second language acquisition (ISLA),a key development in the wider study of
second language acquisition (SLA).It was not until around 2010 that ISLA researchers noticed
the value of eye-tracking technology.
A study introduces a briefhistory of eyetracking in SLA,dividing it into three main periods:
early research on bilinguals (1997 to present),eye tracking as a tool for studying language
learning(2010 to present),and the turn to practical, remote and wearable eye tracking(2018 to
present).37.
The first period provides basic foundations, while the other two are the main focus here,as
they show key progress in ISLA.From 2010 on,eye tracking has become an important tool for
ISLA research.Researchers used it to study how learners deal with grammar rules, new words
and practical language use during leaming. For example,a study found that second language
learners spend more time looking at unknown words in a passage.38 This shows these
words need more mental effort.
39 Traditional lab equipment was large and made learning situations unnatural.
Now,remote and wearable devices let researchers collect data in real classrooms.Such
research in real settings makes findings more useful for actual teaching. They can observe how
learners use textbooks, whiteboards and screens in real lessons.40 Such real data helps
connect theory with real teaching, offering useful guidance for language teachers.
A.Since 2018,eye-tracking research has become more practical.
B.These devices are much cheaper than the traditional ones used in labs.
C.This kind of focus often links to difficulties in understanding new words.
D.Each period reflects big improvements in both technology and research focuses
E.Before that, most SLA studies used test scores and self-reports to judge learning results
F.It helps observe exactly where, when and how long learners look at language information
G.This real-time advantage makes it different from old methods that only record final results.

Emma had always been a cheerful and active girl, happy in the familiar surroundings of her
home. However, beginning her life at boarding high school brought a new and unexpected
challenge.A rule was that lights must be turned off at 10:30 p.m.,throwing the unfamiliar
dormitory (into complete darkness, unlike her comfortable bedroom at home. Here, the
nights were very quiet, sometimes broken only by soft sounds from outside or the small noises of
the old building. Each night,Emma lay very still in her bed, feeling nervous, her mind turning
shadows into unclear but scary shapes. This quiet struggle left her continuously tired, and the joy
in her eyes slowly grew less bright under the weight of built-up tiredness.
The clear effect on her daily life soon showed, especially in her history class.Ms.Reynolds,
a caring and observant teacher, noticed the big change in her usually lively and talkative student.
During a group discussion,Emma, who would normally join in happily, sat staring blankly. When
Ms.Reynolds gently called her name,Emma seemed lost and struggled to find her words, her
face turning red.Concerned,Ms.Reynolds spoke to her after class."Emma, you seem like your
thoughts are elsewhere. Is everything okay?"she asked, her voice full of real care.Emma only
gave a slight smile and a quick nod before leaving.
One afternoon,Ms.Reynolds found Emma alone in the empty classroom and looking out
at the window covered with rain with a faraway look.Ms.Reynolds sat beside her and created
a kind and patient space, which finally made Emma feel safe enough to speak. With tears in eyes,
Emma shared her fears-the strong fear that took hold of her each night, the feeling of being
alone even with others nearby, and the shame of being troubled by what she saw as a childish
fear while trying to handle high school life. She felt completely alone in this fight.
