family skating events. We host recreational hockey leagues for ages 6 years right up to adult.

Learn to Skate

This Learn to Skate Program is designed to introduce your child to the wonderful sport of ice skating in a fun and positive environment! Helmet and skate rentals available at an additional cost. Whether you are inexperienced or advanced, ages 3yrs+ are welcome to participate in our programs.

Hockey Programs

Arena Rentals

Looking to book ice or dry floor time at your local arena? Email arenarentals@surrey.ca with your request details and questions. Most are open for sign-up 72 hours in advance. Payment can be made by check or in cash at the time of visiting recreation facilities.

*All City of Surrey Learn to Skate and Hockey program participants are required to wear a CSA-Certified hockey helmet or snowboard helmet. This includes parents in parent participation classes. Helmets are mandatory for all children 12 and under during public sessions. All participants 13 years and older are strongly recommended to wear a CSA helmet while on the ice during public sessions.
