①【辨析】lend与borrow
(1)lend表示借出,即把某物借给别人,可以接双
宾语,即“lend sb sth”的结构。表示“把某物借给某
人”时,用“lend sth to sb”。
(2)borrow表示借入,即从别人那里借某物。表
示“向某人借某物”时,用“borrow sth from sb”。
②【辨析】turn off,turn on,turn down与turn up
(1)turn off意为“关上;关掉;切断”。

(2)turn on意为“打开;接通”。

(3)turn down意为“关小;调低”。
