And last January, people found a 127-year-old bigmouth buffalo in Canada. Now, scientists found that two more buffalo fish species (种)—the smallmouth buffalo and the black buffalo—can live more than a hundred years. Abdusamat loved to explore (探险) as a kid, but he didn’t really have time for that. After finishing high school in 2021, he worked in a factory. Through television and the Internet, he saw many hikers on the road. That’s when he decided to go out and explore the outside world.
In April 2022, he left his job and started the Taklimakan Desert trip with his brother, who is 10 years older than him. The journey was hard and it took five months. Yet, during the trip, he learned many life skills from his brother. Also, during the trip, Abdusamat had a larger hiking plan: to walk from Kashgar to Beijing, alone.
“I shared the plan with my brother one night in the desert,” and he said to me, “If you have an idea, just go for it.” On February 7,2023, Abdusamat set out on his journey with his dog Shunfeng. It made the long journey much easier and happier for him. However, both Abdusamat and his dog faced health problems during the trip. Fortunately, he met many kind-hearted people who offered him help in every place he went. Abdusamat planned to arrive in Beijing before October 1, but he didn’t reach Beijing until November 15.
The journey has opened Abdusamat’s eyes and made him see the beauty of China. It has also changed him from a shy person to an outgoing person. “I believe I can achieve anything as long as I put my mind to it,” Abdusamat said.

例文
Hello, I am Lihua. I am glad to introduce myself today.
I love animals very much and I always call for protecting wildlife, because they are our close friends. Music is my favorite too—listening to songs, which helps me relax after a long day of study. Traveling is another hobby.
Last summer, I visited the West Lake: its clean water and nice flowers let me enjoy nature’s beauty. I also read many books; they bring me joy and more useful knowledge. In my free time, I do volunteer work and donate old items to people in need. These activities make my life really meaningful.
