Many people love to listen to music while they are driving. Thanks to musical roads, they can now enjoy music when taking road trips without the radio on.
A musical road can create music when a car’s tyre (轮胎) goes over grooves (凹槽) on the road. To produce beautiful music, drivers must pass over the grooves at a certain speed. Signs often tell drivers the right speed.
The first musical road was created in Gylling, Denmark, in 1995. Since the mid-1990s, musical roads have appeared (出现) in many different countries. For example, in Japan, there are many musical roads throughout the country. To alert (使意识到) drivers to the incoming music, the roads are painted with colored musical notes. Drivers can decide whether to go over the grooves or not because they are set on the side of the road.
In Hungary, there is a musical road in honor of one of the country’s most popular musical performers—Laszlo Bodi. Bodi was the lead singer for the band Republic. Formed in 1990, the group is one of Hungary’s biggest acts and is still active today. Sadly, Bodi passed away (去世) in 2013. But people still remember him as there’s a road where drivers can hear 30 seconds of the Republic song Road 67.
Musical roads are also keeping drivers safe. In Indonesia, a road plays the first six notes of Happy Birthday. The fifth note is a little out of tune (走调). This “mistake” keeps drivers awake. It has reduced the number of traffic accidents. Such is the power of music and musical roads.
28. What must drivers do to produce beautiful music on a musical road?
A. Drive over the grooves at any speed.
B Drive over the grooves at a certain speed.
C. Drive over the grooves while listening to the radio.
29. Why are musical roads painted with colored musical notes in Japan?
A. To make the road more attractive.
B. To help drivers avoid the grooves.
C. To alert drivers to the incoming music.
30. Which of the following songs can drivers hear on the musical road in Hungary?
A Starlight. B. Road 67. C. Happy Birthday.
31. What is the best title for the passage?
A. Musical Roads Around the World
B. How Musical Roads Help Drivers Stay Safe
C. Famous Musicians Honored by Musical Roads

第一节(共5小题,每小题2分,满分10分)
Have you ever done something that felt familiar, even though you knew you hadn’t? This feeling is known as déjà vu, a French term meaning “already seen”.
It is said that most people have experienced déjà vu at least once in their lives. But why does it happen? 人们研究这个问题已经有一个多世纪了。There are now a number of interesting theories about déjà vu. Some people believe the familiar scenes of déjà vu must come from past dreams. And some suggest that déjà vu might show we have a hidden power to see the future. Others even think there could be a link between déjà vu and parallel universes. However, most scientists say that déjà vu is just a mix-up in the brain, making us feel something is familiar when it is actually not.
Generally speaking, if you experience déjà vu from time to time, there is no need to worry about it. However, if it happens often, you might have a health problem, and you should see a doctor.
Déjà vu, whether it is a trick of the mind or a window into the past or future, remains one of the many fascinating unsolved mysteries of human experience.

B. Drive over the grooves at a certain speed.
A. Starlight. B. Road 67. C. Happy Birthday.
