An Unforgettable Rainstorm
I went to the park with my friends last Sunday. We were having a picnic when the sky suddenly turned dark.
Suddenly, a heavy rainstorm started. We saw strong winds blowing leaves and branches everywhere, and we heard loud thunder booming overhead. We ran away from the open picnic area to a nearby pavilion.
When we got there, we saw that many small tents and flower beds in the park were damaged by the storm.
Luckily, we found shelter in time, so we didn’t get caught in the heavy rain and stayed safe. It was a frightening but memorable experience.
