I. Lead-in: 1. Watch a video about Dunhuang National Geopark(地质公园). 2. Read the text and analyze the function of underlined parts. Picture a land where wind and water have sculpted the earth into breathtaking shapes for millions of years. This is Dunhuang National Geopark. Exploring this land feels like walking through a giant, open-air art gallery. Alongside with these natural wonders, ancient caves hide colorful art, telling tales of the old Silk Road. Witnessing the meeting of golden dunes(沙丘) and human history is a truly unforgettable experience. The desert not only creates amazing landscapes but also protects a rich cultural heritage, making it a unique treasure for all of us to appreciate. Observe and discover The exploration of Dunhuang National Geopark is divided into 3 parts: The charm of the park, the challenges it faces and advice on preservation. 1.
