B3U3 词汇与语法复习(太空探索主题) Review of vocabulary
教学课时
第 1 课时
教学目标
At the end of this class, students can
1. Master the word formation and key usage of core vocabulary such as explore, launch, and orbit, and understand sentence structures like the absolute construction and the "quantifier/noun + of + relative pronoun" attributive clause.
2. Apply the reviewed language knowledge to comprehend passages and produce sentences related to the theme of space exploration.
3. Enhance their ability to build vocabulary networks and summarize grammar through collaboration and independent inquiry, while fostering interest in space exploration and interdisciplinary thinking.
教学
重难点
1. Help students master the derivative relationships of key vocabulary and the composition and function of the two core sentence structures.
2. Guide the students to correctly and appropriately use the absolute construction and understand and apply the complex attributive clause to describe partial or possessive relationships of antecedents in their own output.
教学方法
Lecture method
Situational teaching method
学情分析
Prior to this class, students have acquired basic principles of word formation. This lesson aims to leverage that knowledge by encouraging associative learning—linking familiar structures to new review content. The primary goal is to solidify students' grasp of fundamental expressions, which is crucial for practical application in writing. A parallel goal is to develop their contextual awareness, training them to mentally pair expressions with situations where they would be appropriately used.
