◇Part 01
(2025·浙江·中考真题)It was very dark outside. I heated the food in the kitchen again, but my dad still didn’t come back from the forest. He worked as a forest ranger (护林员). In the morning, he told me he would go to check the new small trees and that I didn’t need to wait for him for dinner. But now, the wind was blowing hard and making a loud noise, like an animal. I stood at the door and called him, but he didn’t answer.
“I can’t wait any longer,” I thought. I took a flashlight from the corner and went out. The light showed me the way, but the shadows of the trees looked scary, like claws. I held the flashlight more tightly. I was worried that Dad might be lost or in trouble, so I walked into the forest slowly.
The wind blew harder, and the leaves made noise. I was scared and kept looking back, but I saw nothing. The flashlight was dying. Just then, I heard someone shout, “Xiaoyu? Is that you?”
It was Dad! I shouted, “Dad! I’m here!” I saw the light move, and then I saw his orange ranger clothes. I ran to him and jumped into his arms. I could smell the pine on him, and I almost cried. “Son, why are you here?” Dad asked. Dad’s hands were cold, but he hugged me hard. “My phone stopped working. I was on my way home.” I put my face against his coat. Listening to his heartbeat, I felt safe again.
1.Why did the writer go into the forest with a flashlight at night?
A.To look for the newly planted trees. B.To search for his dad.
C.To check the forest as a ranger. D.To find his lost phone.
2.What is the correct order of the writer’s experience?
①He heard his father’s call. ②He took a flashlight and entered the forest.
③He felt scared but kept moving forward. ④He ran to his father and hugged him.
A.①②③④ B.②①④③ C.②③①④ D.③②①④
3.How did the writer most probably feel when he saw his father?
A.Angry. B.Excited. C.Afraid. D.Sad.
4.What can we learn from the passage?
A.He loved his father deeply. B.He often got lost in the forest.
C.He disliked his father’s job. D.His father didn’t care about his safety.
【答案】1.B 2.C 3.B 4.A
根据“but my dad still didn’t come back from the forest”及“But now, the wind was blowing hard and making a loud noise, like an animal. I stood at the door and called him, but he didn’t answer.”
根据“I took a flashlight from the corner and went out.”“I was scared and kept looking back, but I saw nothing.”“Just then, I heard someone shout”以及“I ran to him and jumped into his arms.”
根据“I ran to him and jumped into his arms…and I almost cried”可知,作者看到父亲时情绪很激动,故选B。
Last summer, I went camping with my classmates in the mountains. We left school at 7:00 a.m. by bus. After two hours, we arrived at the campsite. The guide showed us how to put up tents. In the afternoon, we went hiking...
Question:When did the students arrive at the campsite?
A. At 7:00 a.m. B. At 9:00 a.m. C. At 12:00 p.m. D. At 5:00 p.m.
[解析]叙事语体中 “after two hours” 明确衔接 “left at 7:00 a.m.”,通过时间线索定位可得答案 B。
My best friend Bill... brought some green cakes to school... His father especially loves watermelons... They always throw away the skins... Bill saw the cleaner working hard...
Question:What did Bill do to help the environment?
A. He ate fewer watermelons. B. He made cakes with watermelon skins.
C. He helped the cleaner carry rubbish. D. He taught his father to save food.
题干以 “Why...?”“What caused...?”
Lisa was late for school that morning. Her alarm clock didn't work, and she missed the school bus. She had to run to the bus stop, but it was too late...
Question:Why was Lisa late for school?
A. She got up early. B. Her alarm clock didn't ring.
C. She didn't like school. D. She met a traffic accident.
[解析]文本通过 “Her alarm clock didn't work” 直接说明迟到原因,答案为 B。
The old man in the story wore a red coat and carried a bag full of books. He often visited the local library...
Question:The old man carried a bag filled with ______.
A. clothes B. toys C. books D. food
[解析]原文明确指出 “a bag full of books”,答案为 C。
Although wuxia is a special part of Chinese culture, the core spirit of pursuing freedom and justice is generally accepted by people all over the world,” Lily Lee... told China Daily.
Question:Which is a reason for wuxia’s popularity?
A. People want to change lifestyles.
B. Its core spirit is widely accepted.
C. It’s different from xianxia.
D. Economic conditions support it.
Teenagers need 8-10 hours of sleep per night. A survey shows 60% of students sleep only 6-7 hours, and 20% sleep less than 6 hours.
Question:What percentage of students sleep enough?
A. 20% B. 40% C. 60% D. 80%
The new energy car factory in City A produces 500 vehicles per month, but due to the growing demand, the factory plans to expand its production line next year.
Question:What can we infer from the passage?
A. The factory will stop production this year.
B. The current production meets the market demand.
C. The factory will increase production in the future.
D. The factory has financial difficulties.
[解析]文中 “due to the growing demand” 和 “plans to expand its production line” 表明市场需求增长促使工厂计划扩大生产线,由此可合理推断未来产量将增加,选项 C 正确。
Product A: Lightweight design, suitable for outdoor activities, priced at $50.
Product B: With advanced waterproof technology, ideal for rainy days, priced at $80.
Product C: Foldable structure, convenient for storage, priced at $60.
Question:Match the products with their features and prices correctly.
Product
Feature
Price
A
Lightweight
$50
B
Foldable
$80
C
Waterproof
$60
Our new library is open from Tuesday to Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Borrowing service is available during these hours.
Additionally, students need to bring their student ID cards when borrowing books.
For more information, please contact the library desk at 8765 - 4321.
Question:When can students borrow books?
A. Monday morning B. Wednesday afternoon C. Friday evening D. Sunday morning
[解析]实用语体中 “open from... to...”
Pilar is an environmental enthusiast. He writes articles about nature, aiming to raise people's awareness of environmental protection, and publishes them on his personal website.
Sarah was deeply influenced by a school talk about nature. Since then, she has developed a strong love for birds and often participates in bird - watching activities.
Lia has a passion for wildlife. She travels to various natural habitats, takes photos of wildlife, and shares these precious moments with her friends on social media.
Question:What does Lia show her friends?
A. Videos B. Magazines C. Photos D. Collections
Activity 1: Calligraphy Class
Time: 2:00 - 4:00 p.m., Saturday
Place: Community Center Room 301
Instructor: Mr. Wang, a famous local calligrapher
Fee: Free
Activity 2: English Corner
Time: 3:00 - 5:00 p.m., Sunday
Place: Community Garden
Organizer: The Community English Club
Fee: 10 yuan per person
Question:What can we infer from the poster?
A. Both activities are held indoors.
B. People can learn calligraphy for free.
C. Mr. Wang is in charge of the English Corner.
D. The English Corner is more popular than the calligraphy class.
例如在描述一次校园旅行的记叙文中,抓住 "At 8:30 a.m., the students gathered at the school gate" 等时间表述,能迅速定位事件的先后顺序。
According to research, 75% of students use electronic devices for over 3 hours daily, leading to eye strain" 一句中,数据与因果词共同构建起严谨的论证结构。
例如题目中出现 "Who won the first prize in the speech contest?",可直接通过 "first prize" 在文中搜索获奖名单段落。
同义替换词识别:命题人常通过词汇改写设置思维障碍,考生需掌握词根词缀(如 happy→happiness)、语境联想(如 "last 90 minutes"→"run for an hour and a half")等技巧破解替换陷阱。例如原文描述 "The concert endured for two hours",选项可能表述为 "The musical event lasted 120 minutes",需通过时间换算建立语义关联。
例如原文为 "Most students lack sufficient sleep",选项 "All students have sleep problems" 则因绝对化表述错误。

Hello, I’m Liz Pichon. I write and draw the Tom Gates books. When I was a kid, I loved making and drawing things. My latest book, Tom Gates: Book of everything, is full of interesting stories and fun activities, including this game, which is so simple to make and play. You can make your birds “fly” towards their home. Challenge yourself with a timer (计时器) or play with your friends and family. The first one to land their bird on “home” wins the game—but no using your hands!
Step 1 Trace (描摹) this bird onto another piece of paper or create your own bird.
Step 2 After drawing your bird, you can color it. Give it rainbow-colored feathers like a colorful parrot if you want. Then fold (折叠) the paper in half.
Step 3 Carefully cut around the line of your bird with scissors. Once you’re done, it’ll be ready to “fly”.
Step 4 Draw a tree on another piece of paper. Put it on the floor or table—this represents home. Pick up the straw (吸管) to blow with, and you are ready to start your game.
1.How many steps do you need to make your bird “fly”?
A.Two. B.Three. C.Four. D.Five.
2.What can we know from the passage?
A.colorful paper and knives are needed.
B.It is not so difficult to make and play the game.
C.You can use your hands to help the bird fly home.
D.You have to create your own bird instead of tracing one.
3.What’s the purpose of this passage?
A.To tell you a fun story.
B.To introduce an interesting game.
C.To teach you how to draw and color a bird.
D.To recommend the book Tom Gates: Book of everything.

①One morning, I got up early and decided to make an apple pie for my mum. I called my grandma for help, followed a TV program to make jam and waited excitedly. I enjoyed every step so much that I didn’t notice three hours pass by. Although the pie looked terrible and was not that delicious, Mum ate it up and told me it was the best pie that she had ever had. For the first time, I realized that although I didn’t make the pie successfully, I really enjoyed the process (过程).
②The process is important because it brings us something bigger than the result itself. That is, we always have new experiences during the process, which may help us improve our skills or form good relationships with others. If we just concentrate on the result and do not enjoy the process, we will be more likely to feel disappointed and want to give up. As a result, we will never understand the real meaning of success.
③ But in this busy world, we see a lot of successful people are in competition. How can we enjoy the process? Well, the question has the answer in itself.
④ Don’t always compare yourself with others. First of all, we are all different. And success means different things to us. For some, success means being famous, while for others, it may be health or power. Ride your own ride.
⑤ Slow down. You need to stop expecting immediate results in what you do and learn to be patient. Impatience leads to unhappiness. Do it slowly, but never stop.
⑥Reward (奖励) yourself. Divide the process into small steps, and give yourself a reward after completing each of them. Rewarding yourself for small wins can go a long way. For example, if you are in the process of losing weight, enjoy your favourite cake once in a while.
1.How does the writer start the article?
A.By giving an example. B.By comparing facts.
C.By using old sayings. D.By listing numbers.
2.What do the underlined words “concentrate on” mean in paragraph 2?
A.Make up. B.Get ready for. C.Point out. D.Pay attention to.
3.Which of the following best shows the structure of the text? (①= paragraph 1,…)
A. B.
C. D.
4.Which could be the best title for the text?
A.Enjoy the Process B.What Does Success Mean to Us?
C.Never Give Up D.How Can We Achieve Good Results?
5.How can we enjoy the process?
A.Don’t always compare yourself with others. B.Slow down.
C.Reward (奖励) yourself. D.All of the above.

Do you love gardening, but you don’t have a yard? If that’s the case, consider container (容器) gardening. This method involves growing plants in pots and containers rather than in the ground. Container gardening is a great way to grow flowers, vegetables, fruit trees and more. There are many advantages to this gardening method.
To begin with, you don’t need much space. Any outdoor area that receives direct sunlight will work. In fact, a sunny, indoor kitchen windowsill (窗台) is perfect for a few small plants. This makes you easily reach for vegetables as you prepare meals. The key is to choose a place that receives plenty of sunlight.
Unless they’re too big or heavy, containers are portable. This allows you to move your plants inside if necessary. Or you can move your plants into a dark place on terribly hot days. Containers allow you to place your plants wherever they’ll grow best.
With containers, you’re almost certain to fill them with rich earth. Using a good bag of potting earth that contains the necessary nutrients (营养物质) for your plants is best. Here’s an important tip: Large containers can get heavy once they’ve been filled. So it’s best to place them where you want them before filling them.
One of the greatest advantages of container gardening is that little or no weeding (除草) is required. For plants in the ground, weeding is sometimes a daily or weekly requirement.
People also love the fact that almost anything can be used as a container. You don’t need expensive pots for containers. Wooden boxes, plastic cups, cans, old shoes and more will work. Just be sure to make holes in the bottom of your containers for proper drainage (排水).
1.If a person wants to start container gardening, what should they do first?
A.Buy expensive pots. B.Choose a proper location.
C.Grow plants at once. D.Fill containers with water.
2.What does the underlined word “portable” in Paragraph 3 probably mean?
A.Easy to move. B.Hard to find.
C.Expensive to buy. D.Difficult to carry.
3.How does the writer show us one of the advantages of container gardening in Paragraph 5?
A.By telling a story. B.By listing numbers.
C.By giving advice. D.By making comparison.
4.What is the main idea of the text?
A.The steps of container gardening. B.The plants for container gardening.
C.The history of container gardening. D.The advantages of container gardening.

Scientists believe the Earth is 4.6 billion years old. However, the mountains, valleys (山谷), hills, rivers, deserts and forests we see today are much younger than that. Changes happen all the time.
The Earth is always changing because of volcanoes (火山), earthquakes and of course, wind and rain. Some of these changes are very slow and others are quick. Water and ice can make very great changes to the planet. For example, rivers of ice can cut through mountains and make lakes, and deep valleys. Many volcanoes are under the oceans and sometimes they become new islands. This is happening in the South Pacific.
It’s normal for our planet to change, but at the moment, scientists think it’s changing faster than usual. According to the research, the sea level will continue to rise in the next hundred years. As a result, many cities will possibly be covered by water and much of the most productive farming areas will be lost. Some island countries are likely to disappear on the map of the world.
These changes will bring great harm to the planet. However, they can be beneficial (有好处的) to some people. For example, as the Arctic (北极) is getting warmer, some people in Greenland now own businesses and sell vegetables they grow on their land.
1.How does the writer describe the changes of the Earth in Paragraph 2?
A.By giving examples. B.By comparing things.
C.By telling stories. D.By listing numbers.
2.What does the writer mainly tell in Paragraph 3?
A.The age of the Earth. B.Problems for the planet.
C.Changes are good for farming. D.Influences on the mountains.
3.What does the underlined word “they” refer to?
A.The Arctic. B.The planet. C.The weather. D.The changes.
4.In which column of the newspaper can we most probably find this text?
A.Art. B.Advertisement. C.Business. D.Environment.

She was a four-year-old girl with very fine golden hair. When I first met her, she was handing me a bowl of soup. I was suffering from the flu.
Her mom and I had been friends for many years. Finally, that friendship grew into care, from care into love and marriage. Marriage brought the three of us together as a family. At first, I was afraid to be a stepfather. However, as she was growing up, I found it increasingly hard to communicate with her.
Once, her school required every parent to write an open and honest letter to the children. I wrote a letter about the little golden-haired girl who had brought me a bowl of soup when I needed care.
A week later, the students were allowed to make a few speeches to the parents. I was anxious to hear what my daughter would say. Finally, my daughter made her way up to the microphone. “At this very moment, I just want to say... I love you, Father!” Immediately, people around me started smiling at me. For a teenage girl to say openly in the front of a room full of people, “I love you”, took a great deal of courage. Since then, I have come to understand that I didn’t need to have any fear about being a stepfather.
1.When did the girl bring the soup to the writer?
A.When he was four. B.When he was ill.
C.After she grew up. D.After she got the letter.
2.What was the relationship between the girl and the writer?
A.Pen friends. B.Wife and husband.
C.Girlfriend and boyfriend. D.Stepdaughter and stepfather.
3.Which word is the closest in meaning to “anxious” in Paragraph 4?
A.Unexpected. B.Surprised. C.Worried. D.Afraid.
4.What do we learn from this story?
A.True love will make people close.
B.Friendship can grow into marriage.
C.Don’t be afraid to be a stepfather.
D.We need courage to say “I love you”.

In China, tea is one of the seven most important things for daily life, along with firewood, rice, oil, salt, sauce, and vinegar. Today, tea is not just a Chinese tradition—it has become a special part of culture shared by people all over the world.
On Nov. 29, Chinese traditional tea processing skills and their related social practices were added to the UNESCO intangible cultural heritage (非物质文化遗产) list. Since ancient times, Chinese people have been planting, picking, making and drinking tea.
More importantly, China’s tea culture has formed Chinese customs. It is the Chinese traditional custom that a host should welcome visiting guests with boiled tea. A poem by Song poet Du Lei reads, “I offer tea, not wine to a guest on a cold night. When water boils on the stove, fire burns with flame bright.”
Boiling tea is one of China’s oldest ways to make tea. It started in the Tang Dynasty (618-907). People would boil tea leaves for a long time, sometimes even mixing them with herbs or fruits. This slow process let them enjoy peaceful moments. Later, during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), a faster method became popular—steeping (冲泡). This meant people just poured hot water over tea leaves—and waited a few minutes, making tea easier to prepare.
▲ On the app Xiaohongshu, or Little Red Book, there are over 40,000 posts on the topic of “stove-boiled tea” (围炉煮茶). They lightly roast tea leaves before boiling them in a teapot on a stove. People sit around the stove in a natural setting and have snacks with their hot tea. Some also wear traditional hanfu as if it could take them back to those ancient times. Through “stove-boiled tea”, people can taste a slower life and find a sense of calm. According to a Xiaohongshu post, “It is very relaxing to drink hot tea, feel the fall breeze, and chat with best friends.”
1.What does the writer want to tell us through Du Lei’s poem?
A.It was very cold in winter. B.Tea was easier to boil than wine.
C.Tea was less expensive than wine. D.It was a custom to welcome friends with tea.
2.Why did the steeping method become popular during the Ming Dynasty?
A.It is one of China’s oldest ways to make tea. B.It was quicker and easier to prepare.
C.It provided better health benefits. D.It required special herbs and fruits.
3.Which sentence is the most suitable for the blank ▲ in the last paragraph?
A.Let’s try the old method of boiling tea in spare time.
B.These days, people are using the old methods again.
C.Chinese invented many different ways of drinking tea.
D.Therefore, it is a good choice to drink tea with friends.
4.What’s the writer’s purpose of this passage?
A.To call on people to learn more about Chinese traditional tea.
B.To invite more and more people around the world to visit China.
C.To introduce a popular way of making tea, “stove-boiled tea”.
D.To show how popular and interesting the app Xiaohongshu is.

The Iron Age started about 3,200 years ago and lasted for around 1,000 years, depending on the area. During the Iron Age, people began using iron tools and weapons instead of bronze (铜) ones.
Tools
Iron tools allowed farmers and builders to work better. They were able to grow more crops, clear land for farms, and build bigger buildings.
Weapons
Iron weapons were lighter and cheaper to make than weapons made from bronze. Well-made iron weapons were also stronger and sharper than bronze ones. Having good weapons meant societies could build powerful armies.
Making iron
Making iron objects is a process that needs great skill and care. The iron must be made very hot before it can be shaped into a weapon or a tool. How we shape iron today is similar to how iron age craftsmen performed the task.
1. Dig it out. Iron is dug from the ground in lumps, called iron ore (矿石).
2. Heat it up. The iron ore is heated to high temperatures to make it melt.
3. Pour it in. The melted iron is poured into a shaped mold and left to cool.
1.How long did the Iron Age last?
A.Over 4,200 years. B.About 3,200 years.
C.About 2,200 years. D.Around 1,000 years.
2.What can we learn from the text?
A.Iron tools helped people work better than before.
B.It was lighter and cheaper to make bronze weapons.
C.The process of making iron objects needs little skill.
D.The first step to shape iron is to heat up the iron ore.
3.In which part of the magazine can we read the text?
A.Story Time. B.Art and Music. C.History. D.Sports News.

I still remember the last day of my high school military training (军训). I sat down on my bed—and CRACK! The wooden bed board broke in half! My face turned tomato red as I sat in the middle of the mess.
Well, that bed was not strong enough, clearly, but I was also too heavy. At 1.72 m, 95 kg. I never liked exercise. I spent all my time at my desk either doing homework or reading books. To make matters worse, my parents often cooked meat-heavy meals for me. They hoped I’d become muscular But instead of hearing “Wow!” from everyone, all I heard were chairs and beds making funny noises!
Now, I’m afraid more beds and chairs might be the same. Over half of adults and nearly one in five school children in China are overweight. Many people say they don’t have time to exercise. They are also ordering more takeout food and eating too much without realizing it.
But as I always say, being busy is no excuse for not exercising. After breaking that bed, I knew I had to change. I didn’t have time for the gym, so I made small changes in my daily life. Sometimes, I ride my bike for ten kilometers to get home after work. Other times, I get off the bus early and walk the rest of the way. I also eat healthy food, more vegetables and less junk food. Guess what? I’m now 21 kilograms lighter than my high school self! I no longer have to worry about breaking a bed when I travel!
Are you overweight like I once was? Maybe it’s time to change your habits. Don’t wait until you break a bed!
1.How does the writer lead into the topic at the beginning of the passage?
A.By sharing an experience. B.By asking a question.
C.By listing some numbers. D.By showing a picture.
2.What can we know from the second paragraph?
A.The exercise I do every day. B.The time when I exercise.
C.The things I broke at home. D.The reason why I am overweight.
3.How many small changes did the writer mention in the fourth paragraph?
A.Two. B.Three. C.Four. D.Five.
4.What is the writer’s purpose by writing the last paragraph?
A.To introduce people some healthy habits.
B.To show people how healthy his habit is.
C.To advise overweight people to exercise at once.
D.To let more people know the importance of exercising.

【答案】1.A 2.B 3.D 4.D

A.Let’s try the old method of boiling tea in spare time.
B.These days, people are using the old methods again.
C.Chinese invented many different ways of drinking tea.
D.Therefore, it is a good choice to drink tea with friends.
4.What’s the writer’s purpose of this passage?

A.Two. B.Three. C.Four. D.Five.

A.To introduce people some healthy habits.

C.To advise overweight people to exercise at once.
D.To let more people know the importance of exercising.
