三、范文背诵
Dear Tom,
I’m writing to share with you an unforgettable first-aid experience that I had last month.
Last Friday afternoon, my classmate Mike suddenly fell down while playing basketball on the playground. I ran to him at once and found that his left ankle was swollen badly and he was in great pain. Remembering what I had learned in the first-aid class, I asked him not to move his ankle. Then I took out a bottle of cold water from my schoolbag and applied it to his swollen ankle to reduce the pain and swelling. Ten minutes later, I helped him to stand up slowly and walked him to the school clinic with another classmate. The doctor praised me for my proper first-aid measures, saying that my timely help prevented his injury from getting worse.
This experience made me deeply understand the importance of first-aid knowledge. It is a skill that everyone should master. I sincerely hope that you can also learn some basic first-aid skills to deal with unexpected emergencies.
Yours,
Li Hua
