At first, they pretend (假扮) to be Monk Tang Sanzang and his followers on the road to get scriptures (经文). But after fighting other monsters and saving people, they discover who they truly are. The hardest test comes when some children are caught by a terrible monster. To save them, the little four monsters give up their powers. They know this might make them weak, but they still decide to fight. They want to be their best selves by being brave and kind, even when it’s dangerous. The monsters aren’t perfect—they can be lazy and scared. But when it’s needed, they choose kindness over fear. The real lesson of their journey is not about becoming great or living forever, but about caring for others. In the end, Sun Wukong shows up. He gives the monsters four of his hairs as a symbol of respect. It shows that even little monsters can be seen if they keep kindness in their hearts. Everyone has a “little monster” inside—small and easy to forget, but able to know what’s right. It might fail or get hurt, but as long as it stays kind, it will grow stronger and start its own adventure someday. 42. What do the four little monsters do at the beginning of the story? A. They fight against a monster to save children. B. They receive Sun Wukong’s hairs as a gift. C. They give up their powers to help others. D. They dress up as Monk Tang Sanzang and his followers. 43. Why do the little monsters give up their powers? A. Because they want to become weaker and avoid fighting. B. Because they need to save the children caught by a monster. C. Because they are too lazy to use their powers anymore. D. Because they expect Sun Wukong to save them. 44. What does Sun Wukong try to show by giving the four little monsters his hairs? A. He feels sorry for them losing their powers. B. He wants them to have new magical powers. C. He pays them for saving the children. D. He respects their courage and kindness. 45. But are these good for teenagers? Liu Junya, a dietitian living in Beijing, says that these diets may not be good for teenagers. “These diets can work for adults, but teenagers are still growing. Eating too little might influence their development or schoolwork,” said Liu. So how should teenagers eat to stay fit? As Liu said, overweight among teenagers is often caused by too much junk food such as ice cream, chips and sweet drinks. Eating too much refined (精制的) rice also leads to weight problems. “The National Health Commission has provided a guideline (指南) for teenagers about what and how much food they should eat every day. Students can use it as a rule,” said Liu. “Overweight teenagers can eat 20 percent less than the suggested amount.” Another idea is to start meals with high-fiber (高纤维的) food like salads or apples. This can fill you up faster! Teenagers also face other weight problems. Malnutrition (营养不良) is really common, often because of picky eating and food allergies (过敏). “If someone can’t drink milk because of an allergy, they may be short of important nutrients (营养物质). They should try other drinks.” said Liu. Even heavy teenagers can be short of nutrients if their diet is unbalanced. “Each teenager has their own needs. They can ask for advice from doctors or dietitians if necessary.” Liu said. 46. Why are popular diets like “16:8” not good for teenagers according to Liu Junya? A. They are too difficult for teenagers to follow. B. Teenagers will easily get bored with such strict diets. C. These diets only work for people in Western countries. D. Teenagers’ growth and schoolwork may be influenced. 47. What does the underlined word “it” refer to in Paragraph 3? A. The guideline for teenagers. B. The suggested food amount. C. Junk food. D. High-fiber food. 48. What can we learn from the passage? A. Popular online diets like “16:8” are bad for everyone. B. The “16:8” diet is the best way for teenagers to stay fit. C. Overweight teenagers may not get enough nutrients if they don’t have a balanced diet. D. Malnutrition in teenagers only happens because of picky eating or food allergies. 【答案】46. D 47. A 48. Students can use it as a rule”可知,划线词“it”指代的是前句提到的“指南”。故选A。 【48题详解】 推理判断题。根据“Even heavy teenagers can be short of nutrients if their diet is unbalanced.”可知,超重的青少年如果饮食不均衡可能会得不到足够的营养。故选C。 E Now technology is developing fast, and AI is quickly entering the education field. Take “Xiaozhi”—an AI learning helper made by DeepSeek Company—as an example. With its intelligent analysis (分析) ability, it has opened a new world of smart learning for many students. “Xiaozhi” is like a smart learning helper. It can clearly find out the knowledge problems that students have in their homework and exams. Based on the reasons for the wrong answers and the weak knowledge points, it can make a set of special exercise questions for each student, helping them strengthen (加强) their knowledge. It can answer math problems right away. It stays with students day and night to explore knowledge, just like an online teacher. The research shows that after using “Xiaozhi”, students’ average math scores rose by 15%—a really exciting result. But AI education’s fast growth also brings deep thoughts. AI can pass on knowledge quickly, but it can hardly replace human teachers. Teachers are not just knowledge spreaders, but also guides for students’ hearts. They play a key role in giving care and shaping values. Also, we need to solve problems like keeping data (数据) safe and making rules about what content (内容) is okay for AI learning tools. Then, how can we make good rules to supervise (监管) AI in education and help it develop smoothly? This has become something the whole society cares about a lot. Looking ahead, what great changes will happen when AI and education work closely together? It’s really worth our expectation! 49. According to the passage, which of the following is TRUE about “Xiaozhi”? A. It can only help with math problems. B. It creates general exercise questions for all students. C. It can be used anytime as a learning helper. D. It has replaced human teachers in education. 50. Why is it hard for AI to replace human teachers? A. AI education products have data safety problems. B. Human teachers can offer care and shape students’ values. C. AI can’t analyze students’ knowledge problems. D. Human teachers are better at spreading knowledge. 51. What should the government do for AI education? A. Develop more AI learning helpers like “Xiaozhi”. B. Focus on improving the speed of AI spreading knowledge. C. Make good rules to supervise AI education. D. Encourage schools to use more AI products. 52. What is the writer’s attitude (态度) towards AI and education working together? A. Hopeful. B. Worried. C. Doubtful. D. Uninterested. 【答案】49. C 50. B 51. C 52. This has become something the whole society cares about a lot.”可知,政府应制定良好的规则来监管AI教育。故选C。 【52题详解】 观点态度题。根据“It’s really worth our expectation!”可知,作者对AI与教育融合的态度是充满期待的。故选A。 F 阅读下面短文,并用英语回答问题(请注意每小题的词数要求)。 Old Summer Palace Treasures Come to Hefei Last week, a great exhibition was held in Hefei. B Yang Chen-Ning, a world-famous physicist and Nobel Prize winner, passed away in Beijing on October 18, 2025. He was a professor at Tsinghua University. Tsinghua University wrote about his death and described him as “immortal” (不朽的) for his influence on science and education will last forever. Born in 1922 in Hefei, Anhui Province, Yang moved to Beijing with his family in 1929. His university studies began at the National Southwestern Associated University in 1938, followed by a master’s degree from Tsinghua University in 1944. The next year, he went to the United States for further study. The year 1957 saw Yang and his partner Tsung-dao Lee win the Nobel Prize in Physics. Their discovery about how very small particles (粒子) behave changed scientists’ understanding of particle physics. Together with Robert Mills, Yang developed the “Yang-Mills theory (理论)” which became a key part of the Standard Model explaining the basic forces of the universe. From 1949 to 1966, Yang worked at Princeton’s Institute (研究院), then taught at the State University of New York until 1999. He returned to China often, serving as a visiting professor at the Chinese University of Hong Kong since 1986 and helping build Tsinghua’s advanced studies program. He cared deeply for his country, developing science education and exchange between China and the United States. His first visit to China in 1971 encouraged many overseas (海外的) Chinese researchers to return. He also raised money to support Chinese students studying overseas. Yang’s century-long journey of exploration and love for his nation left a bright mark on human history, showing how one person can shape the future through knowledge and hard work. 39. Why did Tsinghua call Yang “immortal”? A. Because he lived for more than 100 years and had a long life. B. Because he was the first Chinese scientist to win the Nobel Prize in Physics. C. What’s the text mainly about? A. Yang’s Nobel Prize story. B. Yang’s life and great achievements. C. Yang’s education in U. S. D. Why Yang returned to China. C Nobody is a fun and moving film about four little monsters. A. Pretending to Be Monk Tang’s Followers on the Scripture Road D When teenagers want to lose weight, they may try popular diets online like “16:8” (eating only during an 8-hour-period each day) or “5:2” (eating normally for 5 days a week and eating less for 2 days). E Now technology is developing fast, and AI is quickly entering the education field. F 阅读下面短文,并用英语回答问题(请注意每小题的词数要求)。 Old Summer Palace Treasures Come to Hefei Last week, a great exhibition was held in Hefei.
