Blinded by anger （被愤怒蒙蔽了双眼）， I found that I could not stay at my hometown any longer. Tears welled up in my eyes（我的泪水夺眶而出） as I tried to apologize for my rudeness. “Dad， I’m sorry for what I said and did.” He looked up， his eyes filled with the mixture of surprise and sadness （他的眼睛里充满了惊讶和悲伤）. Without a word， we embraced each other tightly （紧紧相拥）， feeling the melting away of the iron door.
