Good to know
Limited Daylight: During the winter months, daylight hours in Finland can be extremely short, especially in the northern regions. Schools often start later in the morning to allow children to go to school in daylight, ensuring safety and well-being.

Good to know
Focus on Well-being: The lack of sunlight during winter can affect mood and energy levels. Shorter school days help mitigate these effects by reducing stress and allowing children more time for rest and outdoor activities during the limited daylight.
