第2讲　升格篇——四大升级策略 [对应学生用书P107] 读后续写对语言综合运用能力要求更高。要增添“读后续写”的表达效果，不仅要有词汇量的积累，还要注意避免使用泛泛而谈的词汇，应该多使用具体的词汇使表达更加准确到位。 只有准确、连续的动作和夸张、丰富的表情以及细致的心理活动描写，才能让人物栩栩如生！ 策略1　多用高级词汇 1．笼统词→具体词 ①Suddenly，everyone stopped and looked at me. →All of a sudden，everyone stopped and stared at me. ②He laid his fishing pole down and walked，moving toward me at a snail's pace. →He laid his fishing pole down and dragged his feet，moving toward me at a snail's pace. 2．初级词→高级词 ①On arriving at Clearwater，Katrina wanted to see Winter，the lovely dolphin that comforted her and improved her mood. →On arriving at Clearwater，Katrina couldn't wait to see Winter，the lovely dolphin that comforted her and boosted her mood. ②She said that she had been trying to find someone reliable to walk Velma，and that she truly thanked my help. →She said that she had been struggling to find someone reliable to walk Velma，and that she truly appreciated my assistance. 3．单词→短语 ①Seeing this scene，I gasped with relief and laughed. →Seeing this scene，I gasped with relief and burst into laughter. ②After a busy morning，they were tired，but they felt proud. →After a busy morning，they were worn out/exhausted，but they felt proud. 4．运用有表现力的副词 恰当地使用富有表现力的副词，能够使文章更加丰富多彩，描写得更为准确，文章更有生机。使用这些副词时，要注意把握这些词汇的确切内涵，并且符合故事发展的内在逻辑。 ①The ice-cream truck was parked just around the corner，shining brilliantly in the sunlight，as if waiting to reward the three adventurers with a most generous treat for their patience and determination. ②Gradually，Max's faith started to get shaken in the burning sun after about twenty minutes of walking.Mimi bent over and patted him gently on the shoulder. ③Edward held the ball with sweaty hands，standing on the court nervously. ④Suddenly a long shadow came into the bedroom and she started crying bitterly. 5．运用有表现力的介词短语 介词with或in后加表示情绪、个性等的名词，经常可以与相应的副词互换，恰当地使用此结构可以增加表达的多样性。 ①On hearing that，her eyes widened excitedly and her mouth opened widely. →On hearing that，her eyes widened with excitement and her mouth opened widely. ②I watched as they ate the food eagerly，their eyes shining with gratitude. →I watched as they ate the food with eagerness，their eyes shining with gratitude. 策略2　善用动作链 在读后续写的写作过程中，成功的动作描写可以交代人物的身份、地位，可以反映人物心理活动的进程，也可以表现人物的性格特征。人物的动作或简单或复杂，都不是一下子就能完成的，细心观察才能捕捉到最能体现人物特征的慢镜头。因此，在描写动作时，要学会细化动作，把动作过程分解成一连串细微的动作，形成动作链，写出动作的连贯性，这样才能使描写具有画面感，使人物更立体。动作链有以下结构形式： ·动作A＋B＋and＋C ·句子＋v.-ing ·having done＋句子 ·v.-ed＋句子 ·句子谓语连动＋v.-ing She would get off the car excitedly，laughing and dancing around.她会兴奋地下车，又笑又跳。 Having queued for 3 hours，he was told that the tickets had been sold out.排了3个小时的队后，他被告知票已经卖完了。 Deeply moved by the story，the children began to cry.孩子们被这个故事深深感动了，开始哭了起来。 The dog trotted to him and got up on its back legs，trying to lick its old friend.小狗小跑到他跟前，站立起来，要舔它的老朋友。 Tony rushed to Rose and threw his arms around her tightly without hesitation，wiping tears from her cheeks.Tony冲向Rose，毫不犹豫地紧紧地抱住她，擦去她脸颊上的泪水。 策略3　会用高级句式 1．形容词(短语)作状语 Speechless and happy，she held her son tightly into her arms，with tears welling up in her eyes.她高兴得说不出话来，紧紧地抱着她的儿子，热泪盈眶。 2．非谓语动词 Exposed to the truth，I hugged Dad in my arms tightly.真相大白后，我紧紧地拥抱了爸爸。 I lowered my head with embarrassment，standing there like a fool.我尴尬地低下头，像个傻瓜一样站在那里。 3．with复合结构 (2024·新课标Ⅰ卷)I thanked him with the biggest smile on my face，and we exchanged contact information before I got on the bus.我面带最灿烂的微笑感谢他，在我上车之前，我们交换了联系方式。 (2023·新课标Ⅰ&Ⅱ卷)“Thank you very much！” I showed my certificate to him with my eyes watering.“Without you，I couldn't have done it.”“非常感谢你！”我把我的证书给他看，眼里流着泪，“没有你，我不可能做到。” On hearing of the unexpected news，she was so surprised that she froze with her mouth wide open.听到这个意外的消息，她惊讶得张大了嘴巴。 4．独立主格结构(名词/代词＋现在分词/过去分词/不定式/形容词/介词短语/……) (2023·新课标Ⅰ卷)“Congratulations！” my teacher said，with his eyes full of pride/with tears of pride filling his eyes.“祝贺你！”我的老师说，眼中充满了骄傲/眼中充满了骄傲的泪水。 She thought of Tom，memories flooding out as she closed her eyes and recalled the kindness of him.她想起了汤姆，当她闭上眼睛回忆起他的友善时，往事涌上心头。 5．三大从句 (2024·新课标Ⅰ卷)Gunter was definitely the best taxi driver that you would meet in Vienna and maybe Austria.甘特绝对是你在维也纳，甚至可能在奥地利遇到的最好的出租车司机。(定语从句) (2023·新课标Ⅰ&Ⅱ卷)Firstly，I expressed my gratitude to my beloved teacher and said，“What you said gave me a great deal of encouragement，which inspired my motivation for writing.I wouldn't have succeeded without your help.” 首先，我对我敬爱的老师表示感谢，并说：“您说的话给了我很大的鼓励，激发了我写作的动力。没有您的帮助，我不可能取得成功。”(主语从句＋定语从句) Cold and tired though we were，the kids' smiling faces cheered us up.虽然我们又冷又累，但孩子们的笑脸使我们振奋起来。(状语从句) 6．倒装句型 (2024·浙江卷1月)Not only did Eva broaden her living space，but she also got to be involved in varieties of activities.伊娃不仅扩大了她的生活空间，而且还参加了各种各样的活动。 Only when you find peace in your heart will you keep good relationships with others.只有当你找到内心的平静时，你才能跟别人保持良好的关系。 7．强调句型 Martin realized it was not the quantity of friends but the quality that mattered.Martin意识到重要的不是朋友的数量，而是质量。 It was not until then that I came to realize that we should always be honest.直到那时我才意识到我们应该永远诚实。 8．虚拟语气 (2023·新课标Ⅰ&Ⅱ卷)Without his encouragement，I couldn't have won the prize.要是没有他的鼓励，我不可能获奖。 But for this experience，she wouldn't have realized that she should spend more time with her family.如果没有这次经历，她就不会意识到她应该花更多的时间和家人在一起。 9．无生命名词作主语 (2024·新课标Ⅰ卷)A feeling of helplessness washed over me as I saw the bus queue thinning out.当我看到排队等公共汽车的人越来越少时，一种无助的感觉涌上心头。 (2024·浙江卷1月)A burst/wave/sense/feeling of accomplishment washed over her，filling her with new-found confidence.一阵/一种成就感涌上她的心头，使她重拾自信。 When he saw the familiar handwriting，tears welled up in his eyes.当看到熟悉的字迹时，他热泪盈眶。 策略4　巧用修辞手法 无论是在汉语还是在英语中，修辞都是一门具有独特魅力的艺术。在读后续写中，恰当地运用修辞手法可以使平淡的语言变得鲜活、生动，从而增强文章的表现力，也有助于获得高分。较为常用的修辞手法有比喻和拟人两种。 (2024·新课标Ⅰ卷)Upon seeing one another，we embraced as if we were long-lost friends.
