Although people everywhere seem to enjoy dinking coffee, they don’t all have the same coffee culture. In Europe for example, coffee shops are common paces for people to meet friends while they drink coffee. On the other hand, places like this were not as common in North America in the past. Instead, people in North America liked to drink coffee in their homes with friends. The coffee culture in the USA changed, when Starbucks coffee shops spread throughout the country.
The first Starbucks coffee shop opened in 1971 in downtown Seattle, Washington, in the USA. It was a small coffee shop that cooked is own coffee beans. The coffee shop’s business did well, and by 1981 there were three Starbucks stores in Seattle.

However, that does not mean Starbucks has not had problems. In fact, many Starbucks stores have closed over the past few years, On the one hand, this is because there were too many coffee shops competing(竞争) for business in one small area. A. Please accept an imperfect world as possible as you can.
B. Are you speaking to someone who can help solve the problem?
C. Many of us complain only because we never considered there may be a better way.
D. Is there a time period of the day you want to complain more than others?
E. And try spreading some cheer with your opening line instead.
F. How might we begin to overcome the habit of complaining?
Life is not perfect. It has never been and never will be. We often complain about (抱怨) the weather, the traffic, and the plants in our yard. We complain about tight clothing, misplaced keys, late planes. 26 Here are some useful steps to help you complain less.
Consider the importance of accepting the change. 27 But when given the choice(选择), most of us would prefer to give life rather than waste life with our words.
28 Life is not always going to achieve what we would like (or even expect) at every turn. There will be trouble. Again, this is okay. And the sooner we can accept the fact that our contribution (贡献) is far more needed than our pleasure.
Avoid beginning conversations with a complaint. Often, when we talk with a complaint, we’ll begin to complain too. So, try not to begin conversations with a complaint. 29 .
Notice your triggers (触发). 30 Morning, evening, or late afternoon? When you are drinking coffee or having lunch with your friends? Maybe it is around the water cooler with your co-workers. Take notice. Then, avoid triggers if possible.
Complaining achieves little purpose in our lives. We’d live happier without it. Moving forward, let’s accept the actual instead.
