内容正文:
Although sunnies are commonly known as title waves, they're actually unrelated to the title activity caused by the gravitation forces of the sun and moon. In many ways, tatami are just larger versions of regular waves. They have a trough and the quest, and consist not of moving water, but the movement of energy through water. The difference is in where the energy comes from. For Normal ocean waves, IT comes from wind, because this only affects the surface. The waves are limited in size and speed. But tsunamis are caused by energy originating underwater from a volcanic corruption, a submarine, landsat, or most commonly, an earthquake on the ocean floor, caused when the tectonic plates of the earth's surface slip, releasing a massive amount of energy into the water. This energy travels up to the surface, displacing water and raising IT above the Normal sea level. But gravity pulls IT back down, which makes the energy ripple outward, horizon onta. Thus the tsunami is born moving over five hundred miles per hour. When it's far from sure a tuna, I can be barely detectable since IT moves through the entire depth of the water. But when IT reaches shallow water, something called wave showing occurs because there is less water to move through. The still massive amount of energy is compressed. The wave speed slows down while its height rises to as much as one hundred feet. The word tuna I japanese for harbor wave comes from the fact that IT only seems to appear near the coast. If the top of the tuna I reaches shore first, the water will withdraw farther than Normal before the wave hits, which can be misleadingly dangerous. Tsunami will not only drop people near the coast, but level buildings and trees for a mile inland, or more, especially in low lying areas. As if that weren't enough, the water then retreats, dragging with IT the newly created debris and anything or anyone unfortunate enough to be cared in its path.

The day the earth shook
Last Sunday, I was watching a film at home with my family. Suddenly, my mum noticed the ceiling lights moving and wondered if it was the wind. But the windows were closed. Then, we felt the sofa shake a little. Dad shouted, “It must be an earthquake!“ I was scared, and Dad told us to cover our heads and get out of the house. We quickly put on our shoes and ran down the stairs as fast as we could. We saw some of our neighbours running downstairs too.
Once we were outside, Dad said we should stay in an open space in case there were more earthquakes. My parents checked their phones for news, and it turned out there was a small earthquake in a nearby province.
We stayed outside for a while, just in case of aftershocks. Even though it was frightening at first, we were glad it was just a small earthquake and that everyone was safe.

$D too, here is the article by the japanese student about his personal experience. Read the article . a tidal wave. I went to the beach with my friends last saturday when we were playing on the beach. Suddenly the water started to go away. We heard people shouting. They were telling us to run away from the beach. A big wave was coming towards us. We run up the hill as fast as possible. When I looked back the whole beach and all the buildings, blowers were in water. Many boats were damaged after the title wave passed. The police checked to see if everyone was okay and warned us to stay away from the beach for a few days. They told us that there was an earth. The quake a few kilometers away under the sea and IT caused the title wave. Luckily, no one was hurt or killed. All of us were happy that we were safe.
