人物描写是读后续写中的一个重要组成部分。其作用包括:刻画人物性格、反映人物心理、推动情节发展和揭示文章主题。
人物描写可以分为正面描写、侧面描写和细节描写。
正面描写即直接描写,指对人物做直接具体的刻画,直接把人物的外貌、神态、语言、行动、心理等方面呈现出来,揭示人物的性格特点和思想品质,反映主题。
