1.预习Page 101上的生词,根据音标能读出这些词,并掌握其词性及汉语意思。
2.观察1c中的表格,预测听力所涉及的话题和内容。
二、预习检测
根据汉语意思完成句子,每空一词
1.买东西的时候你最好自己带袋子。
You’d better take your own bags when shopping.
2.我想要两张纸。
I want two pieces of paper .
3.她靠回收书籍为生。
She makes a living by recycling books.
4.我们应该骑自行车而不是开汽车。
We should ride our bikes instead/rather of/than riding/ride in cars.
课堂教学
Step 1 Leading in
1.Greeting.
2.Play videos about environment to lead the students into the lesson.
3.Let the students discuss the following questions:
What can we do to help protect our environment?
How can we help to stop air/land/water pollution?
What can we do at school?
Step 2 Work on 1a-1b
1.Get the students to make a list of the ways of what we can do to save the earth,using the results of the discussion at Step 1.Then say in which ways they have done well.
2.Make the students read the items in 1a and rank them from 1 to 5.
3.Ask the students to compare their answers in 1a with their partners.
Step 3 Work on 1c-1d
1.Get the students to read the instruction of 1c and read the phrases in the first column.Let them learn the meaning of them.
2.Play the recording for the first time.Let the students check the things that Julia and Jack talk about.Check the answers with the class.
3.Get the students to read the instruction of 1d.Play the recording for a second time.Get the students to finish the task in 1d.Play the recording once more.Ask the students to repeat and check the answers.
Step 4 Work on 1e
1.Ask the students to read aloud the conversation in 1e.Then ask a few pairs to role⁃play the conversation.
2.Ask the students to make a new conversation using the information from the chart in 1c in pairs.
3.Ask three pairs to role⁃play their conversations to the class.

1.stop doing sth.意为“停止做某事”,doing是stop 的宾语,是要停止的动作。
2.stop to do sth.意为“停下来(正在做的事情)去做某事”,to do是stop的状语,表示目的,是要开始做别的事情。
◇教学反思◇
本课时在Section A的基础上,继续对环保问题进行了讨论,进一步加强了学生的环保意识。通过学习,学生明白环保是可以从自身的点点滴滴做起的。另外,老师也有意识地引导学生用心去进行听力训练,从而提高学生的听力技巧。
