根据每个项目后的时间“Experiencing Wildlife in Yellowstone (May 26 to September 2) (在黄石体验野生动物(5月26日至9月2日))”和“Junior Ranger Wildlife Olympics (June 5 to August 21) (少年游骑兵野生动物奥林匹克运动会(6月5日至8月21日))”与“Canyon Talks at Artist Point (June 9 to September 2) (在Artist Point的峡谷会谈(6月9日至9月2日))”以及“Photography Workshops (June 19 & July 10) (摄影研讨会(6月19日和7月10日))”可知,四个项目中在黄石体验野生动物开始的时间最早。 根据文章“Canyon Talks at Artist Point (June 9 to September 2) (在Artist Point的峡谷会谈(6月9日至9月2日))部分中的“From a classic viewpoint, enjoy Lower Falls, the Yellowstone River, and the breathtaking colors of the canyon (峡谷) while learning about the area’s natural and human history. (从一个经典的视角,欣赏下瀑布、黄石河和峡谷的壮丽色彩,同时了解该地区的自然和人类历史)”可知,在Artist Point的简短演讲主题是关于峡谷地区的历史的。故选D。 【3题详解】 细节理解题。根据文章“Photography Workshops (June 19 & July 10) (摄影研讨会(6月19日和7月10日))”部分中的“7/10 — Wildflowers &White Balance: meet at Washburn Trailhead in Chittenden parking area. (7/10——Wildflowers &White Balance:在奇滕登停车场的Washburn Trailhead举行)”可知,7月10日的摄影研讨会将在Washburn Trailhead举行。故选B。 【点睛】 B I don’t remember when my love of the protected Great Bear Rainforest began — it’s something that’s always been there, even though I haven’t spent longer than a month there in one go. I grew up in a small village by the sea and planned to study marine biology and live out on the water. Unfortunately, or perhaps fortunately, my lack of scientific talent quickly put paid to that idea, but the love of nature remained and has been an anchor (锚) in my life and in my writing. The Great Bear Rainforest is vast, splendid and wild but also friendly, fun and diverse. I travelled there by myself at the age of 20, planning to spend my 21st birthday camping, and hiking in the forests. I woke up on my birthday in a tent on the edge of the water. Behind me, the trees of this largely untouched wilderness emerged. Endless carpets of pointed trees reached right down to a thin rocky shore. It seemed there was no way in. This wilderness held its secrets close. Stepping from the beach into the forest, I immediately sensed the history of the area — it felt ancient, and it was impossible not to be humbled. With a guide for safety, I hiked a few miles through the wilderness. The sounds of the forest were everywhere. Birds sang. Insects buzzed. Something bigger moved through the undergrowth and my guide stopped dead. Listened. My heart was in my mouth. Then, after some invisible signal, my guide relaxed, and we went on. We continued the hike and emerged onto a cliff with the most breath-taking view I’ve ever seen. From terror to wonder in only a few hundred steps. It was that sense of unsettled ground — of shifting emotion, secrets and awe, beauty and fear — that’s fed my writing across four books, none more so than Children of the Sun, and implanted in me a lifelong love of the wild. 4. What does the underlined phrase “put paid to” in paragraph 1 mean? A. Stimulated. B. Ended. C. Supported. D. Proved. 5. What does “it was impossible not to be humbled” convey in paragraph 3? A. I was awed by the powerful nature. B. I became modest after my 21st birthday. C. I was attracted by the history of the area. D. I got curious about the secrets of the forest. 6. Which word can best describe the guide? A. Conservative. B. Considerate. C. Practiced. D. Indecisive. 7. What is the text mainly about? A. The passion for nature. B. The feature of 4 books. C. An unforgettable travel experience. D. A vivid description of mixed emotions. 【答案】4. B 5. A 6. C 7. A 【解析】 【导语】这是一篇记叙文。文章主要讲述了作者20岁时独自去大熊雨林旅行的经历,讲述了旅行中的所见所闻。 【4题详解】 词句猜测题。根据划线词上文“my lack of scientific talent quickly”以及后文“but the love of nature remained and has been an anchor (锚) in my life and in my writing.”可知,but表示转折,说明作者缺乏科学天赋,很快结束了这个想法,但对大自然的热爱仍然存在,并一直是生活和写作的支柱。故划线词意思是“结束”。故选B。 【5题详解】 句意猜测题。根据第三段“It seemed there was no way in. This wilderness held its secrets close. Stepping from the beach into the forest, I immediately sensed the history of the area — it felt ancient, and it was impossible not to be humbled. (似乎没有办法进去。这片荒野封闭着它的秘密。从海滩走进森林,我立刻感受到这个地区的历史——它给人一种古老的感觉,不可能不感到谦卑)”以及最后一段“From terror to wonder in only a few hundred steps. It was that sense of unsettled ground — of shifting emotion, secrets and awe, beauty and fear (正是这种不安的感觉——不断变化的情感、秘密与敬畏、美丽与恐惧)”可推知,第3段中的“不可能不感到谦卑”意思是“我对大自然的强大感到敬畏”。故选A。 【6题详解】 推理判断题。根据倒数第二段“Something bigger moved through the undergrowth and my guide stopped dead. Listened. My heart was in my mouth. Then, after some invisible signal, my guide relaxed, and we went on. (有个更大的东西穿过灌木丛,我的向导突然停了下来。听着。我的心都提到嗓子眼儿了。然后,在一些看不见的信号之后,我的向导放松了下来,我们继续前进)”可推知,导游从一开始看到更大的东西停下来,到后来看到信号之后放松了下来,说明他很有经验。故选C。 【7题详解】 主旨大意题。根据第一段的“ I don’t remember when my love of the protected Great Bear Rainforest began — it’s something that’s always been there, even though I haven’t spent longer than a month there in one go. (我不记得我对受保护的大熊雨林的热爱是什么时候开始的——它一直在那里,尽管我在那里一次待的时间没有超过一个月。)”和“ Unfortunately, or perhaps fortunately, my lack of scientific talent quickly  put paid to that idea, but the love of nature remained and has been an anchor (锚 ) in my life and in my writing.(不幸的是,也许是幸运的是,我缺乏科学天赋,很快打消了这个想法,但对自然的热爱仍然存在,并一直是我生活和写作的支柱(锚)。)”以及最后一段的“  It was that sense of unsettled ground — of shifting emotion, secrets and awe, beauty and fear — that’s fed my writing across four books, none more so than  Children of the Sun , and implanted in me a lifelong love of the wild.(正是这种不安的感觉——不断变化的情感、秘密与敬畏、美丽与恐惧——滋养了我的四本书,其中最重要的是《太阳的孩子》,并在我心中植入了对荒野的终身热爱。)”可知,文章通过讲说作者20岁时独自去大熊雨林旅行的经历阐述了对大自然的热爱。故选A。 C Imagine you’re writing a poem, rhymes must be paired up before you start a new line. It turns out that AI does something similar! When Claude, a large language model (LLM), is given the first line “he saw a carrot and had to grab it”, it begins thinking about words like “rabbit” almost immediately, writing the next sentence to end at the appropriate rhyme. Such forethought is unexpected. Scientists at Anthropic, the lab that developed Claude, built a tool and they discovered some unexpected complexity. The tool, a “digital microscope”, lets scientists look at which parts of the AI’s neural (神经的) network light up when it’s working on different tasks. If a particular area of the LLM lights up whenever it produces words like rabbit, then that gets marked as being related to rabbits. This has let the team solve some open questions in AI research, for example, whether a multilingual (多语言的) chatbot has awareness of concepts beyond language. When Claude is asked for the opposite of “big” in English, or the same concept in Chinese, the same feature lights up in every case, before more language-specific circuits kick in to “translate” the concept of smallness into a particular word. This suggests that AI might have a deeper understanding of the world than we thought. Other insights, though, are less encouraging. When Claude itself is asked to reason, printing out its chain of thought to answer maths questions, the microscope suggests that the way the model says it reached a conclusion, and what it actually thought, might not always be the same. Worse still, ask a leading question — suggesting that the answer “might be 4”, and it will specifically add numbers that ultimately lead it to agree with the question, even if the suggestion is wrong. But being able to gain insight into the mind of an LLM provides clues as to how to stop it doing the same in the future. The goal, after all, is not to have to do brain surgery, but to know what it’s thinking. 8. What does the writer intend to show through the example in paragraph 1? A. AI can write texts as programmed. B. AI can plan sentences in advance. C. AI can deal with complex tasks. D. AI can simplify rhyming lines. 9. How does “digital microscope” function in the research? A. By tracking AI’s thinking activities. B. By working on different jobs. C. By activating AI’s “brain” potential. D. By matching language patterns. 10 What can be inferred from paragraph 5 about Claude? A. It may make stuff up. B. It may skip chains of thought. C. It may leave clues out. D. It may give logical reasoning. 11. Which of the following titles best suits this text? A. Why AI Still Gets It Wrong B. Chatbots’ Language Magic C. Looking Inside AI’s Mind D. The Rise of AI Chatbots 【答案】8. B 9. A 10. A 11. C 【解析】 【导语】本文是一篇说明文。主要介绍研究人员通过“数字显微镜”探究AI(如Claude)的思维机制,揭示其提前规划、概念理解及推理问题,并提及研究意义。 【8题详解】 推理判断题。根据第一段中的“Imagine you’re writing a poem, rhymes must be paired up before you start a new line. It turns out that AI does something similar! When Claude, a large language model (LLM), is given the first line “he saw a carrot and had to grab it”, it begins thinking about words like “rabbit” almost immediately, writing the next sentence to end at the appropriate rhyme.(想象一下你正在写诗,在开始新的一行之前,必须先搭配好押韵词。事实证明,人工智能也会做类似的事情!当大型语言模型(LLM)克劳德(Claude)得到第一行文字“he saw a carrot and had to grab it”(他看到一根胡萝卜,不得不抓住它)时,它几乎立刻就开始思考像“rabbit”(兔子)这样的词,并写出下一个句子,使其结尾有合适的押韵词。)”可知,作者以AI写诗提前思考押韵词为例,是为了说明AI能提前规划句子。故选B项。 【9题详解】 细节理解题。根据第三段中的“The tool, a “digital microscope”, lets scientists look at which parts of the AI’s neural (神经的) network light up when it’s working on different tasks. If a particular area of the LLM lights up whenever it produces words like rabbit, then that gets marked as being related to rabbits.(这个被称为“数字显微镜”的工具,能让科学家观察到人工智能在处理不同任务时,其神经网络的哪些部分会被激活。如果大型语言模型(LLM)的某个特定区域在生成“rabbit”(兔子)这类词时总会被激活,那么该区域就会被标记为与“兔子”相关。)”可知,“数字显微镜”通过追踪AI的思维活动(神经网络激活情况)发挥作用。故选A项。 【10题详解】 推理判断题。根据第五段中的“When Claude itself is asked to reason, printing out its chain of thought to answer maths questions, the microscope suggests that the way the model says it reached a conclusion, and what it actually thought, might not always be the same. Worse still, ask a leading question — suggesting that the answer “might be 4”, and it will specifically add numbers that ultimately lead it to agree with the question, even if the suggestion is wrong.(当要求克劳德(Claude)进行推理,输出其思考过程来解答数学问题时,“数字显微镜”显示,该模型声称得出结论的方式与其实际思考过程可能并不总是一致的。更糟糕的是,若提出一个诱导性问题——暗示答案“可能是4”,即便这个暗示是错误的,它也会特意添加数字,最终得出与该问题暗示一致的结论。)”可知,Claude可能会编造思考过程或结果来迎合错误暗示,即“可能会编造内容”。故选A项。 【11题详解】 主旨大意题。通读全文,尤其是第三段中的“The tool, a “digital microscope”, lets scientists look at which parts of the AI’s neural (神经的) network light up when it’s working on different tasks.(这个被称为“数字显微镜”的工具,能让科学家观察到人工智能在处理不同任务时,其神经网络的哪些部分会被激活。)”以及最后一段中的“But being able to gain insight into the mind of an LLM provides clues as to how to stop it doing the same in the future.(但能够深入了解大型语言模型(LLM)的“思维”,为未来找到阻止它出现类似问题的方法提供了线索。)”可知,文章围绕通过“数字显微镜”探究AI的“思维”展开,“探究AI的内心(思维)”最能概括全文核心,适合作为最佳标题。故选C项。 D Why do some people feel such a strong bond with celebrities, and what does this reveal about their personality and values? A new study published in the International Journal of Psychology has found that people who strongly admire celebrities tend to score higher in both materialism and narcissism (自恋). The study also found that people who perceive themselves as similar to their favorite celebrity are more likely to have these attitudes. The study, conducted by Davis, Locker, and Williams, recruited 215 undergraduates, mostly women, who completed a battery of questionnaires measuring their attitudes toward celebrities, materialistic values, and narcissistic tendencies. Participants also answered newly created questions that assessed how similar they felt to their favorite celebrity in terms of personality, appearance, or lifestyle. Celebrity worship was assessed with the Celebrity Attitude Scale (量表). Materialism was measured by examining how much value people place on owning things, how important possessions are to their identity, and whether they believe material goods make them happier. Narcissism was measured in two forms: grandiose narcissism (characterized by confidence, entitlement, and dominance) and vulnerable narcissism (marked by insecurity, sensitivity to criticism, and a preoccupation with self-image). The results showed a consistent relationship between celebrity worship and materialism. People who scored higher on celebrity worship also tended to place greater importance on money, status, and possessions. When it came to narcissism, only the vulnerable type, people with higher levels of emotional insecurity and self-focus, were more likely to feel strongly connected to celebrities. Most importantly, perceived similarity — whether in appearance, behavior, or personality — stood out as one of the strongest predictors of celebrity worship. The researchers concluded, “celebrity worship is a complex construct, but perceived similarity with a favorite celebrity and vulnerable narcissism may be fruitful avenues for future research.” Still, an important question remains: do people idolize celebrities because they already feel similar to them, or do they start to see themselves as similar after forming an emotional attachment? 12. What is paragraph 2 about? A. The research background. B. The research subjects. C. The research results. D. The research method. 13. According to the study, who are more likely to worship celebrities? A. Those indifferent to wealth and social status. B. Those valuing self-confidence and dominance. C. Those emotionally insecure and self-focused. D. Those seeking spiritual growth beyond possessions. 14. According to the researchers, what might be a direction of future research? A. Celebrity worship. B. Grandiose narcissism. C. Materialism. D. Perceived similarity. 15. What is the main purpose of the text? A. To explain celebrity worship psychology. B. To warn against the dangers of celebrity culture. C. To criticize celebrity materialism and narcissism. D. To describe scales for measuring personality traits. 【答案】12. D 13. C 14. D 15. A 【解析】 【导语】本文是一篇说明文。文章介绍了一项研究表明,名人崇拜与物质主义及脆弱型自恋显著相关,且感知相似性是重要预测因素,研究者建议未来探索感知相似度与脆弱型自恋的深层作用机制。 【12题详解】 主旨大意题。根据第二段“The study, conducted by Davis, Locker, and Williams, recruited 215 undergraduates, mostly women, who completed a battery of questionnaires measuring their attitudes toward celebrities, materialistic values, and narcissistic tendencies. Participants also answered newly created questions that assessed how similar they felt to their favorite celebrity in terms of personality, appearance, or lifestyle. (该研究由Davis、Locker和Williams进行,招募了215名主要为女性的本科生,他们完成了一系列问卷,测量对名人的态度、物质主义价值观和自恋倾向。参与者还回答了一些新设计的问题,评估他们觉得自己与最喜爱的名人在个性、外貌或生活方式上的相似度)”可知,该段主要介绍了研究方法,说明数据收集方式和测量内容。故选D项。 【13题详解】 细节理解题。根据第四段中“When it came to narcissism, only the vulnerable type, people with higher levels of emotional insecurity and self-focus, were more likely to feel strongly connected to celebrities. (在自恋方面,只有脆弱型自恋者——即情感上更缺乏安全感且自我关注度高的人——更容易与名人产生强烈关联)”可知,根据研究,情感上缺乏安全感且过度自我关注的人更可能崇拜名人。故选C项。 【14题详解】 细节理解题。根据最后一段中研究者所说的话“celebrity worship is a complex construct, but perceived similarity with a favorite celebrity and vulnerable narcissism may be fruitful avenues for future research. (名人崇拜是一个复杂的构念,但与喜爱名人的感知相似度和脆弱型自恋可能是未来研究的有效方向)”可知,研究者认为,未来研究可能关注感知相似度。故选D项。 【15题详解】 推理判断题。通读全文,尤其是第一段中“Why do some people feel such a strong bond with celebrities, and what does this reveal about their personality and values? (为什么有些人会对名人产生如此强烈的情感联结?这种现象又揭示了他们怎样的个性和价值观?)”可知,全文围绕一项针对名人崇拜心理的研究展开,该研究揭示了这种心理与物质主义、自恋(尤其是脆弱型)及感知相似度的关系,并指出未来研究方向。由此推知,本文的主要目的是解释名人崇拜的心理。故选A项。 第二节(共5小题;每小题2.5分,满分12.5分) 根据短文内容,从短文后的选项中选出能填入空白处的最佳选项。选项中有两项为多余选项。 In today’s world, we are constantly surrounded by media — from newspapers and television to social media. Faced with this flood of messages, how can we tell what’s true, what’s biased, and what’s meant to influence us? ____16____ Media literacy (素养) is the ability to identify different types of media and understand the messages they’re sending. It’s recognized as a key skill in the 21st century. ____17____ Therefore, learning how to think critically about media is not just helpful — it’s essential. ____18____ As early as the 1920s, organizations in the UK encouraged people to be more thoughtful media users. At the time, the goal was mostly to protect audiences, especially young people, from media influence. However, with the rise of television, media consumption only grew, while interest in teaching media literacy declined. Things began to change again with the arrival of the Internet and mobile devices. ____19____ This shift led educators and researchers to renew their focus — not on avoiding media, but on using it wisely. Research confirms the benefits of education of media literacy. Media literacy programs can reduce body dissatisfaction, especially among young women exposed to unrealistic beauty standards. ____20____ These findings suggest that media literacy not only protects us from harm, but also supports healthier, more thoughtful living. So, how can we practice media literacy? Experts suggest examining media through four lenses: cognitive (what it says), emotional (how it feels), aesthetic (how it looks), and moral (what values it promotes). By doing so, we become more active and empowered media users. A. That’s where media literacy comes in. B. The concept of media literacy has a long history. C. Now, people can access media anytime and anywhere. D. This is likely to promote your health and happiness. E. They can also prevent the spread of misinformation. F. Studies show that media can influence our behaviors often without us realizing it. G. Modern media literacy education teaches people to question what they see and hear. 【答案】16. A 17. F 18. B 19. C 20. Slowing down, I opened the window and called out, “Need a ride?” I helped her into the passenger seat, and we were off. She directed me to go farther south. Suddenly, I realized we were on the “wrong side of town.” It was starting to get dark, and I began to feel uneasy. We continued down unfamiliar streets until she finally pointed to an old apartment building. The street was dirty and the air was smelly. Several young men gathered around the entrance. They appeared threatening. Some were on motorcycles, and one boy with bushy, long hair was staring at me intently (目不转睛地) — too intently — and smiling. I was getting more and more uncomfortable. I stopped the car. A couple of the guys helped with the groceries. The old lady thanked me, and I drove away as fast as I could. I was driving when I was interrupted by a motorcycle behind me. It was that boy who kept smiling at me with a strange look! In a panic, I slowed down, hoping he would pass me. But he continued to drive at the same speed as me. I realized he was waving for me to stop. No way was I going to stop for a stranger on an unfamiliar street. I tried to speed away, but it didn’t stop him. He raced after me again. Getting increasingly anxious, I reached down in the passenger seat to get my cell phone. I had to call 911. With my eyes on the road, one hand on the wheel and the other hand searching on the seat next to me, I found a phone. But it wasn’t mine. “Oh no, the lady took my phone by mistake!” Meanwhile, the guy on the bike stayed close to me. 注意:(1)续写词数应为150个左右; (2)请按如下格式在答题纸的相应位置作答。 I saw the boy waving something. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ I felt guilty and wanted to reward the boy. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 【答案】One possible version: I saw the boy waving something. Squinting through the rearview mirror, I realized it was my cell phone — its familiar case glinting in the dim streetlight. My heart skipped a beat, and I slowly pulled over, still on edge. He stopped his motorcycle beside me, holding out the phone with a gentle smile. “The old lady left this in my apartment building,” he said softly. “I saw it was yours and rushed to catch up. Didn’t mean to scare you.” His words melted my panic, and I felt a rush of embarrassment for judging him so quickly. I felt guilty and wanted to reward the boy. I fumbled in my wallet, but he shook his head firmly. “No need, ma’am. I just didn’t want you to worry about your phone.” His kindness made my cheeks burn. Instead, I asked for his name — Liam — and told him I’d bring him a homemade meal the next day. The next afternoon, I dropped off a plate of lasagna at his apartment. He thanked me with a big grin, and we chatted for a few minutes. That day, I learned never to judge someone by their appearance; sometimes, angels wear leather jackets and ride motorcycles. 词汇激活 行为类 ①意识到:realize/be aware that ②停车:pull over/pull up ③担心:worry about/be concerned about 情绪类 ①恐慌:panic/fear/terror ②尴尬:embarrassment/awkwardness 【点睛】【高分句型1】He stopped his motorcycle beside me, holding out the phone with a gentle smile. B I don’t remember when my love of the protected Great Bear Rainforest began — it’s something that’s always been there, even though I haven’t spent longer than a month there in one go. C Imagine you’re writing a poem, rhymes must be paired up before you start a new line. 10. What can be inferred from paragraph 5 about Claude? The Rise of AI Chatbots D Why do some people feel such a strong bond with celebrities, and what does this reveal about their personality and values? 第二节(共5小题;每小题2.5分,满分12.5分) 根据短文内容,从短文后的选项中选出能填入空白处的最佳选项。选项中有两项为多余选项。 In today’s world, we are constantly surrounded by media — from newspapers and television to social media. 第三部分 英语知识运用(共两节,满分30分) 第一节 完形填空(共15小题;每题1分,满分15分) 阅读下面短文,从短文后各题所给的四个选项(A、B、C和D)中,选出可以填入空白处的最佳选项,并在答题卡上将该项涂黑。 When Rex turned 18, he felt lost and unsure about his future. ____21____ graduated from high school, he was confronted with the daunting task of choosing a career path. I tried to speed away but it didn’t stop him. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 第1页/共1页 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 $
