Friendship is truly a great thing, and I have a friendship with my dear friend Lily that means a lot to me. I met Lily in high school. We were in the same class. Because we both liked music and art, we quickly became friends. We spent a lot of time together, having fun and talking about all kinds of things. Her laughter sounded so nice to my ears, and her smile could brighten up any place. We would walk home arm in arm after school, sharing our secrets and hopes. One day, there was a big misunderstanding between us. Someone spread a rumor (谣言) that I shared Lily’s secrets with others. Hearing this, Lily believed it right away, without giving me any chance to explain. I was very sad and I felt like my heart had been taken away. I was so sad that I didn’t even have the strength to get out of bed. I didn’t know what to do or where to go. I tried to tell her it wasn’t true, but she wouldn’t listen. The misunderstanding between us got bigger and bigger. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ A few days later, I received a letter of reply from Lily. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 【答案】 The misunderstanding between us got bigger and bigger. I felt lonely and helpless, as if I had lost my best friend forever. Days passed, and I couldn’t concentrate on my studies or enjoy anything I used to love. I even started to avoid seeing her in the hallways, afraid of the awkward silence between us. Finally, I decided to write a heartfelt letter to Lily, explaining everything and expressing my true feelings. I poured out my soul, hoping she would understand that the rumor was just a misunderstanding. A few days later, I received a letter of reply from Lily. To my relief, she apologized for not believing in me and said she had realized the truth after thinking it over. She admitted that she should have given me a chance to explain before jumping to conclusions. We met up and hugged each other tightly, with tears of joy in our eyes. Our friendship was stronger than ever, and we promised to never let a rumor come between us again. 词汇激活: 行为类 ①解释:explain/make clear/clarify ②道歉:apologize/say sorry/make an apology ③拥抱:hug/embrace 情绪类 ①孤独:lonely/alone/solitary ②无助:helpless/powerless/at a loss 【点睛】[高分句型1] I felt lonely and helpless, as if I had lost my best friend forever.(运用了as if引导的方式状语从句) [高分句型2] Finally, I decided to write a heartfelt letter to Lily, explaining everything and expressing my true feelings.(运用了现在分词作伴随状语) [高分句型3] To my relief, she apologized for not believing in me and said she had realized the truth after thinking it over.(运用了省略连词that的宾语从句) Passage 2 (24-25学年高一上·山东潍坊·期末) 1. Lucy and I met in the ninth grade. Until then, I had a few good friends with whom I shared many of the same interests, but never in my life had I experienced a friendship quite like the one I shared with her. Lucy and I shared everything. At times it even seemed like we shared a brain. Lucy and I both had a thing for taking photos of our shadows in the moonlight. Some nights we would keep away from everyone else, and walk around school, the park, even train tracks with our cameras— searching for the perfect shot of our shadows cast on the sidewalk beside us. A few months before I met Lucy, I was diagnosed (诊断) with a rare nervous system disease that would progress if left untreated. I was misdiagnosed for months. Consequently, a lot of time was wasted on the wrong treatments and I was getting worse and worse. Lucy was the first friend I ever told about my situation. “Eventually I might not be able to walk, be in the sun, digest food, eat like a normal person. Or worse,” I said as we sat on a bench one day after school. She was quiet for a moment. “Well, if you can’t walk, I’ll push you and if you can’t eat, I’ll have a food fight with you anyway, and if you become allergic to light we’ll still be able to go shadow-hunting. I’ll be your emotional sunscreen—SPF (防晒指数) 1,000.” “My SPF 1,000, huh?” “Yup,” she laughed. I hugged her. “Thank you.” Days turned into weeks, weeks turned into months and my health worsened. It was getting increasingly difficult for me to get around. Lucy was there with me, every “step” of the way. Finally, things got bad enough that I was forced to leave school. Hospital became my home away from home and I was often there for months at a time. I was very sick and unable to stay in contact with friends, even Lucy. Though I had a nurse to take care of me, I felt lonely. I needed someone to talk to, a friend. One day, an unexpected visitor arrived at my hospital bedside. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ With Lucy’s company and doctors’ proper treatment, things began to improve. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 【答案】One day, an unexpected visitor arrived at my hospital bedside. It was Lucy, with her familiar smile and a bag full of goodies. She looked at me with those warm, comforting eyes and said, “Hey, how’s it going? I’ve brought you some of your favorite books and snacks. I know you’re probably bored here, so I thought we could catch up and maybe even read a chapter together.” Her words were like a ray of sunshine breaking through the darkness of my hospital room. I felt my spirits lift as we talked and laughed, sharing stories of our old adventures and dreaming up new ones. Lucy’s visit was a reminder that even in the darkest times, friends can bring light and hope. With Lucy’s company and doctors’ proper treatment, things began to improve. My strength slowly returned, and I was able to spend more time out of bed. Lucy and I continued to bond, sharing our thoughts and fears about the future. She was always there to listen, to offer advice, and to remind me that I was not alone. Slowly but surely, I began to regain my independence. With Lucy’s unwavering support, I was able to face my illness with courage and determination. I knew that no matter what challenges came my way, I had a friend who would stand by me until the end. 词汇激活 行为类 购买:buy/purchase 返回:return/go back 面对:face/confront 情绪类 孤独的:alone/solitary 决心:determination/resolution 【点睛】[高分句型1] Lucy and I continued to bond, sharing our thoughts and fears about the future.(运用了现在分词作状语) [高分句型2] I knew that no matter what challenges came my way, I had a friend who would stand by me until the end.(运用了that引导宾语从句,no matter what引导让步状语从句,who引导定语从句) Passage 3 (24-25学年高一上·山东德州·期末) 1. I was preparing side dishes to go with our Sunday barbecue when our daughter Rose stormed in the front door and rushed to her room. I glanced out the window and saw our neighbor Lucy walking back to her house across the road. As a mother, my feeling told me something happened between them. “Rose, come in here. I need some help with dinner.” She came out of her room and stood beside me. She had a stubborn look on her face—the kind kids have when they know they are wrong but have persuaded themselves they are right. “I noticed that Lucy, your classmate, came over but didn’t stay long. Why?” I asked. “I don’t like her,” Rose complained. “I wish she would stop coming over here all the time. She dresses terribly, and sometimes she doesn’t smell good. Her nose is always runny, and her hair is in a mess. None of us like her.” I knew that she referred to the popular crowd. It was a lot for a senior high student to deal with, trying to fit in with the popular crowd. It might be a shame if one of the girls in that crowd knew Lucy was playing with Rose. I explained why I felt so sad for Lucy. “You see, baby,” I began, “I know how she felt today when you were sort of cold toward her. I know because that was me when I was in sixth grade. I was the poor kid with hand-me-down clothes, the kid who others looked down on. I also know what it was like to be hungry and see other families having a barbecue out and enjoying themselves. That feeling never goes away.” I went on to tell her that I didn’t want her to be that child or adult who looked down on others. I told her I wanted her to be kind and helpful, not judgmental and hurtful. I noticed Rose had tears in her eyes. Minutes later, Rose went to Lucy’s house across the road. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 【答案】 Minutes later, Rose went to Lucy’s house across the road. She knocked tentatively on the door, her heart pounding. When Lucy opened the door, Rose could see the surprise on her face. “Hi, Lucy,” Rose began, “I just wanted to apologize for earlier. I shouldn’t have been so rude.” Lucy’s expression softened, and she stepped aside to let Rose in. “I wanted to invite you to our Sunday barbecue,” Rose offered. “I hope we can still be friends and enjoy some quality time together.” Lucy smiled, her eyes welling up with tears. “Thank you, Rose,” she whispered. “I really appreciate it.” And just like that, the tension between the girls eased, paving the way for a stronger friendship. 3. 词汇激活 行为类 ①看到:see/observe/notice ②邀请:invite/ask/send an invitation to 情绪类 ①感激:appreciate/be grateful/be appreciative ②惊讶:surprise/amazement/astonishment 【点睛】[高分句型1]When Lucy opened the door, Rose could see the surprise on her face.(运用了when引导的时间状语从句) [高分句型2]I hope we can still be friends and enjoy some quality time together.(运用了省略that的宾语从句) Passage 4 (23-24学年高一上·山东聊城·期末) 1. Alphabetical (字母表的) order was a big problem for Keisha Williams. In every list, on every line, in the lunchroom and the classroom, teachers put all the W’s together. Alice Wilkins was always one place ahead of Keisha. “You two are going to be friends,” said the girls’ teacher, Ms. Mubarak, “whether you like it or not.” Yeah, right. Could she be friends with Alice? “I doubt it,” Keisha thought. Alice was perfect. She was everything Keisha wasn’t. Alice changed her hairstyle every day. She always wore beautiful clothing. She had polish (指甲油) on her nails. Keisha had plain (普通的) nails, a very ordinary hairstyle — and not to mention her out-of-tyle clothes. Alice had new fashionable notebooks. Keisha’s notebooks were boring black and white. Keisha complained to her mother that her notebooks were too plain. “They still have paper and lines,” her mother said. “You don’t need glitter (华丽) to make you smart.” Keisha thought Alice’s mother treated her like a grown-up. Alice had a house key and said that she always let herself into her apartment. But when Keisha came home, she had to ring for her mother to open the door. And every time, her mother would give her a big bear hug. That’s for babies, Keisha always thought, trying to free herself from her mother’s arms. Paragraph 1: One Tuesday at school when math tests were handed back, Keisha got her usual A. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Paragraph 2: Later, in the cafeteria, Keisha and Alice worked on math problems together. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 【答案】One Tuesday at school when math tests were handed back, Keisha got her usual A. Seconds later, Alice turned around and whispered, “I think you’re the smartest girl in our grade.” “Thank you,” replied Keisha, surprised by the praise. “I’m not so good in math,” Alice admitted. “I’ve been afraid to ask, but... can you help me?” “Sure,” Keisha said. “At lunch?” Alice asked. Keisha nodded. Later, in the cafeteria, Keisha and Alice worked on math problems together. Alice discovered that Keisha was a math talent, “How do you do that?” Alice wondered. “I work with my mom,” Keisha explained. “I work on math problems by myself first, then mom tests me.” “Oh,” said Alice, “my mom always works late and doesn’t have time to help me. You are lucky to have such a great mom.” That day when Keisha got home from school, her mother met her at the door and gave her the usual bear hug. This time, Keisha didn’t avoid her. She smiled. 3.词汇激活 行为类 ①回复:reply/respond ②帮助:help/assist ③避开:avoid/keep away from 情绪类 ①惊讶的:surprised/astonished ②害怕的:afraid/frightened/scared 【点睛】【高分句型1】Seconds later, Alice turned around and whispered, “I think you’re the smartest girl in our grade.” 2】That day when Keisha got home from school, her mother met her at the door and gave her the usual bear hug.(运用了when引导的时间状语从句) Passage 5 (23-24学年高一上·山东曲阜·期末) 1. Money Couldn’t Buy Everything Fifteen years ago, I was born in a big family. I had been taught that money couldn’t buy everything ever since I was a little kid. My parents are the most hard-working people I have ever seen. As much as my parents tried to teach me these values, some could only be learned through personal experiences. As a child, I would sit in the church trying to concentrate on the words of the priest (牧师),but my attention was soon attracted by the shining gold and the diamonds worn by the Saturday churchgoers. As my eyes began to wander, I noticed men dressed in their tailored suits and shirts with women in their designer dresses. My family, on the other hand, was the opposite of rich. Our clothes had been washed so many times that the colors had become dull and lifeless. Although this showed the money struggles of our large family, our faces were always washed and hair neatly combed. When sitting on the old big red and white truck after the service, I pictured the lives led by those driving their brand-new cars, wishing I would be one of them. I never stopped those daydreams, even when I was in middle school. Since it was a private school, most of the children came from wealthy families. Although I could hide my lack of wealth at school by wearing our school uniforms, my situation was embarrassingly obvious on weekends with my classmates wearing designer jeans and I had no choice but to wear my sisters’ old jeans. I never fitted in with my classmates. To my relief, there was only one girl named Julie who opened her heart to me. I was attached to her. Soon, her birthday was approaching. Julie invited me to attend her birthday party. Paragraph 1: However, I grew upset as I couldn’t afford a gift. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Paragraph 2: When she opened the gift box, my heart was too nervous to beat. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 【答案】However, I grew upset as I couldn’t afford a gift. It would be such an embarrassing scene to be present without a gift. I even thought about quitting, but I was not able to bring it forth. I struggled for days but couldn’t figure out any solution. One day, while helping with my hardworking parents with the housework, it suddenly occurred to me that maybe I could make a gift by myself. I immediately started my DIY project, which ended up with a toy doll. The big day finally came. I arrived at her house and handed her the box. When she opened the gift box, my heart was too nervous to beat. I looked closely at her face, wondering if she would just laugh at me. What happened next was totally beyond my imagination. Upon seeing the doll, Julie let out a cry of excitement and she held it close to her face, saying repeatedly that it was the sweetest gift she had ever received. Her words freed me. I couldn’t help smiling together with her. At that precious moment, I realized money couldn’t buy everything. It was our friendship that really mattered. 想出解决方案:figure out a solution / find a resolution ②.我突然想到:it occurred to me that… / it dawned on me that… ③. 发出兴奋的叫声:let out a cry of excitement / shout with joy ②. When my mom opened the door, we saw a puppy (小狗). We looked around to see if we could find its owner, but there was no one. We took it inside and fed it. Regardless of how badly I wanted to keep the puppy, we decided to look for the owner. We looked all day, but we failed. We talked about whether we should keep looking or whether we should look the next day. We all agreed to look for its owner the next day. So, the next day my family and I looked for the dog’s owner. It was so hard looking for its owner. We were looking for flyers (传单) that involved the puppy, but no luck. We wouldn’t have quit because it was a puppy. “We won’t stop looking,” my mom and dad said. We were going to take care of the puppy until we found its owner. When we woke up in the morning, we went to a pet shop to buy the puppy some dog food. After that we went back home to feed the puppy the dog food that we had just bought. After we fed the puppy, we gave it a nice bath. It was so dirty that the fur was black and sticky, but after we gave it a bath, it turned white. And I noticed there was a collar (项圈) on it, which said “Coby”. After a while, we went to look for the puppy’s owner, but my mom stayed at home, and it was only my dad and me this time. We continued looking more and more until we found a flyer. We looked at it. It said, “Lost Dog: Please Help If Found.” Then we looked at the picture; it looked exactly like Coby. We were both happy that we found a flyer that was for Coby. There was a phone number on the flyer. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 【答案】One possible version: There was a phone number on the flyer. My dad called it and someone answered; it was a lady. My dad asked whether she was the one who put out the flyers. She said “Yes!” with excitement and told us Coby had been gone days before. Then we told her that we had her puppy and we would take him to her. She told us her address at once; then we went to it. A lady opened the door, and when she saw the puppy, she screamed with joy. We handed her the puppy, feeling proud. She wanted to give us a reward for taking care of her puppy, but we said it was OK. We went home tired but content, telling my mom the whole thing. My family became friends with the lady, and we usually visited her, and of course, Coby! 词汇激活 行为类 ①告诉:tell /inform ②有:have/possess ③照顾:take care of /look after ④拜访:visit/pay a visit to 情绪类 ①疲惫的:tired/exhausted ②兴奋:excitement/thrill 【点睛】[高分句型1] My dad asked whether she was the one who put out the flyers. It’s so big I usually end up overwhelmed before finding what I’m looking for; even the parking lot is bigger than I’d like. When I go, I park beside a stray shopping cart so I can put Phillip, who is two years old, into the shopping cart and have Teresa, who is five, walk beside me into the store. When we reach the entryway, we swap to a two-child cart so they can both ride. It was a typical shopping trip. We looked at dog food, pool toys, children’s shoes, and sweatpants in both girls and boys sections. Teresa eventually decided she wanted to walk and I agreed. Besides, those two-kid carts were hard enough to steer with two children in them; with one child, it was easier to control. When I’d had enough, we headed toward the front with a bag of dog food and a T-shirt to color for Grandma for Mother’s Day. After putting our purchases on the check-out counter, I realized I no longer had my purse. I’d put my kids in the second cart but left my purse in the first! So I went back to the entrance, holding Phillip in my arms and leading Teresa by the hand. The greeter remembered me leaving my purse; he had taken it to customer service. Customer service remembered it, but had locked it in an office. They had to find the person with the right key, so it took a bit of time to recover it. After about 15 minutes’ waiting, I finally got my purse back. I pulled out some notes, and handed them to the manager of the customer service to show my gratitude. But he turned me down. Paragraph 1: While saying “thank you” repeatedly, I realized Teresa was no longer at my side. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Paragraph 2: I took her into my arms and planted multiple kisses in her cheeks. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 【答案】One possible version: While saying “thank you” repeatedly, I realized Teresa was no longer at my side. I went bananas. My mind went blank. I shouted loudly, “Teresa! Where are you? Come back to Mama!” My shouts drew the attention of all shoppers, who looked in this direction, some with pity in their eyes, others looking annoyed. The manager of the customer service sent out some security members in search of her. Five minutes inched by, but still no sign of her. Suddenly, Teresa appeared, holding the hand of a stranger. I rushed over with Philip in my arms. I took her into my arms and planted multiple kisses in her cheeks. She burst into tears, so did Philip and I. “Are you OK? Where did you go? Don’t do that again!” I yelled at her.  “I wanted to buy you a gift for Mother’s Day but I was lost. Sorry, Mom.” I stood up and thanked the stranger a million times. Getting back to our car, I double checked everything, making sure I didn’t make another mistake. What an experience! In the chain of disasters, many strangers reached out to help. Knowing there are so many good people out there is the best Mother’s Day gift I have ever received. 词汇激活 行为类 ①大声呼喊:shout loudly/yell out/cry out loudly ②吸引注意:draw the attention of/catch the attention of ③冲过去:rush over/dash over/hurry over 情绪类 ①惊慌失措:mind goes blank/be in a panic/be at a loss ②恼怒的:annoyed/irritated/angry 【点睛】【高分句型1】My shouts drew the attention of all shoppers, who looked in this direction, some with pity in their eyes, others looking annoyed. In the past, its clear waters sparkled like diamonds under the sun, and the gentle rustling of the leaves along the banks created a pleasant tune. Colorful fish and frogs made it their home, and kids in the neighborhood would spend hours by the water, playing with their friends or observing the wonders of nature. However, over time, the pond became dirtier and dustier. Empty plastic bottles, fast-food wrappers, and even old bicycles were carelessly thrown into the water. The once-clear waters turned dark, and a strange smell began to hang over the area, driving away the wildlife. One sunny afternoon, I took a walk around the pond and was shocked by its sorry state. Determined to do something about it, I took out my phone and started taking pictures from every angle. Each image recorded the extent of the pollution, serving as a reminder of the urgent need for action. After getting home, I sat down and crafted a detailed plan. I estimated that we would need at least fifteen volunteers to cover all areas of the pond. I made a list of necessary tools, such as long-handled scoops, waterproof boots, and garbage bins. Then, I spent hours designing posters with pictures of the polluted pond and the words “Let’s Bring Back Our Shining Pond.” My mother even suggested that I publish a post on the net! I first shared my plan with my closest friends. We met at a nearby playground, and as I showed them the pictures, they were horrified. “I can’t believe it has become like this,” shouted Jack. “We used to have so much fun here,” added Emily, and her voice was filled with sadness. I then presented my plan, and without hesitation, they all agreed to help. Finally, we made next Sunday the cleaning day and spread the news to more kids in our community. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Several days later, I received an invitation from our community committee. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 【答案】(One possible version) Finally, we made next Sunday the cleaning day and spread the news to more kids in our community. Equipped with long-handled scoops, waterproof boots, and garbage bins, we gathered around the pond. Everyone was full of energy, ready to take on the challenge. We carefully scooped up rubbish from the water surface, while others collected litter on the banks. As we worked, a sense of unity and purpose filled the air. After hours of hard work, the pond was transformed. The water started to regain its clarity, and the bad smell disappeared. Seeing our work, we felt a great sense of achievement, knowing that we had made a real difference to our community. Several days later, I received an invitation from our community committee. In the invitation was a sentence, saying “You have been elected the Environmental Protection Guardian of our community and will be invited to make a short speech in the Award Ceremony next week.” I was so pleased that I shared the good news with my mother. “I’m proud of you, my child,” she said with tears. I still remember the unforgettable day when I stood on the stage expressing my ideas, a great round of applause drowned me. As a youth, I think it’s our responsibility to protect our environment. 词汇激活 行为类 ①充满:fill/be full of/stuff ②消失:disappear/vanish ③看到:see/catch sight of 情绪类 ①高兴:pleased/glad ②难忘:unforgettable/memorable 【点睛】【高分句型1】As we worked, a sense of unity and purpose filled the air. I had three months before college started, and I found it hard to choose a career path. My choices were limited. I could become a doctor or an engineer, or go into finance (金融) after getting a business degree. I wasn’t interested in engineering, so I was left with medicine or business. I couldn’t decide. My uncle, one of the elders in the family, suggested that I be a one-month intern (毕业实习生) at an international company and then a one-month intern at a hospital. After that, I could make a decision. It seemed like a great idea. I was accepted as a one-month intern at a foreign bank. I learned how the finance world worked, made new friends, and enjoyed the relaxing working environment. The month passed quickly, and I started working at a leading hospital. This experience was completely different. The hospital was very demanding. The days started at 7 am(compared to 9 am at the bank)and were full of endless duties. It was crazy. I began thinking about my two experiences. The bank offered a more relaxing working environment, better working hours, and less stress. The hospital was full of excitement and something unpredictable (难以预料的), but the studying and training were very hard. It seemed like business was going to win. In the last few days of my hospital internship, I was driving home after a very busy night. On the way, I saw an old man and an old woman standing by the road, looking very worried. I pulled over and asked what was wrong. The old man told me that his wife suddenly felt very sick and needed to go to the hospital immediately. Hearing this, I decided to help them. I quickly got the old man and his wife into my car. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The next day, I went to see the old man and his wife. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 【答案】 I quickly got the old man and his wife into my car. I drove as fast as possible, checking on the woman nervously through the rearview mirror. She leaned weakly against her husband, who kept thanking me repeatedly. When we arrived at the hospital, I helped them register and accompanied them to the emergency room. The doctors rushed in to treat the woman, and the old man held my hand tightly, saying I was their savior that night. I stayed until her condition stabilized, realizing how a small act could mean so much to others. The next day, I went to see the old man and his wife. The woman was resting comfortably, and her face lit up when she saw me. “You’re an angel,” she said, reaching for my hand. Her words touched me deeply. As I talked to them, I realized something: Though the hospital life was tough, it offered moments of real connection and purpose. I thought about the bank’s ease but found myself drawn to the hospital’s chaos — where every day might bring a chance to help someone. That’s when I knew my choice: I wanted to be a doctor, to be there for people in their darkest hours. 词汇激活 行为类 ① 快速驾驶:drive as fast as possible/speed up/drive hurriedly ② 冲:rush/dash ③ 握住我的手:hold my hand/take my hand/grab my hand 情绪类 ① 紧张:nervously/anxiously/with tension ② 深深感动某人:touch sb deeply/move sb. greatly 【点睛】【高分句型1】When we arrived at the hospital, I helped them register and accompanied them to the emergency room. 2】The doctors rushed in to treat the woman, and the old man held my hand tightly, saying I was their savior that night. Having moved from Shanghai just three months ago, he felt the party was his first real chance to make friends. His mother had spent the entire morning in their tiny apartment kitchen carefully preparing a gift: homemade mooncakes wrapped in red paper decorated with dragon patterns. “In China, red brings good luck and the dragon represents strength,” she said proudly. “These mooncakes carry our family’s blessings.” At the party, colorful balloons danced along the ceiling (天花板), and the living room was filled with the latest pop songs. Li Wei noticed everyone’s gifts piled (堆放) on a table, and he placed his gift on the top, whose traditional appearance stood out among the gifts. He looked around and found that most of the faces were unfamiliar. So he sat down and listened to the music, waiting excitedly for that big moment — opening the gifts. Soon it came. In the cheers of her friends, Emma walked over to the table. Her eyes were immediately drawn to Li Wei’s uniquely wrapped gift. However, when she opened it, silence fell as she stared at the unfamiliar pastries (糕点). “What…are these?” she asked hesitantly. A boy leaned over and laughed loudly, “Looks like play-dough (橡皮泥)!” Heat rushed to Li Wei’s face as he stammered (结结巴巴地说), “They’re traditional Chinese mooncakes ...” However, his voice was swallowed (淹没) by the laughter that followed. Someone even whispered, “This might be leftovers from his home. He must think it’s a picnic outing.” Li Wei’s heart sank. He didn’t expect that his well-intended gift — a gesture of love, now turned into something strange and unwelcome in this foreign setting. The joyful atmosphere disappeared quickly, replaced by an uncomfortable silence as guests looked at the mooncakes as if they were strange objects from another world. Just as Li Wei wished he could disappear, he suddenly remembered what his mother had said with pride before he came here. He quickly calmed down. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Three months later, Li Wei and his mooncakes appeared at school’s International Food Fair. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 【答案】 He quickly calmed down. He took a deep breath and decided to introduce the mooncakes. “Mooncakes are very important in Chinese culture,” he began, his voice steady. “They are round, symbolizing reunion. We eat them during the Mid-Autumn Festival to celebrate family togetherness. Each bite is full of sweet fillings, just like the warmth of a family gathering.” As he spoke, the room fell silent. People listened intently, their curiosity piqued. Some started to nod in understanding, and the awkward atmosphere gradually faded away. Emma took a small bite of the mooncake and her eyes widened in surprise. “It’s delicious!” she exclaimed. Others followed suit, and soon, the laughter turned into praises. Three months later, Li Wei and his mooncakes appeared at school’s International Food Fair. His booth was decorated with red lanterns and Chinese knots. People queued up to taste his mooncakes. Li Wei introduced the mooncakes with confidence, sharing the cultural significance behind them. Many students and teachers were deeply attracted. They not only enjoyed the sweet taste of the mooncakes but also learned about Chinese traditions. His mooncakes became the star of the fair. Li Wei was overjoyed. He realized that cultural differences could be bridged through sharing and understanding, and his little mooncakes had become a wonderful bridge to connect different cultures. 词汇激活: 行为类 ①开始:begin/start ②象征:symbolize/represent ③意识到:realize/become aware of 情绪类 ①尴尬:awkward/embarrassed ②惊讶地:in surprise/in amazement/in astonishment 【点睛】[高分句型1] They are round, symbolizing reunion.(运用了现在分词作伴随状语) [高分句型2] As he spoke, the room fell silent. I asked my son and daughter to go together, but they preferred to play at home. People were busy buying gifts for their beloved ones. It seemed that the bigger the gifts were the better they would be. I shook my head sadly and walked on. I was shopping alone trying to pick up some thick winter socks to warm my frozen feet. As I rounded the corner in the store I saw a Christmas tree full of paper angels (天使). On each angel was the name of a needy child whose family couldn’t afford to buy them a gift that year. Shoppers who picked an angel could buy a simple toy or gift. The store would wrap it and send it to the child that Christmas. Around the tree I saw a teenage boy and girl picking out several angels. Their mother was smiling while she watched them. I walked up next to her and started talking with her. She told me that her children started this several years ago when she first explained to them what the Charity Angel tree was for. Each offered to give up one of their toys that year so that a needy child could have one. It didn’t stop then, though. Each year since the kids had saved money they earned throughout the year and bought more and more children the gifts they wouldn't have otherwise. It had become a family tradition. Her voice faded, and before I knew it, I was standing before the Christmas tree. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Waving them goodbye, I left the store, a plan for next Christmas taking shape in my mind. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 【答案】范文: Her voice faded, and before I knew it, I was standing before the Christmas tree. Glancing at the flying paper angels, I felt a surge of warmth welling up inside me. I carefully chose one with the name of a 10-year-old boy, whose family struggled to make ends meet. Determined to bring him joy, I picked out a cool model airplane and a set of storybooks. As I placed the wrapped gifts at the collection desk, the brother and sister, who had sparked my inspiration, flashed me a bright smile, their eyes filled with encouragement. I responded with a smile and a thumbs-up. Waving them goodbye, I left the store, a plan for next Christmas taking shape in my mind. I decided to involve my son and daughter, who would surely be touched by this meaningful act. The moment I got home, I showed them photos of the Charity Angel tree and shared the heartwarming stories. Moved by what I told them, they immediately agreed to save money and join me next year. From then on, our family would also contribute to spreading love during Christmas, making helping others an unforgettable tradition. 词汇激活 行为类 ①选择:choose/select ②回应:respond/reply ③同意:agree/approve 情绪类 ①一股暖流涌上心头:I felt a surge of warmth welling up inside me./A warm current rose to my heart./A wave of tenderness washed over my heart. ②鼓励:encouragement/inspiration 【点睛】[高分句型1] I carefully chose one with the name of a 10-year-old boy, whose family struggled to make ends meet.(由关系代词whose引导的非限制性定语从句) [高分句型2] As I placed the wrapped gifts at the collection desk, the brother and sister, who had sparked my inspiration, flashed me a bright smile, their eyes filled with encouragement. I was just a kid then, and my big sister told me there was no Santa Claus. I fled to my Grandma because she would be straight with me. I knew Grandma always told me the truth. Grandma was home, and I told her everything. “No Santa Claus?” She shouted. “Ridiculous! Don’t believe it. “Now, put on your coat, and let’s go.” “Go where, Grandma?” I asked. “Where” turned out to be Kerby’s General Store, the one store in town that had a little bit of just about everything. As we walked through its doors, Grandma handed me ten dollars. “Take this money, and buy something for someone who needs it. I’ll wait for you in the car.” Then she turned and walked out of Kerby’s. I was only eight years old. I’d often gone shopping with my mother, but never had I shopped for anything all by myself. The store seemed big and crowded, full of people competing to finish their Christmas shopping. For a few moments I just stood there, confused, holding that ten-dollar bill, wondering what to buy and who to buy it for. I suddenly thought of Bobby Decker, who was a kid with bad breath and messy hair. He sat right behind me in Mrs. Pollock’s grade-two class. Bobby Decker didn’t have a coat. I knew that because he never went out for break during the winter. His mother always wrote a note, telling the teacher that he had a cough, but we kids knew that Bobby Decker didn’t have a cough, and he didn’t have a coat. I would buy Bobby Decker a coat! I chose a red one, which looked really warm, and he would like that. “Is this a Christmas present for someone?” the lady behind the counter asked kindly, as I laid ten dollars down. “Yes.” The nice lady smiled at me, put the coat in a bag and wished me a Merry Christmas. 注意:1.续写词数应为150左右; 2.续写部分分为两段,每段的开头语已为你写好。 Paragraph 1: That evening, Grandma helped me wrap (包裹) the coat in Christmas paper. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Paragraph2: Grandma and I waited breathlessly for Bobby Decker’s front door to open. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 【答案】Paragraph 1: That evening, Grandma helped me wrap (包裹) the coat in Christmas paper. She wrote “To Bobby, from Santa Claus” on it, after which she drove me over to Bobby’s house, explaining I was officially one of the Santa’s helpers. Grandma parked down the street from Bobby’s house, and I took a deep breath, dashing for his front door. Seeing no other people notice us, I put the Christmas present down, pounded on his doorbell and then I hid in the car with my grandma. Paragraph2: Grandma and I waited breathlessly for Bobby Decker’s front door to open. Finally, it opened. Out went Bobby Decker. Seeing the coat in the bag, he glanced around and looked quite astonished. Seconds later, he called his mother to go out for a check. Somehow everything went wrong. Our hotels were “tourist traps” and our rented car broke down. On Christmas Eve, when we checked into a dirty hotel in Nice, there was no Christmas spirit in our hearts. It was raining and cold when we went out to eat. We found a small restaurant poorly decorated for the holiday. Only five tables in the restaurant were taken. There were two German couples, two French families, and an American sailor, by himself. They were eating in stony silence except the sailor. He was writing a letter, and a half-smile lighted his face. In the corner a piano player was listlessly (无精打采地) playing Christmas music. All of us were interrupted by an old French flower woman through the front door. She had a worn overcoat and her old shoes were wet. Carrying her basket of flowers, she went from one table to another. No one bought any. Exhausted and sad, she sat down at a table. The sailor finished his meal and got up to leave. Putting on his coat, he walked over to the flower woman’s table. “Merry Christmas,” he said, smiling and picking out a handful of flowers. “How much are they?” “Two francs, sir.” The sailor put a twenty franc note in the woman’s hand. “I don’t have change, sir,” she said. “I’ll get some from the waiter.” “No, ma’am,” said the sailor, leaning over and kissing the ancient cheek. “This is my Christmas present for you.” 注意: 1.所续写短文的词数应为80左右; 2.续写部分的开头语已为你写好; Then the sailor headed for our table with the flowers in his hand. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 【答案】参考范文: Then the sailor headed for our table with the flowers in his hand. He picked out a red flower and placed it on our table. “Merry Christmas!” he greeted us in a cheerful voice. Before we could say “Thank you”, he went to other tables. In an instant, everyone in the room was presented with flowers. These magical flowers melted our frustrated hearts and blew away all the unpleasant moods. With the pleasant music filling the room, we dance happily, laughing and wishing each other good luck. The spirit of Christmas came back to us again. All was due to a young American sailor, who, through his kindness and generosity, brightened our paths. 放置:place/put ②.问候祝福:greet/bless 情绪类 ①.好心地:kindly/through his kindness ②.快乐地:happily/cheerfully 【点睛】[高分句型1]. (由关系代词who引导非限制性定语从句) Passage 5 (23-24学年高一上·山东日照·期末) 1.Pumpkin (南瓜) carving at Halloween is a family tradition. We visit a local farm every October. In the pumpkin field, I compete with my three brothers and sister to seek out the biggest pumpkin. My dad has a rule that we have to carry our pumpkins back home, and as the eldest child I have an advantage — I carried an 85-pounder (85磅重的南瓜) back last year. This year, it was hard to tell whether my prize or the one chosen by my 14-year-old brother, Jason, was the winner. Unfortunately we forgot to weigh them before taking out their insides, but I was determined to prove my point. All of us were hard at work at the kitchen table, with my mom filming the annual event. I’m unsure now why I thought forcing my head inside the pumpkin would settle the matter, but it seemed to make perfect sense at the time. With the pumpkin resting on the table, hole uppermost (向上), I bent over and pressed my head against the opening. At first I got jammed (塞住) just above my eyes and then, as I went on with my task, unwilling to quit, my nose briefly prevented entry. Finally I managed to put my whole head into it, like a cork (软木塞) forced into a bottle. I was able to straighten up with the huge pumpkin resting on my shoulders. My excitement was short-lived. The pumpkin was heavy. “I’m going to set it down, now,” I said, and with Jason helping to support its weight, I bent back over the table to give it somewhere to rest. It was only when I tried to remove my head that I realized getting out was going to be less straightforward than getting in. When I pulled hard, my nose got in the way. I got into a panic as I pressed firmly against the table and moved my head around trying to find the right angle, but it was no use. “I can’t get it out!” I shouted, my voice sounding unnaturally loud in the enclosed (封闭的) space. 注意: 1.续写词数应为150左右; 2.请如下格式在相应位置作答。 It was five or six minutes though it felt much longer. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The video was posted online the Monday before Halloween. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 【答案】    It was five or six minutes though it felt much longer. Dad was summoned-less, it seemed, in expectation of practical help than to make sure he didn’t miss out on the spectacle. I heard him propose calling the fire department. “Stay tuned,” said Mom; she’d mentioned she was going to upload the video to Facebook, but it was only then that I realized she’d been filming the whole time. The video cuts before my rescue — Dad got me to push my head farther into the pumpkin so Mom could reach in and undo the rubber band round my ponytail. I emerged with squash-conditioned hair, a sore chin and my nose plugged with pulp.     The video was posted the Monday before Halloween. By the end of that day, it had over 1, 000 views. People asked Mom to put it on Youtube, and by Wednesday morning we were getting 5: 00 am call from TV breakfast shows and then the international media-the video started racking up hundreds of thousands of views. When I went on a youth camp, I was recognized by children I’d never met. The pumpkin also became a minor celebrity. Passersby and trick-or-treaters would knock and ask, “Which is Rachel’s pumpkin?” before taking selfies with it. 词汇激活 行为类 ①提议:propose→offer ②意识到:realize→be aware of ③获得:rack up→obtain ④认出:recognize→identify 情绪类 ①疼痛的:sore→painful 【点睛】[高分句型1]“Stay tuned,” said Mom; she’d mentioned she was going to upload the video to Facebook, but it was only then that I realized she’d been filming the whole time.(it was…that…连接强调句) [高分句型2]When I went on a youth camp, I was recognized by children I’d never met.(when引导时间状语从句和省略关系词的定语从句) Passage 6 (20-21学年高一上·山东潍坊·期末) 1.阅读下面短文,根据其内容和所给段落的开头语续写一段,使之构成一篇完整的短文。 I was eight years old the first time I felt sympathy (同情) for my sister. It happened on Easter, one of our favorite holidays. “Michelle,” I whispered on Easter morning. But there was no reply. “Now!” I shouted before putting my hand over my mouth. The last thing I wanted to do was wake up our parents. After a few minutes, my sister finally pulled herself out of bed. It didn’t take long for me to find my basket. But twenty minutes later my sister was still looking for her basket. At her repeated requests, I decided to help, but don't get the wrong idea. It wasn’t because I felt sorry for her. It was because I’d now been issued a challenge. I had a mission and a case to solve. The Case of the Missing Basket. By now, our parents were awake. “Looks like the Easter bunny (复活节兔子) came!” Mum said, “You haven’t found your basket, Michelle? Let’s keep looking.” Mom pointed to the hallway closet (壁橱), saying “We haven’t looked in any closets”. Michelle shot across the room, opened the closet door and started searching through the shoes and bags and gloves on the closet floor. Nothing. “Look up!” I said. “Up above the jackets!” Mission completed. “My basket !” she shouted. “Mom, can you get it?” Way up on the shelf where we usually kept our soaps was my sister’s Easter basket. “Here you go, honey” Mom said, as she handed Michelle her basket, too excited to notice anything strange before passing it off. But as I read my magazine, I felt something I’d never felt towards my sister before. I was sad to see my sister crying, too. Suddenly, I had an idea that I could exchange gifts with my sister. I took out my basket, put it in front of my sister and said, “Michelle, don’t cry. I took the wrong gift. It’s yours.” Michelle stopped crying and said, “Really?” I said, “of course.” Michelle laughed and began to sympathize with me, saying happily, “I’m going to share my chocolate with you.” 词汇激活 行为类 ①安慰:comfort her/console ②礼让: turn sth over to another/ give the gift to someone else 情绪类 ①伤心:feel sad/be heart-broken ②快乐:be happy/feel cheerful 【点睛】[高分句型1]. One morning in November 2021, Swift was ready to go jogging as usual, with Milo following her happily. To her surprise, as soon as she opened the front door, Milo took off running towards the gate quickly. It was very unusual. He always ran after his master. Outside the gate, Milo was looking around the neighborhood, looking a little alert. Suddenly, he ran straightly to the house across the street, barking loudly and sniffing around. He seemed unsatisfied with this house. He quickly ran to the one next door. He stopped there and turned to Swift, barking more loudly, with his tail swinging crazily. Swift followed him, shouting sharply “Stop, Milo!” Some passing neighbors were looking disapprovingly (不满地) at them. Swift was kind of embarrassed. Not everyone wanted a strange dog on their property and liked hearing a dog’s barks in the quiet morning. She tried to get Milo to go back, but Milo seemed not to follow the master’s order. He started to scratch on the front door. Swift wondered, “Why is he trying to break into the house?” She looked at the house, which belonged to Sherry Starr, who was 85 years old and seldom walked out of her house. It was the time for her to trim her bushes in the garden. Somehow, she wasn’t there that day. Although Swift was a little doubtful, she still tried to drag Milo away. But at this time she could hear a sound coming through an open upstairs window. 注意: 1.续写词数应为80左右; 2.请按如下格式在答题卡的相应位置作答。 It was a voice yelling “Help”. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 【答案】One possible version: It was a voice yelling “Help”. Swift decided to break into the house, but Milo rushed before her, When she came in, what she saw shocked her. Starr was lying on the floor, looking scared. “I slipped, couldn’t move.” she said faintly. Swift realized Milo apparently heard Starr as she opened her door just now. She called 911 at once. Starr was rushed to the hospital and got timely treatment. Later, she showed her gratitude to Swift and Milo, saying “Only Milo could hear my cries for help. He was a blessing.” 词汇激活 行为类 ①认出:recognize/know/realize ②进入:come in/get into/enter ③送入医院:rush sb to hospital/send sb to hospital 情感类 ①震惊的:shocked/amazed/astonished ②恐惧的:scared/frightened/terrified ③感激:show gratitude to/ show his appreciation /be grateful 【点睛】【高分句型1】Milo was still barking, with his tail swinging more crazily.(运用了with+宾语+宾语补足语复合结构) 【高分句型2】When she came in, what she saw shocked her.(运用了when引导时间状语从句,what引导主语从句) 【高分句型3】Starr was lying on the floor, looking scared.(运用了现在分词作状语) / 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 $ 专题09 读后续写 主题01 人与社会——友情 Passage 1 (24-25学年高一上·山东枣庄·期末) 1.阅读下面材料,根据其内容和所给段落开头语续写两段,使之构成一篇完整的短文。 Friendship is truly a great thing, and I have a friendship with my dear friend Lily that means a lot to me. 注意: (1) 续写的词数应为150左右; (2) 请按如下格式在答题卡的相应位置作答。 One day, an unexpected visitor arrived at my hospital bedside. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ With Lucy’s company and doctors’ proper treatment, things began to improve. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Passage 3 (24-25学年高一上·山东德州·期末) 1.阅读下面材料,根据其内容和所给段落开头语续写一段,使其构成一篇完整的短文。 I was preparing side dishes to go with our Sunday barbecue when our daughter Rose stormed in the front door and rushed to her room. 注意: 1.续写词数应为100词左右; 2.请按下列格式在答题卡的相应位置作答。 Minutes later, Rose went to Lucy’s house across the road. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Passage 4 (23-24学年高一上·山东聊城·期末) 1.阅读下面材料,根据其内容和所给段落开头语续写两段,使之构成一篇完整的短文。 Alphabetical (字母表的) order was a big problem for Keisha Williams. However, I don’t have money to buy them.” The tree said, “Sorry, I don’t have money, but you can pick my apples and sell them. Then you will have money.” The boy was so excited that he grabbed all the apples on the tree and left happily. What made the tree sad was that the boy never appeared after he picked the apples. After a very long time, one day the boy returned and the tree was so excited to ask the boy to play with him but the boy said he didn’t have time to play and he had to work for his family and he needed a house for shelter. “Sorry, I don’t have a house. 注意: 1. 续写词数应为100左右; 2. 请按如下格式在答题纸的相应位置作答。 There was a phone number on the flyer. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Passage 2 (24-25学年高一上·山东潍坊·期末) 1.阅读下面材料,根据其内容和所给段落开头语续写两段,使之构成一篇完整的短文。 Last week, I went to a huge chain store. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Passage 3 (24-25学年高一上·山东泰安·期末) 1.阅读下面材料,根据其内容和所给段落开头语续写两段,使之构成一篇完整的短文。 There was a pond in the center of our community, which had long been a source of joy and comfort. 注意: 1. 续写词数应为150个左右; 2. 请按如下格式在答题卡的相应位置作答。 Finally, we made next Sunday the cleaning day and spread the news to more kids in our community. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Several days later, I received an invitation from our community committee. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Passage 4 (24-25学年高一上·济宁一中·期末) 1.阅读下面材料,根据其内容和所给段落开头语续写两段,使之构成一篇完整的短文。 In 1989, I had just graduated from high school. 注意: 1.续写词数应为150个左右; 2.请按如下格式在答题卡的相应位置作答。 I quickly got the old man and his wife into my car. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The next day, I went to see the old man and his wife. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 主题02 人与社会——生活与文化 Passage 1 (24-25学年高一上·山东临沂·期末) 1.阅读下面材料,根据其内容和所给段落开头语续写两段,使之构成一篇完整的短文。 When 16-year-old Li Wei received an invitation to his British classmate Emma’s birthday party, he was so excited that he almost jumped up. 注意: 1.词数应为150左右; 2.按如下格式在答题卡的相应位置作答。 He quickly calmed down. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Three months later, Li Wei and his mooncakes appeared at school’s International Food Fair. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Passage 2 (19-20学年高一上·山东济南一中·期末) 1.阅读下面材料,根据其内容和所给段落开头语续写两段,使之构成一篇完整的短文。 It was late December. It was the great Christmas shopping time. 注意: 1.续写词数应为100个左右; 2.请按如下格式在答题卡的相应位置作答。 Her voice faded, and before I knew it, I was standing before the Christmas tree. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Waving them goodbye, I left the store, a plan for next Christmas taking shape in my mind. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Passage 3 (23-24学年高一上·山东烟台·期末) 1.阅读下面材料,根据其内容和所给段落的开头语续写两段话,使之构成一个完整的故事。 Christmas Day was coming. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Passage 4 (19-20学年高一上·山东潍坊·期末) 1.阅读下面材料,根据其内容和所给段落开头语续写一段,使之构成一篇完整的短文。 Last year at Christmas time, my wife, three children and I were on our way from Paris to Nice. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Passage 5 (23-24学年高一上·山东日照·期末) 1.Pumpkin (南瓜) carving at Halloween is a family tradition. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Passage 6 (20-21学年高一上·山东潍坊·期末) 1.阅读下面短文,根据其内容和所给段落的开头语续写一段,使之构成一篇完整的短文。 I was eight years old the first time I felt sympathy (同情) for my sister. And that’s when it happened. My sister, the tough girl that I, until that day, had never seen break down, started crying. 注意: 1.续写的词数应为120左右; 2.按如下格式在答题卡的相应位置作答。 My sister’s Easter basket was empty except for the chocolate box ruined by mice. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ But as I read my magazine, I felt something I’d never felt towards my sister before. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 主题03 人与自然——动物 Passage 1 (23-24学年高一上·山东滨州·期末) 1.阅读下面材料,根据其内容和所给段落开头语续写一段,使之构成一篇完整的短文。 Milo is a rescue dog, adopted by twenty-year-old Mary Swift. But the dog is also a rescuer. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ / 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 $
