第四节 忧虑 故事情节的表现形式就是矛盾与冲突在矛盾与冲突的情境下，人们都会忧虑。对故事的主人翁来说，冲突就是问题，在问题没有解决之前主人翁都会担忧，所以在高考英语读后续写中有时需要我们掌握用英语表达忧虑的方式。 一、词汇储备 (1) 名词 worry; concern; fear; distress; anxiety; tension; uneasiness; trouble; problem (2) 动词 frown; sob; weep; upset: trouble; annoy; disturb (3) 形容词 worried; afraid; concerned; anxious; restless; uneasy; upset; gloomy; glum; down; distressed; troubled; serious; cheerless; depressing; dreary; miserable; terrible (4) 副词 restlessly; nervously; glumly; painfully (5) 短语 get on one's nerves; put wrinkles in one's brows; pace up and down; worn out; take it easy; burst into tears; have butterflies in one's stomach 二、表达方法 我们在读后续写中可以使用直陈式表述，描述性表述、比喻性表述、夸张性表述、拟人式表述、反语式表述和混合式表述七种方式来表达忧虑的心情。 1.直陈式表述 在读后续写中我们可以直接用worry、concern等词将优虑表达出来。 I was worried about you.
