As 意为“正如,如同”,引导非限制性定语从句,指代整个主句的内容
As 在从句中可作主语或宾语
As引导的非限制性定语从句可位于主句前面、中间或后面,一般用逗号与主句隔开

=whatever/whoever/whenever/wherever/whichever/however:意为(无论…),可引导让步状语从句
No matter+what/who/when/where/which/how 不可以引导主语从句、宾语从句、名词性从句等;wh-ever则可以
3.With复合结构
With+宾语+宾补:在句中常作状语‘表示时间、原因、方式、条件或伴随等。具体形式主要有:
With+宾语+现在分词(主动或正在进行)/过去分词(被动或已经完成)/动词不定式(尚未发生)/介词短语/形容词/副词/名词
4.Make it +adj./n.+for sb to do sth

It是形式宾语,不定式to do sth,是真正的宾语,形容词或名词是宾语补足语,for引出不定式的逻辑主语。即:make+it+宾补+for+不定式动作的逻辑主语+不定式(真正的宾语)
5.As if 引导方式状语从句
(教材例句) …the competitors danced onto the green field,waving their arms in the air as if they were eagles.……
①as if可以引导表语从句和方式状语从句。
②as if从句的语气:
·as if引导的从句所表示的内容若为事实或可能为事实,可用陈述语气。He looked as if he was about to burst into tears.他看上去好像要哭了。
·若与事实相反,应使用虚拟语气。对现在情况的虚拟:用一般过去时(be-were)
对过去情况的虚拟:用过去完成时
对将来情况的虚拟:用would/could/might+do
·He looked at me as if I were mad.他看着我仿佛我疯了似的。
·He behaved as if nothing had happened.他表现得若无其事。
·He opened his mouth as if he would say something.他张开嘴好像要说什么。
as if引导的从句有时可用省略形式。结构:as if+分词/不定式/形容词/介词短语等。
From time to time, Jason turned round as if (he was) searching for someone.贾森不时地转过身来,好像在找人。
8.Have been doing
(教材例句) They’ve been riding horses all their lives.
现在完成进行时是英语中动词的一种基本时态,其构成为“主语+助动词(have/has)+been+动词的现在分词+ 其他成分”。表示动作从过去某一时间开始,一直持续到现在,或者刚刚终止,或者可能仍然要继续下去
现在完成时与现在完成进行时的区别:
·现在完成时表示事情发生在过去,并一直持续到现在,且过去发生的动作对现在有一定的影响。现在完成时强调过去动作、行为的结果和影响。
·现在完成进行时表示从过去开始一直持续到现在的动作,强调这个动作可能会继续下去。它只强调动作、行为本身未完成。
表示状态的动词不能用于现在完成进行时。

1.Not only……but also:是并列连词,连接两个对等的成分
连接两个分句时,若not only 位于句首表示强调,not only所在的分句要用部分倒装,but also 后面的分句不倒装
连接并列主语时,谓语动词要遵循“就近原则”
Not only 只能连用,而but also既可连用,也可分开用,also也可省略。

2.Have sth done:使某事被做;遭遇某事
在have sth.done结构中,sth.与do是被动关系。
Eg:I must have the work finished on time.
我必须按时把这项工作完成。(主语自己做)
I'm going to have my hair cut.我要去理发。(让别人做) She had her bike stolen.
她的自行车被偷了。(表示一种遭遇)
have sb. do sth.(=get sb. to do sth.=make sb. do sth.)让某人做某事(sb.与do之间是主动关系)
can't/won't have sb. doing sth.不能容忍某人做某事have sth. to do有某事要做(have是实义动词“有”,to do作后置定语)

3.独立主格结构:After a while,a group of women came along,each balancing a pot of water on her head.
each balancing a pot of water on her head 是“代词each+v.-ing形式的短语”构成的独立主格结构,充当句子的状语,这种语法现象被称作独立主格结构。
(1)构成:名词/主格人称代词+现在分词/过去分词/不定式/形容词/副词/介词短语。

连接两个并列成分,表示完全否定,其用法如下:
1)连接两个名词或代词作主语时,谓语动词的数遵循就近一致的原则。
谓语动词的数遵循此原则的还有either... or..., not only...but also..., not...but...等。
(2)neither...nor...连接两个分句,neither或nor置于句首时,其后句子用部分倒装语序。
